Alara was great with house sitting and caring for my two senior cats, one of whom needs twice daily insulin injections. I came home to two very chill kitties, and a home that was kept very clean and in order. I really appreciated it and I would have no hesitation in booking Alara for the next time we go away and want to feel at ease with leaving our pets.

About: Hello! I’m Alexandra. I am a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets. I bring a calm, reliable approach to pet sitting, along with a background in both medical and behavioral care that allows me to support pets with a wide range of needs. Over the years, I’ve raised, minded, trained, and cared for everything from bouncy puppies, cantankerous cats, to fragile senior pets. I am skilled in administering subcutaneous fluids, injections, and oral medications, and I’ve supported paralyzed animals with their daily hygiene and comfort. I have also provided end-of-life care with gentleness and compassion, ensuring that pets feel safe and loved at every stage of life. As a rescue advocate, I have worked with a variety of animals experiencing anxiety, reactivity, and high energy. I always focus on patience, structure, and positive engagement. I strive to pay close attention to body language and subtle signals, which helps me to connect with pets who may be shy, nervous, or misunderstood. Aside from medical or behavioral needs, I believe in the little things like walks at the right pace, enrichment that keeps pets interested and engaged, and those quiet moments of affection that help them feel secure. Every animal has their own personality, and I love tailoring my care so they can truly thrive. My time is flexible at the moment and I am willing work around your specific schedules and needs. I look forward to building strong bonds and long term relationships with you and your pets! Day Care Services: Walks, hikes, dog park trips, and vet visits — always tailored to each dog’s needs and energy level. I can be with your dog one-on-one or provide company and play time by bringing along my dog Molly. Molly is gentle and patient with puppies and has a consistent temperment. She is more likely to meander companiably or parallel play than she is to tussle so is the perfect companion for your senior pup or your more reactive dog that needs positive experiences with other dogs. In-Home Care (Dogs): Offered only once I’ve built a relationship and know the dog is safe with my cats and rabbits. In-Home Care (Small Pets): Rabbits or other small animals welcome for day care/overnights if penned. Outdoor Safety: Backyard is enclosed but not fully secure at the back — all outdoor time is supervised. Front yard is unfenced, so dogs are always leashed.

Elizabeth and Joao were amazing. They sent us pictures and updates that made us feel at ease. Our dog needs activity and we felt like they took great care of her and gave her lots of walks. I know they did a good job, because our little scaredy cat came out of hiding. They were respectful and tidy in our home. Very trustworthy!

About: Hello there! my name is Amira, and I am a passionate animal lover with years of experience in dog sitting and caring for various breeds and personalities. I had dogs and cats since a very young age and displayed a profound interest in learning about the different breed's characteristics, as well as about how to interact, play and create a bond with them. Throughout the years of experience and dedication I have developed skills and ease on how to naturally establish complicity with animals, as well as how to adjust my approach and care to the dog's character. I understand that each dog is unique and has specific needs, and I am dedicated to providing personalized care tailored to your preferences and requirements and can easily establish complicity with them. I know how to train dogs to learn the basics. I also have some experience with dogs displaying behavioral issues and will gladly provide some tricks to help the dog improve, be less anxious or nervous when they see other mates. I'm flexible; I am willing to accommodate your schedule and your dog's routine to provide a stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I genuinely love dogs and will treat your pet with the same love and care as if they were my own. You can count on me to be punctual, reliable and responsible in providing care for your pet. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss your dog's needs and schedule a meet-and-greet. I can't wait to meet your furry friend and provide them with love and attention and tailored care. Thank you for considering me as your dog sitter. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your beloved pet! Amira Im currently only working part-time and only from Thursday to Saturday from 10.00 to 3.00 pm. I have plenty of time to look after, care and play with your pup. A typical playful day of care involves engaging activities, attention, and lots of love to ensure your pup is happy, well cared for and relaxed while you're away. I always offer a Free Meet & Greet session before taking in a dog, which can be scheduled prior to the sit dates if you wish to make you and your dog more comfortable and ensure that care is tailored and suited to their needs.

Carlea was great ! She sent me lots of photos and kept me updated about the pets which was wonderful because we were nervous about leaving the pets with a new person in a new house. She left the place tidy including washing the bedding and towels . She also left a goodie basket for us including homemade pet treats. Her children were very cute and seemed to like the pets too.

About: Hi, I’m Cierra! A calm, reliable dog lover who your pup will probably adopt as their new best friend. I work primarily from home and regularly house sit, so your dog gets plenty of company, attention, and consistency throughout the day. I average 10–15k steps daily, which means I love having a walking buddy. Whether your dog needs long adventures, short sniff sniff walks, or structured outings to burn off energy, I’m here for it all! I genuinely care about animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. From puppies with the dickens to wise seniors. I follow routines closely, understand unique quirks, and make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and understood while you’re away. If your dog needs someone patient, present, and truly invested in their happiness, I’d love to be their second favourite human. I primarily work from home, which means your pets enjoy a consistent, reliable presence throughout the day. I’m able to follow your schedule closely, feeding times, walks, play sessions, medications, crate routines, bedtime rituals, or quiet time. I average 10–15k steps a day, so if your dog loves long walks or needs structured exercise, they’ll always get the activity they’re used to. For cats, I keep their routines steady and predictable, from meal prep to litter care to enrichment time at their own pace. I’m flexible with timing, mindful of energy levels, and happy to adapt to whatever rhythm your pet thrives on. Your schedule becomes our schedule, ensuring your animals stay grounded and comfortable while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my first priority. I take the responsibility of being in your home, and caring for your animals, very seriously. I follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and pay attention to the small details that keep pets feeling secure. Whether your animal needs slow introductions, careful monitoring, medication, or just someone grounded and calm in the house, I make sure they’re cared for with the same level of attention I give my own pets. I’m respectful of your space, your boundaries, and your pet’s boundaries. You can expect clear communication and regular updates, so you’re never left wondering how things are going. My goal is to create a peaceful, safe environment where your pets feel comfortable, understood, and stress free while you’re away.

We have had Edward stay at our place to watch out senior dog Zoey a few times now and he is always great to work with, and we always come back to a happy pup! Edward even took care of watering all the plants, kept the hot tub working, and even helped with our airport drop off and pick up which was awesome. We highly recommend having him watch your pets and place anytime :)

About: 🐾 What Sets Me Apart 🐾 I have had pets my whole life. Since I was a young child. We always had dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters and fish. I loved taking care of them but since getting older I have not had a chance to have my own as I generally am in rentals that don't allow pets so I love to look after others when they are away. I treat every pet like my own, catering to their unique needs, routines and quirks. I am experienced & trustworthy – I have years of experience with dogs & cats of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. Clients often call me the pet whisperer as their pet comes to me willingly when they might not with others because of my calm, gentle and grounded personality. As a trauma recovery coach specializing in nervous system regulation, I create a soothing and safe environment for pets, especially anxious or rescue animals. I take your dogs on engaging walks, engage in interactive play with your pets and give mindful attention to their well-being, not just basic care. I am flexible & reliable – I work around your schedule to ensure stress-free pet care. I work from home as I am a Trauma Recovery Coach so I see my clients online. I generally help clients regulate their nervous system or give them mindfulness practices. So I am often doing meditations with them or calming sessions with them. I take breaks in between clients and go for walks so can be sure to give your pet the extra attention it needs. I generally go to your home to take care of your pet. I do have a yard with a fence right now though which is helpful.

About: I have worked in animal medicine for 27 years and owned/operated my own pet sitting business. I love all animals and have cared for birds, pocket pets, dog and cats. I am comfortable giving oral/topical and injections (ex. Insulin). Two years ago I spent a year getting certified in animal hospice and palliative care. I know leaving a little old timer at home is stressful and requires someone with advanced caregiving skills. I welcome dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents and small reptiles. I am working from home. Animals who are cared for in our home are rarely alone. I can be available for visits during daytime or evenings. I have a quarter acre fenced yard. We have a pug named Bruce and a border collie named Biscuit. We live in a bi-level home in a quiet neighbourhood close to hiking trails that we frequent often. Pocket pets enjoy their own room and birds are upstairs with outdoor lookout.
