Day Care Services: Walks, hikes, dog park trips, and vet visits — always tailored to each dog’s needs and energy level. I can be with your dog one-on-one or provide company and play time by bringing along my dog Molly. Molly is gentle and patient with puppies and has a consistent temperment. She is more likely to meander companiably or parallel play than she is to tussle so is the perfect companion for your senior pup or your more reactive dog that needs positive experiences with other dogs. In-Home Care (Dogs): Offered only once I’ve built a relationship and know the dog is safe with my cats and rabbits. In-Home Care (Small Pets): Rabbits or other small animals welcome for day care/overnights if penned. Outdoor Safety: Backyard is enclosed but not fully secure at the back — all outdoor time is supervised. Front yard is unfenced, so dogs are always leashed.

Since I work in the pet industry your dog will either be with me at work or at home with me. For those that are dog selective I have the ability to keep them separate in my home and be home with them for the day. I will give each and every dog unconditional love and tend to each dogs needs individually, as not every dog requires the same routine and schedule .those that require a crate at night can be provided with one and those that are able to free roam the home have that option.

I generally help clients regulate their nervous system or give them mindfulness practices. So I am often doing meditations with them or calming sessions with them. About: I have worked in animal medicine for 27 years and owned/operated my own pet sitting business. I love all animals and have cared for birds, pocket pets, dog and cats. I am comfortable giving oral/topical and injections (ex. Insulin). Two years ago I spent a year getting certified in animal hospice and palliative care. I know leaving a little old timer at home is stressful and requires someone with advanced caregiving skills. I welcome dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents and small reptiles. I am working from home. Animals who are cared for in our home are rarely alone. I can be available for visits during daytime or evenings. I have a quarter acre fenced yard. We have a pug named Bruce and a border collie named Biscuit. We live in a bi-level home in a quiet neighbourhood close to hiking trails that we frequent often. Pocket pets enjoy their own room and birds are upstairs with outdoor lookout.
