About: Growing up on a farm I developed my love for animals. I’m a huge dog lover. Anytime I see a dog I always ask the owner if I can say hi. I love cuddles with daily hikes or walks, and my bed is always open for extra cuddles at night. Along with my two dogs, who love friends to come and play, I’m trustworthy, putting pets and their people at ease with reliable, conscientious care. With my husband and young adult kids living at home, there is always someone around for your furbaby to greet and play with. I work 4 days on and 4 days off. My husband works at home some days, and I have 2 adult children who go to school and come and go throughout the day. Someone is generally home most times of the day. I have a large fenced yard, with two dogs to run and play with. I as well have a dog door for the dogs to come and go outside to the yard as they please. My cat Bows doesn’t mind dogs and usually minds her own business. On most days my dogs go for a 5km walk or hike to get us all some excercise and fresh air. My bed is open to small dogs whom like to cuddle at night. We are an animal loving family who would love to watch others fur babies while giving them lots of love and attention.

Tamara was amazing! She was sending pictures of my dogs every day without me asking for them which I really appreciated. She’s the sweetest. Her and her partner left the house clean and tidy. I would have them again at home anytime!

Elizabeth and João were so amazing with our puppy! From the minute they arrived they made our dog feel comfortable and happy and loved and even helped with our kiddos as we were trying to pack up and get out of the house for our weekend getaway. We recieved photos of our dog on walks every day, and recieved many updates and check-ins throughout the weekend. Our house was left spotless. We couldn't have asked for better people to watch our dog and home. :)

About: My mum has a sheepadoodle who has I frequently look after by taking him out for walks and sitting and playing. I am very attentive to pets and give them lots of affection. I treat them like a member of the family. I have also looked after my mum's friends two dogs who are also sheeepadoodlea a few times and have a standing arrangement whenever she needs the help. I'd love to help you out with your pets! Message with any questions. I'm not working right now but actively looking for work. I would gladly take any pets during the week or on Sundays. I am also vegetarian for the animals. I also will be doing some volunteering during the week starting in Jan but largely free. Make sure they are comfy on the couch, have fresh water and have eaten recently. Play with them and talk to them. Let them wander the house within reason. Care for them by looking over them. Making sure they are safe.

Scott saved our Christmas (and my son's first Christmas) by helping us out with less than 12 hours of notice, and caring for our 2 large dogs at our home on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. He was so pleasant to work with and made us feel very comfortable with giving our keys over to someone we nor our dogs have ever met! We will absolutely rebook with Scott.

About: I have been living with dogs for roughly 25 years now, and am currently living with 2 dogs and 5 cats! I have roughly 1.5 years of experience working with dogs in boarding/day camps, where I cared for large groups of dogs, young and old, big and small. Provided meals, medication, baths, trail walks, etc.. I have a particular interest in animal behavior and training, which I enjoy practicing regularly. Currently living in Vernon, moving to Campbell River in April-May! I am currently working part-time and flexible with availability! More likely to be available afternoons/ evenings, but if I'm not working or already booked, I should be available! I am currently living with 2 dogs and 5 cats. The dogs are very friendly and great with others and the cats are quite used to the dogs as well. I may be able to do sitting in my home some days/ nights but having me come to your home is probably the better option!

Had Suki housesit my cat and dog on my recent holiday. Suki did a great job. The pets were happy and relaxed when I got home. The house was clean and tidy, and she left my bed made up and ready for me! Suki kept my flowering planters going thru the heat spell - and they looked amazing on my return. Communication was great with texts and pictures updating me along the way. I would recommend Suki for your pet and house care, and I wouldn't hesitate to ask her to sit for me in the future.

Alara was great with house sitting and caring for my two senior cats, one of whom needs twice daily insulin injections. I came home to two very chill kitties, and a home that was kept very clean and in order. I really appreciated it and I would have no hesitation in booking Alara for the next time we go away and want to feel at ease with leaving our pets.

About: Hi, I’m Cierra! A calm, reliable dog lover who your pup will probably adopt as their new best friend. I work primarily from home and regularly house sit, so your dog gets plenty of company, attention, and consistency throughout the day. I average 10–15k steps daily, which means I love having a walking buddy. Whether your dog needs long adventures, short sniff sniff walks, or structured outings to burn off energy, I’m here for it all! I genuinely care about animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. From puppies with the dickens to wise seniors. I follow routines closely, understand unique quirks, and make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and understood while you’re away. If your dog needs someone patient, present, and truly invested in their happiness, I’d love to be their second favourite human. I primarily work from home, which means your pets enjoy a consistent, reliable presence throughout the day. I’m able to follow your schedule closely, feeding times, walks, play sessions, medications, crate routines, bedtime rituals, or quiet time. I average 10–15k steps a day, so if your dog loves long walks or needs structured exercise, they’ll always get the activity they’re used to. For cats, I keep their routines steady and predictable, from meal prep to litter care to enrichment time at their own pace. I’m flexible with timing, mindful of energy levels, and happy to adapt to whatever rhythm your pet thrives on. Your schedule becomes our schedule, ensuring your animals stay grounded and comfortable while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my first priority. I take the responsibility of being in your home, and caring for your animals, very seriously. I follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and pay attention to the small details that keep pets feeling secure. Whether your animal needs slow introductions, careful monitoring, medication, or just someone grounded and calm in the house, I make sure they’re cared for with the same level of attention I give my own pets. I’m respectful of your space, your boundaries, and your pet’s boundaries. You can expect clear communication and regular updates, so you’re never left wondering how things are going. My goal is to create a peaceful, safe environment where your pets feel comfortable, understood, and stress free while you’re away.

About: I have had 4-legged animals for most of my life. I also know CPR for Animals and I am certified and have a Nursing Background. . . I am currently retired. I have had dogs and cats almost my entire life. I have a nursing background and I’ve also taken CPR for dogs and cats. I love animals and now that I have more time off I find myself looking after my friends and neighbour's dogs. Up until just a few weeks ago when I lost my little girl… I find I have way too much time on my hands and really miss four-legged companions. Warning… I will treat your babies like I treat my own. They will be loved, pampered and cared for. I will respect your wishes if there are certain things you don’t want them to have or if you’re trying to train them I will follow your instructions on what you want for them. But I hope you’re not going to mind when I spoil them just a little bit. I was also involved in the SPCA in the lower mainland and help them out when they needed someone. I have a fenced yard. I’m not too far from Mutrie Park. Depending on the Pet parents whether they would like me to come to them or if they’re fine with them staying with me. When they’re here, they have full range of the house which is pet proof….

Geyllynne was wonderful. Very hospitable, friendly, and easy-going when we first met for coffee. Asking the right questions to be well prepared for my first time pet sitting experience for my cat. She was very communicative throughout her whole stay at my home and sent photos and videos of my fur baby frequently. Home was immaculate when I returned after 1 week and her and and my 😺 were there to greet me at my door when I returned I would 100% recommend her and will definitely reach out to her again on my next journey as I know my baby will be well taken care of.

Kelly literally saved our lives by taking our booking with short notice (our previous sitters got covid last minute). She was great with our high maintenance puppy, Kevin. She kept up communication which helped alot as it was our first time being without him. Kelley went above and beyond to ensure Kevin was well looked after. He came home safe and sound well fed and exercised.

We have had Edward stay at our place to watch out senior dog Zoey a few times now and he is always great to work with, and we always come back to a happy pup! Edward even took care of watering all the plants, kept the hot tub working, and even helped with our airport drop off and pick up which was awesome. We highly recommend having him watch your pets and place anytime :)

About: I have worked in animal medicine for 27 years and owned/operated my own pet sitting business. I love all animals and have cared for birds, pocket pets, dog and cats. I am comfortable giving oral/topical and injections (ex. Insulin). Two years ago I spent a year getting certified in animal hospice and palliative care. I know leaving a little old timer at home is stressful and requires someone with advanced caregiving skills. I welcome dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents and small reptiles. I am working from home. Animals who are cared for in our home are rarely alone. I can be available for visits during daytime or evenings. I have a quarter acre fenced yard. We have a pug named Bruce and a border collie named Biscuit. We live in a bi-level home in a quiet neighbourhood close to hiking trails that we frequent often. Pocket pets enjoy their own room and birds are upstairs with outdoor lookout.
