About: I take passion in animals. I love to get to know there characteristics. Dogs have their own language, and it’s very interesting to me! Your pup will love me. I have a short week every second week at my job. I enjoy walking dogs So why not help out others!! Plus I really enjoy meeting other dogs. I will always make sure your animal is safe !! I would never leave them unless I’m sure there ok! I take passion in working with animals especially dogs.
About: I have been a dog and cat owner for 25+ years. I currently have two cats of my own and understand the importance on checking in on them when you are away! I can provide cuddles, playing, litter-box changes etc. to make them feel comfortable. I have an active lifestyle and can keep your dog entertained and healthy throughout walks, runs, cuddling, and brushing. I have most experience with larger dogs (golden retrievers and huskies for example), but also am comfortable with all sizes of dogs. I understand the importance of building a relationship of trust with dogs and how to make sure they feel loved as well. I look forward to making some new furry friends! I work part-time and am mostly available in the evenings + weekends. Please message me for more details. My schedule posted is up to date. I am currently not offering pet sitting in my own home. I care for pets by frequent bathroom breaks, brushing, playing and cuddling of course.
“Felix and Rachel are amazing and reliable dog walkers. They have been walking my 3 year old Labrador retriever for a few months now. They send helpful pictures and updates, and help feed the doggo once in awhile too! They put a lot of effort into the walks, sometimes bringing my dog to a dog park or a nearby lake for some swimming. Highly recommend them :)”

About: The dog skill of staying aware of my surroundings has taught me everything I need to know to continue living a stress free life with my dog. All dogs are different and I can show them a comfortable attitude while providing some healthy exercise. My schedule is open to fit your needs at the moment and I can commute near my home quickly in a car for emergencies. Since we live in a tough environment I will come prepared for the weather appropriately. I usually take my dog out 3 to 4 times per day which includes picking up poop and learning of basic tricks. She is 5 but strong as labradors are because of their size.
“We were very happy with our experience! Our dog was clearly comfortable, well cared for, and genuinely happy during their stay. Morgon's communication with us was great with regular updates and photos. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend her.”

About: I have worked in animal medicine for 27 years and owned/operated my own pet sitting business. I love all animals and have cared for birds, pocket pets, dog and cats. I am comfortable giving oral/topical and injections (ex. Insulin). Two years ago I spent a year getting certified in animal hospice and palliative care. I know leaving a little old timer at home is stressful and requires someone with advanced caregiving skills. I welcome dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents and small reptiles. I am working from home. Animals who are cared for in our home are rarely alone. I can be available for visits during daytime or evenings. I have a quarter acre fenced yard. We have a pug named Bruce and a border collie named Biscuit. We live in a bi-level home in a quiet neighbourhood close to hiking trails that we frequent often. Pocket pets enjoy their own room and birds are upstairs with outdoor lookout.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Lumby choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
