About: We are a mature couple who loves pets of all kinds - my partner is great at training puppies and young dogs too. We have a flexible schedule and plenty of space both inside and outside and we love a good long walk! Currently working freelance from home so lots of flexibility, time, and attention for your fur babies! Available at fairly short notice both weekdays and weekends and happy with early or late walks, drop offs and pick ups. We have a large unfenced yard backing onto lots of open woodlands and hills with tons of opportunity for good long walks. We also have a fully fenced multi level pool deck with lots of space for outdoor run around too. I am a Peachland loca: mobile, fit, young-ish, and childfree with most evenings and weekends open to dedicate to your pet(s) and their needs. as a long time dog owner i believe in positive reinforcement training and will encourage good behaviour by rewarding with pre-approved treats. I observe dog body language to only touch or cuddle as much, or as little, as your pet may want. I completely understand being away from you family can be unsettling so your pets comfort is my ultimate priority :)
About: I have worked in animal medicine for 27 years and owned/operated my own pet sitting business. I love all animals and have cared for birds, pocket pets, dog and cats. I am comfortable giving oral/topical and injections (ex. Insulin). Two years ago I spent a year getting certified in animal hospice and palliative care. I know leaving a little old timer at home is stressful and requires someone with advanced caregiving skills. I welcome dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents and small reptiles. I am working from home. Animals who are cared for in our home are rarely alone. I can be available for visits during daytime or evenings. I have a quarter acre fenced yard. We have a pug named Bruce and a border collie named Biscuit. We live in a bi-level home in a quiet neighbourhood close to hiking trails that we frequent often. Pocket pets enjoy their own room and birds are upstairs with outdoor lookout.
About: Trained Dog Groomer, Pet First Aid Certified, puppies and seniors are not a problem, medication administration, worked on dog farms ans hotels, dog massage and aromatherpay, pooper scooper, multiple dog walks and hikes, little and large dog training, and more. I have done it all. My current scheudle is flexible. Every morning I fill water dishes for neighbour cats and they have an affectionate moment with me throghout the day and garden with me.
