“Gina was excellent with Sadi she took the extra care to get to know her before introducing to her pups . Sadi has been left very little with other people and is very timid with other people and dogs . She was very content when we picked her up . We have already booked Gina for an overnight visit”

I’m retired so will be home with your pet I might have to go out for an odd errand, but you little guy wouldn’t be left longer than two hours I have a small fenced backyard for bathroom breaks, and lots of room for the little ones to tear around and play in the house

About: G'day everyone, Tina and I moved from Australia to Canada in 2022 with our senior dog Sandy who sadly passed away one month short of her 17th ( Oct 2025) birthday. We have always had a dog(s) in our lives though for a number of reasons have decided that Sandy will be the last dog we own. However we love having dogs around and thought dog sitting allows us the flexibility to travel and when home to have a dog(s) to play with, hang out with and enjoy the variety of personalities they display. We are non smokers and have a very large fully fenced yard for your pet(s) to explore - the beach (pixie) is a short drive down the road if they are swimmers and there are some nice dog parks that we used to take Sandy to close by. Tina and I work part time so it is rare that no one would be home when your pet(s) stay with us. With us they will enjoy cuddles, tummy rubs and lazing on the grass in the sun or lounging on the sofa looking at the lake. Semi retired couple who work part time (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) so more often then not your pet will not be home alone and and on the days that we are at work - due to our schedules it is only a few hours that they are by themselves. We are both non smokers. Our house is in two parts. We spend most of our time upstairs which is where your pet would also be which gives direct access to the front yard and then down the side to the back yard. The yard is large and fully fenced.
About: Hi Looking for a trustworthy companion for your furry friend while you’re away? I provide attentive, loving care tailored to your dog’s unique needs. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or cuddles, I ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved. I have owned 3 special dogs in my lifetime, 1 Dalmation and 2 Golden Retrievers and I am a Grandma to 2 fur babies. Two years ago my Golden, Bailey passed away and I miss not having a dog around. I take care off my kids dogs, Charlie and Lola for sleepovers occasionally. I love spending time with dogs and I love walking. Whether its a casual stroll, a longer walk, playing in the backyard or a swim in the lake, I will make sure your dog gets the exercise it needs. I am semi- retired and flexible with my time. So I'm available most times of the day and most days of the week or weekends. I live steps from Mara lake which is great if your dog loves swimming or running on the beach. I also have a large fenced backyard which is great for playing ball.
