About: I grew up on a dairy farm and caring for animals has always come naturally for me. We always had farm dogs and cats but then at the age of 12 I became the owner of a little beagle puppy that stole my heart. Brandy was my dog until I moved away from home. Over the years, I had two more dogs and six cats in my life! When my last dog passed, I missed him so much and asked my hairdresser if I could look after her little poodle. I really enjoyed his company and the opportunity to get out for walks with him. I am a retired healthcare professional, so my daily schedule is very flexible. Whenever I am needed, I can be available, whether it's early morning or late afternoon. If I care for your pet, I would want you to tell me about any special diet or medication requirements. The fact that she worked from home and was able to be flexible with pickup and drop-off times was amazing and even allowed me to get a few dog free longer bike rides in while I was visiting Kelowna. Ranger seemed completely comfortable with both Emilie and her pup Jacki, though I'm sure her Jacki was unimpressed with my tired dog that just wanted to sleep in the A/C for a few hours! Everything went perfectly smooth and I would definitely use Emilie again!”
About: We are a mature couple who loves pets of all kinds - my partner is great at training puppies and young dogs too. We have a flexible schedule and plenty of space both inside and outside and we love a good long walk! Currently working freelance from home so lots of flexibility, time, and attention for your fur babies! Available at fairly short notice both weekdays and weekends and happy with early or late walks, drop offs and pick ups. We have a large unfenced yard backing onto lots of open woodlands and hills with tons of opportunity for good long walks. We also have a fully fenced multi level pool deck with lots of space for outdoor run around too. Inside the house is well set up for pets with wooden floors, plenty of space, as well as cosy corners and a real fireplace with perfect curling up rugs for winter evenings!

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a child, and there has never been a time when dogs weren’t a part of my daily routine. Caring for animals has always been something that comes naturally to me. Over the years, neighbours, friends, and family members have trusted me to walk, feed, care for, and love their pets while they’re away or when they need an extra hand. I truly can’t express the joy I get from spending time with a happy four-legged friend. Whether it’s going for a long walk, playing in the yard, or simply keeping them company, I love getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. I currently work remotely from home so I have a very flexible schedule Monday-Friday. This leaves ample time to walk and play with fur friends. I am available Monday- Friday as needed for those that may have full time jobs away from home or need a little extra help during the day. I currently only offer dog walking so although your furry loved one will not be in my own home I bring years of experience walking dogs on leash or off. I know common dog commands and will follow any training techniques already in place for your animal.
About: I've always loved animals and have always had a pet. I have dogsat both puppies and senior dogs and am able to administer medications . I also have my masters in Reiki that I use on all the animals I look after. So usually the pet positions itself to enjoy the Reiki straight away. About: I have worked in animal medicine for 27 years and owned/operated my own pet sitting business. I love all animals and have cared for birds, pocket pets, dog and cats. I am comfortable giving oral/topical and injections (ex. Insulin). Two years ago I spent a year getting certified in animal hospice and palliative care.
