On our walks I will take your dog on a hike, a less intense nature walk, or even stay more in urban areas depending on yours and your pets preference if known. At your home I can take your pet for bathroom breaks, clean up messes, provide feedings and water, scoop cat litter and poop outside and play with them to keep the active and stimulated!

He even came over the night before to meet with us as it was our first time leaving our dog with anyone overnight. He was so great with Lottie and kept her so busy while we were gone, we came back and she was so excited to see us but she was super tired from all the hikes she got to go on, this morning she didn’t even want to wake up she needed some extra sleep. We will definitely be booking with him the next time we need someone to watch her and would recommend him to anyone!”

About: I have a lifetime of experience working with all sorts of dogs, including puppies, elderly dogs and dogs requiring special care and/or medications. I am also experienced in dog training and grooming. I’m currently a student meaning I spend most of my time at home. Doing online classes can make it difficult to have typical a 9-5 job, being one of the reasons I started dog walking and sitting. As well as it being a passion I’ve had since a very early age. I have a home with a fenced in open space for your fur-babies. As well as many hiking trails located nearby for your pups to explore! Potty breaks every two hours as well as 2-4 walks a day.

About: A mother and son duo: responsibility and energy in caring. What more can a dog want! We will only care for 2 pets at a time, let your dog be the spoiled one! Is your dog high energy? My 14 year old son is gentle, responsible and can keep up with the demands of any high energy dog. This is our p/t job of choice! I am a stay at home mom and online teacher. We are a great tag-team! Your dog will have all day and all night companionship. Must be o.k. with cats, however, as we have 2 in the house. Small and medium sized dogs only please. I work from home online during the week so dogs get plenty of lap time and continuous companionship available. At night your pet can sleep in our bedroom to make him/her feel as though they are part of the family. We have a fenced yard, with plenty of shade, and a spot under my desk if that is what makes a dog feel more comfortable.

About: I bring hands-on experience with puppy and kitten development, training, reactivity management, socialization, agility training and pets medical, dietary and behavioural needs. I’m observant, patient and comfortable adapting care to each animal’s temperament and routine. I have owned and cared for dogs from Boston terriers to Pitbull Sharpeis, and have managed through every obstacle possible with two sassy rescue cats, as well as provided pet sitting and boarding in my network, many times through the years. Most recently I provided daily walks, drop ins and training sessions to my neighbour and his Husky pup for 3mo earlier this year. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I’m currently flexible and available for house sitting, drop-ins and walks. I’m comfortable building my day around a pet’s established feeding, exercise, training and care routine. I prioritize a calm, clean and secure environment, following your instructions and keeping pets’ routines as consistent as possible. About: I have owned at least one dog for 20 years and have fostered dogs for the last 15 years. We excel at chilling and enjoying the outdoors (walking/hiking). I am open to pup sitting 7 days a week, at your house or mine. I will take great care of your pet like it is my own! As a recent retiree, I have flexible time to take care of your pup(s). I am available 7 days a week and will care for your dog like it is my own...and mine are pretty spoiled. Although I do not have a yard, I enjoy walking my dogs and playing with them inside and out. My 2 dogs are easy going and will keep your pup company. My house is really a big dog house. They are allowed to snuggle on a dog bed or on the couch.

I am willing to follow your pet's home routine as closely as possible, and am able to crate your pet when I do leave them alone, if that is your preference.

About: As a social work student, I believe all behaviour is a form of communication, regardless of species. Therefore, I have an absolute, unconditional love for all animals, and have been a pet owner my entire life. After a 3 year hiatus, I am back on rover! I have a few years of formal experience, though have been providing dog walking, house/pet sitting, and feeding/bathing help for my neighbors and friends for a combined total of 20 years. I am a diverse provider, in that I take care of all types of animals, with specialization in reactive/anxious animals! I have been told I have a patient, calming, reassuring, and playful energy, which can help both initial meetings and ongoing interactions. I have also had experience with other animals, such as cats, rodents, birds, and more! This may mean a walk could include some playtime, jogging, socialization, and any other needs you may have. Currently, I am in school from 11-5 Mondays and Thursdays, though am flexible otherwise and am always willing to accommodate! Unfortunately I don’t have space in my home, but I am more than willing to take care of your pets in yours! Within the community, I ensure that walking locations are extremely safe and secure, taking into account a pup’s sensitivities, i.e. other dogs, children, etc. while also making sure that the owner is satisfied with the walk. This may mean a walk could include some playtime, jogging, socialization, and any other needs you may have. Regarding the home, I always leave your home the way I found it, and always follow your instructions precisely. Safety, trust, and respect, are three components that I take very seriously when looking after any animal, therefore if I have any questions, I always reach out, as I feel that there should always be an open dialogue between myself and the owner!

About: I've had experience caring for many pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, and birds. I've also cared for several pets of my own, so I'm used to feeding schedules, playtime, grooming, and giving lots of love! I can adapt to each animals personality and requirements. I treat every pet like they're my own and always make sure they're well looked after! I am currently working part-time and will be starting an online course through TRU in September, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care! I am able to easily work pet care into my daily/weekly routine and can be flexible with walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I stick to each pets usual routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and at ease. I follow all care instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, walks, potty breaks, and any other specific needs depending on the pet. My biggest priority is that your pets are happy and cared for in their own environment while also being respectful and mindful of your home and belongings.
