About: I am the first person most family, friends or neighbours call when they need someone to keep an eye on their home and their beloved pets. I have owned pets since I was young. So I am comfortable around dogs, cats, small animals and fish tanks. Apart from the usual diet and exercise expected, I have experience administering meds for cats and dogs (pills & needles) if required. I have fun trying to teach dogs how to dance! I frequently housesit for extended periods during the winter months, keeping your home safe and warm while you enjoy the warmth of a faraway beach. If I am housesitting I will be around all day, for other pet care I can do visits on a schedule that works best for you. I will follow any safety precautions set out by the owners. The safety of your pets, your house and my own safety are top priority.

My dog is the friendliest and loves playing with other dogs and any animal really! I have a big fenced in yard and live downtown Penticton close to the beaches, hiking trails and the off leash dog beach! About: Have owned many dogs and cats in my lifetime. Also horses, cattle, sheep and chickens. Cared for an ill newborn calf and kept him under my care until his health was restored after ten days. Also house sat while caring for three large dogs who needed daily medications administered for three months while owner was out of the country. I am available to feed, water, walk, change litter and give attention and play with pets whenever they require. I can be available on short notice. I no longer have a fenced yard but am willing to come to your home daily or multiple times daily to check on the welfare of your beloved pets.

About: My love for animals took root at a very young age, and has just grown steadily over time. I grew up in east Kelowna. We were raised with dogs, horses, chickens, cats. Later on in life it expanded to kids, geckos and fish as well as more horses and dogs and cats. I had a litter of puppies while pregnant ( that was a challenge near the end lol ) as well as nursed many animals back to health. My favorite part about dogs is they are genuine ( for the most part) lol and can read a human instantly. Some may take a little time to fullly decide but for the most part, they can sense the purity of your soul. They will be your best friend for life and will never turn their back on you. My life has taken a big curve and i haven't owned a dog for a few years. I have been " Aunty M " ( sometimes called mom to those who don't have one) to many animals since then. Especially to the ones who may feel a little neglected or for reasons beyond control they don't have a constant human. People need to work and some have jobs out of town. I am the one they turn to because animals enjoy me as much as I enjoy them. They are my weakness, I will always have a soft spot just for them. I also took care of a household ( garden. yard) with 3 kids 3 dogs 2 cats and 2 geckos while doing renos before selling the house. I know a little bit about everything and love to learn as much as i can if I don't know. I currently am unemployed trying to decide which direction to go in .... further education around animals or entry level jobs that mostly deal with sick animals that dont pay that great. I haven't been in the "work force" for a while as I was a mom and aunty first. Now i have time and freedom and no animals to love lol. So i will take as much as i can get of my furry four legged friends. I also love exercise that doesn't feel like exercise ... Walking, playing, swimming or running in a park. I am moving at the end of April although not far from where i am now. I will have a yard and a safe, comfortable calm space for any pets that need one. Or i like new environments and exploring or if your pet feels more comfortable in their space Or you just need peace of mind that your property and home are looked after, I am respectful mindful and love tomato plants! lol as well as whatever else might be growing
