“I am a new resident of the Northern Okanagan and prior to relocating when I would have a few days away from home I had family close by who would care for my cats, Norman and Lester. As typical when it is something new - I was excited that I found Debbie, but still a bit anxious at leaving the “boys” for an extended number of days. Well, I had nothing at all to worry about and I knew everything would be great when I met with the sitter and the cats came right over for hellos and pets. The daily snaps of both cats - looking at her as though they were looking at me - and being outside - which - thank you so much - was over and beyond what I had asked for and expected. I’ve been home an hour and both cats don’t care - they’ve had their attention needs taken care of by Debbie and I guess I’ll be the favourite again once the food dish is empty! Thank you so much Debbie for being so great!”

About: Hi! My name is Natasha and I’ve taken care of animals for most of my life. I’m experienced in handling pets of all sizes and ages. Whether you have a puppy who needs a playdate or a senior cat who just needs a bit of company, I’m happy to help! I work part time and my hours are fairly flexible, so I’m available during most times of the day. I can do half an hour or hour long visits, whatever your pet needs! For drop in visits, I can travel anywhere from Vernon to Salmon Arm. I have lots of experience with cats and dogs, and I’m comfortable with exotic pets as well.

About: I was raised on a farm with everything from chickens to giant Kangal dogs. Animal care has been a big part of my life. Both of my own dogs I have rescued and hand fed from birth. I have experience caring for reptiles, cats, puppies, large/small dog breeds and rabbits. I’ve spent the last few years caring for Armstrong friends’ and families’ farm animals and pets and I would love to do the same for you! I am available early mornings and evenings to help care for your furry friend. I can do walking lengths depending on your dog’s energy expenditure needs. I try to stick to the exact same routine that the pet(s) are used to from their owner (ie. direction of walks and walking style). I find this makes the animal the most comfortable with me and more likely to enjoy my company.

I wake up pretty early and I am available week days and week-ends! While I don’t have a fenced yard, I always supervise outdoor play closely and make sure pets stay safe. I take dogs on at least three walks a day and love going to the nearby dog park for exercise and social time. Your dog will be well cared for and never left unattended outside.

About: I’ve prepared meals for dogs who have sensitive stomachs & dietary restrictions. After meeting with the dog I will individualize the dogs care plan to the what they need. I’m currently working full time however I’m available in the mornings, evenings & full time on the weekends. Will also come and check on the animal on my breaks. I will love on your pooch with everything I have. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I wish I could have a dog of my own, but due to frequent traveling, it’s sadly not the right time for me.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for about 15 years. I grew up with 2 part German shepherds/Huskies with my family, and now have a beautiful Bernese mountain dog of my own who I love to pieces. Whether you need a vacation, a couple of hours of sitting, or just to take your pooch for a walk, I'm your girl! I'm currently working a casual but full time job. My hours are all over the place so depending on the day, I could do either days or nights if I'm in town. Which I am the majority of the time. If my calendar says I'm unavailable, I set it as a default as my current job is based on a day to day basis. So I still may be available depending on the day! I have a fenced yard, and there is also an enclosed dog park very close by, as well as a beach if your pup loves to swim. I also have a full grown Bernese who loves to meet new friends
