About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them and have owned Dobermans since 2006, raising all three of mine from eight-week-old puppies. My current girl, Poppy, is almost six and is my absolute world! Over the years, I’ve experienced just about every stage of dog ownership, from the endless energy and mischief of puppyhood to the slower pace and changing needs of senior dogs. I’ve also cared for my dogs through serious illnesses, surgeries, and lengthy recoveries. Those experiences have taught me a lot about patience, compassion, and recognizing when a dog needs a little extra care. I’ve also spent plenty of time walking and looking after friends’ and neighbours’ dogs, including Labs, Golden Retrievers, Doodles, Corgis, Shibas, Shih Tzus, and more. I’m comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes, including large, energetic breeds. One thing I know from Poppy is that going for a walk is often the highlight of a dog’s day! Whether it’s a brisk walk to burn off some energy or a leisurely adventure with plenty of sniff stops, I want every dog I walk to feel like they’ve had the best day ever. I know how particular I am about who I trust with Poppy, and I’ll always treat your dog with the same kindness, patience, and attention I’d want someone to give mine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be available for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I love being active and spending time outdoors, so fitting a few extra walks into my day is something I genuinely look forward to! I’m happy to accommodate regular weekly walks or occasional visits when life gets busy, your workday runs long, or your dog could simply use a little extra attention. I know how much trust it takes to have someone care for your dog, especially when you’re not home. I feel exactly the same way about Poppy! For walks, I’ll come to your home, follow your dog’s usual routine, and take them on a safe, on-leash walk around their own neighbourhood. I don’t transport dogs or take them to off-leash parks. For drop-in visits, I’m happy to handle feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, playtime, and plenty of affection, depending on what your dog needs. I’ll always respect your home, follow your instructions, and make sure your dog is comfortable and safely settled before I leave. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you know how they’re doing. I prefer to meet new dogs and their owners beforehand so everyone feels comfortable and we can go over any routines, quirks, or special needs.

About: I've had experience caring for many pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, and birds. I've also cared for several pets of my own, so I'm used to feeding schedules, playtime, grooming, and giving lots of love! I can adapt to each animals personality and requirements. I treat every pet like they're my own and always make sure they're well looked after! I am currently working part-time and will be starting an online course through TRU in September, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care! I am able to easily work pet care into my daily/weekly routine and can be flexible with walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I stick to each pets usual routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and at ease. I follow all care instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, walks, potty breaks, and any other specific needs depending on the pet. My biggest priority is that your pets are happy and cared for in their own environment while also being respectful and mindful of your home and belongings. I'm always happy to send regular updates and photos so you feel reassured that your pets are doing well!

About: I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs, and have grown up around them. I’m very close with my family dog, Kaia, a 14 year old bichon Shih Tzu. I have many years of hands on experience caring for her, including attending puppy training classes together, she has taught me patience, kindness, and how important it is to make a dog feel loved safe and comfortable. I’m caring, and responsible and genuinely enjoy taking dogs for walks, playing with them, and giving them plenty of attention. I hope to have a dog of my own one day so caring for other people’s pets is something I truly enjoy and take great pride in. Very available weekends, afternoons, and evenings. About: I bring hands-on experience with puppy and kitten development, training, reactivity management, socialization, agility training and pets medical, dietary and behavioural needs. I’m observant, patient and comfortable adapting care to each animal’s temperament and routine. I have owned and cared for dogs from Boston terriers to Pitbull Sharpeis, and have managed through every obstacle possible with two sassy rescue cats, as well as provided pet sitting and boarding in my network, many times through the years. Most recently I provided daily walks, drop ins and training sessions to my neighbour and his Husky pup for 3mo earlier this year. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I’m currently flexible and available for house sitting, drop-ins and walks. I’m comfortable building my day around a pet’s established feeding, exercise, training and care routine. I prioritize a calm, clean and secure environment, following your instructions and keeping pets’ routines as consistent as possible. About: Enjoy spending time with all types of pets big and small, have experience grooming trimming and bathing dogs and cats, currently dealing with a newly blind dog helping him figure out its his surroundings. I'm currently my scheduling is opening up due to retiring employer, I should have lots of availability for dog walking and Pet home check ins always making sure there is food and fresh water, keeping doorways secured and unsafe items out of reach, knowing proper emergency contact information/vet locations and any medication requirements

About: I have a lifetime of experience working with all sorts of dogs, including puppies, elderly dogs and dogs requiring special care and/or medications. I am also experienced in dog training and grooming. I’m currently a student meaning I spend most of my time at home. Doing online classes can make it difficult to have typical a 9-5 job, being one of the reasons I started dog walking and sitting. As well as it being a passion I’ve had since a very early age. I have a home with a fenced in open space for your fur-babies. As well as many hiking trails located nearby for your pups to explore! Potty breaks every two hours as well as 2-4 walks a day.

About: I have owned at least one dog for 20 years and have fostered dogs for the last 15 years. We excel at chilling and enjoying the outdoors (walking/hiking). I am open to pup sitting 7 days a week, at your house or mine. I will take great care of your pet like it is my own! As a recent retiree, I have flexible time to take care of your pup(s). I am available 7 days a week and will care for your dog like it is my own...and mine are pretty spoiled. Although I do not have a yard, I enjoy walking my dogs and playing with them inside and out. My 2 dogs are easy going and will keep your pup company. My house is really a big dog house. They are allowed to snuggle on a dog bed or on the couch.

About: We had a beautiful Golden Retriever 2013-2025 who went everywhere with me and was never left alone. I loved being with him, caring for him and other friends pets, walking, brushing, veterinary drop offs and collections as well as caring for elderly dogs too. I love all dogs. Will be with the dogs all day in my home and we have beautiful trails right at our doorstep for quick walks or longer hikes. Happy to be slower if dogs are older or small or longer if they have lots of energy. I work from home so pets would never be left alone, I have set up my work to fit in with caring for our own pet as a priority. Have looked after our own dog and walked 4-5 times daily with shorter potty breaks and longer excercise trips for 12 years. I have no fenced yard but have a provincial park and walking trails directly at my door so walking is never a problem. My own golden retriever will go outside for a variety of mini walks and a longer walk daily or we can take the car to other parks if requested.

About: I’ve grown up my whole life with two dogs, big and small, so I know just how important your furry friends are. Since I was 10 years old i’ve taken care of all types of dogs, and I am comfortable providing any type of care. I am a huge animal lover and have had much experience taking care of cats, rabbits, and even reptiles! I am currently in school studying a major in Biology and a minor in Zoology with hopes to spend much of my time around animals. As a dedicated student and lifelong animal enthusiast, I provide attentive, trustworthy care for your furry friends while you’re away. I am more than comfortable house/dog sitting over multiple nights and would love to have a companion in the house! Before caring for your pet, I will hope to be made aware of any special care necessary so I can be prepared and care for your pet in the best way possible. I am currently a student athlete on the women’s volleyball team, studying at UBC Okanagan. This means that most of my time is spent at the school in class, or in the gym. That being said, I do need your pet to be able to be left for longer hours throughout the day and possibly alright late in to the evening. I would plan to discuss my schedule with you in detail so that there is full understanding on when I will be around for overnight care etc. I am always open to discuss the best times needed for a walk around the block with your furry friend. With that in mind, the amount of time your pet is able to stay alone will be the most important question before I am able to provide my care. I have a fenced yard and a lovely german shepherd to keep your fur baby company. There is no crate, but am able to bring one into my home so your dog can sleep peacefully.
