I’m patient, observant, and calm, which helps pets feel safe, especially puppies who are still learning and seniors who need gentler, more attentive care. My routine is built around doing what’s right for the pets I care for. I plan my days to ensure reliability, consistency, and calm, so each pet feels safe and well cared for in their own home. I prioritize safety, routine, and respect. I follow care instructions carefully, maintain a calm, secure environment, and stay attentive to each pet’s physical and emotional needs. Trust matters—to both pets and people.

About: I grew up around dogs, cats and different animals and have had many pets including rabbits, gerbils, fish and a cat. I have been a go-to pet sitter for my friends' and mutual friends' cats, dogs and rabbits. I'm always open to learning more about different kinds of pets including exotics and pasture animals. ​ I have a flexible schedule and am available for overnight pet sitting, check ins and dog walking 7 days a week. Pet-sitting is currently my main job. I bond with animals on their terms and am very good with following specific instructions. I am experienced with reading cat, dog and rabbit body language and verbal cues. I have some experience caring for certain exotic and farm animals. ​I'm always happy to help with home tasks when doing drop-ins or housesitting like bringing in your mail, taking out the trash, or watering plants while you're away!

“Eva was fantastic! She took such good care of our home, our dog and two cats while we were away. We have an Australian Shepherd that needs lots of exercise and Eva took her on so many great hikes! She was sure to send us lots of picture updates of all the animals which we appreciated. They all looked so happy and content with her. The house was clean and my flower pots in great condition when we got home . We felt our animals were in very good hands and will definitely be booking her again when the time comes. About: I have had the privilege of taking care of my own high energy dog, Luna, for 8 years. She has taught me all about caring for animals, such as what counts as a good walk, which treats are the best, how important belly rubs are, and that the couch is a shared space. I have trained her to have a strong recall as we go for many off leash walks. I also have experience training the basic obediences as puppies and teenage dogs, giving medication, and following medical procedure pre-cautions and guidelines. My neighbours have also asked me to look after and care for their pets along the way as well. I’m hoping to bring my knowledge of taking care of her to the dogs in town and give them the best walks and care. I’m currently a masters student with plenty of time to go on walks and explore the parks. I am used to fitting in two 1 hour walks per day and exploring different parks around the city. I am also a reliable student that can house sit while you are away. I am happy to adapt to you and your pups schedule and preferences as needed! I can easily adapt to you and your pups routine throughout our time together. If you have a favourite park I will be happy to take your pup there. If they have a bed time routine or eat only one brand of food and treats, I will honour that as well. I look forward to meeting you and learning all about your pup and their routine!

“As far as we are concerned Magdala is a dog whisperer. We have an extremely timid Shih-tzu we got during Covid. She has never been left alone. We tried some doggy daycares but she was very stressed out. Magdala came over for a meet and greet and Pepper spent the whole time by her side. That has never happened! Today Magdala came to our place to look after Pepper all day and after the initial excitement of us coming home she is totally relaxed. 5 stars all the way!!!”

About: Have owned many dogs and cats in my lifetime. Also horses, cattle, sheep and chickens. Cared for an ill newborn calf and kept him under my care until his health was restored after ten days. Also house sat while caring for three large dogs who needed daily medications administered for three months while owner was out of the country. I am available to feed, water, walk, change litter and give attention and play with pets whenever they require. I can be available on short notice. I no longer have a fenced yard but am willing to come to your home daily or multiple times daily to check on the welfare of your beloved pets.

About: I have had both dogs and cats since I was a small child. I’ve volunteered at the SPCA for years and have a 4 year old dog and 23 year old cat who I absolutely adore. I am an animal lover with a 6th sense for communicating and interacting with all animals. I am always out on adventures and would love to take your doggy along or board them overnight. My dog is the friendliest and loves playing with other dogs and any animal really! I have a big fenced in yard and live downtown Penticton close to the beaches, hiking trails and the off leash dog beach! I am currently available 7 days a week for dog/puppy/cat sitting, dog walks/adventures and doggy/cat boarding and visits! Monday-Sunday. Happy to watch your little fur ball! I have a big fenced in yard with a friendly dog who loves playing with other dogs. He’s amazing with cats and small animals. I live right on the KVR and easy excess to many adventures for your doggy!

She showed up on time, she settled him from his separation anxiety quite quickly, she provided us photos and updates by text message while we were at a wedding. When we were checking out of the Inn the next day, the host mentioned that she saw her walking Lambo around the property and sitting with him in an onsite gazebo giving him plenty of attention. About: Trained Dog Groomer, Pet First Aid Certified, puppies and seniors are not a problem, medication administration, worked on dog farms ans hotels, dog massage and aromatherpay, pooper scooper, multiple dog walks and hikes, little and large dog training, and more. I have done it all. My current scheudle is flexible. Every morning I fill water dishes for neighbour cats and they have an affectionate moment with me throghout the day and garden with me.
