About: I've always had a deep care for animals, and have never met a pet that I didn't love (and that didn't love me)! I have lots of experience (unfortunately) with administering medications and caring for my own terminally ill rescue pets over the years. I am between jobs at the moment, so my schedule is wide open! I love to explore the valley, so I'm consistently between Westbank and Enderby scoping out new hiking spots. I will stay with your pet for as little or as much time as you'd like! I am a helicopter parent to my own pets, so I have no issue following whatever requests you have that might seem crazy to others.

About: I have a lifetime of experience working with all sorts of dogs, including puppies, elderly dogs and dogs requiring special care and/or medications. I am also experienced in dog training and grooming. I’m currently a student meaning I spend most of my time at home. Doing online classes can make it difficult to have typical a 9-5 job, being one of the reasons I started dog walking and sitting. As well as it being a passion I’ve had since a very early age. I have a home with a fenced in open space for your fur-babies. As well as many hiking trails located nearby for your pups to explore! Potty breaks every two hours as well as 2-4 walks a day.

My hope is to make sure that both dogs and owners are comfortable and happy with allowing me to take care of their pets while they are busy or away. Which is why I always meet pet parents before booking with me. I have owned and cared for puppies, adult and senior dogs. I treat all dogs as if they were my own. I promise, I will love and care for your pet with patience and compassion. I can walk dogs and check in on pets multiple times a day. I’m a student but doing all my schooling online so my schedule is very flexible. I care for pets in the same way I would care for my own and based on the instructions given by the owner. It is pet specific.

“Toni is amazing! She did drop off visits for my french bulldog for about 2 weeks. He’s a bougie little guy who gets his lunch meal prepped (due to pancreatitis) and heated up. She came by for about an hour everyday and fed him/ took him out. She also took the time to do drop by introduction before taking care of him. After the first visit he was waiting by the door looking for her the entire night when I get home. If I afford to hire her full time I would. Highly recommend trying her out if you need someone to care for your pets!”

About: I’ve grown up with animals in every shape and size, from dogs and cats to horses and alpacas. Regarding experience, I frequently house-sit friends and family members pets, including large breed dogs and cats. I have a senior dog of my own and thus have experience giving medications and adapting daily walks. On a personal level in my final year of studies at UBCO, and I am an avid hiker and shameless reader. I’m happy to hang out with your pup with a good cup of tea, or you have a high energy dog who needs a hike once a week, I’m your girl. I currently attend classes in Kelowna Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Friday afternoons I and am happy to drop in outside of lecture hours. I am available weekends, especially for longer walks as I love a good hike! I do not bring pets to my home and I do not bring my pets on walks, or to other people’s houses. Not because I wouldn’t love to, but simply because it stresses my old dog out too much. But, that just means more attention is given to the pet I’m visiting and/or walking! About: Cats have been a part of my life since I was seven years old, when my mom surprised me with my first kitten, and my love for them has only grown since then. I have more than 20 years of experience caring for cats, including fostering with the Okanagan Humane Society, in-home pet sitting, and fostering cats who ultimately became part of my family. I currently share my home with three former foster cats. I have a naturally calm and patient demeanour, and I often find that shy, nervous, or less-social cats will gravitate toward me. I take the time to get to know each cat’s personality, routine, and individual needs rather than expecting them to all behave the same way. I’m also comfortable providing hands-on care, including nail trims, bathing, and administering medication when needed. About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was a baby. If I could have a farm full of dogs, I would have it! Give me dogs over people any day. But I promise to still be awesome with you to make sure you are comfortable with me caring for your pup. I’m experienced with dogs who are still figuring out the leash world, senior dogs, jumpy dogs, pretty much all dogs! If your pup sleeps on the bed with you, they can sleep on the bed with me. Dogs are allowed couch cuddles in our household, but if that’s a no-no in your home, we will enforce that rule here too. Medications needed? I got you. I work from home and choose my hours so I have total flexibility to help care for your beloved pet while you’re away! Weekends are totally free for endless animal care. Morning or evening drop ins to feed and cuddle your cats. Or feed your fish, birds, Guinea pigs, bunnies, etc. I can clean cages and litter boxes so your pet has a clean space always. I can even clean your fish tank if needed! The way I care for your pets is to ask you how you want them cared for and I will do exactly that (and maybe a bit more because I can’t help myself sometimes). I want your pets to not be stressed because you’re gone. I want them to feel comfortable and happy. Your pets are a part of your family and because of that, they hold the utmost importance to me when they are in my care.
