The safety of your pets, your house and my own safety are top priority.
“Phoebe was great! Easy to communicate with and plan with. Very friendly and my little girl loved her! It's always hard on me to leave my cat, but knowing Phoebe was coming to check on her made it easier. I will definitely rebook and would refer her to anyone! About: Animals have always been a part of my life. I started caring for pets when I was 12, and what began as helping neighbors quickly grew into over 20 years of experience with cats, dogs, and even horses. From playful puppies to senior pets, I’ve seen it all and I know how to meet each animal where they’re at. I believe pets deserve more than just “care” — they deserve comfort, companionship, and someone who truly understands them. Whether that means long walks, gentle grooming, or just extra snuggles, I make sure every pet feels loved and safe while their people are away. You can relax knowing your pets will be treated like family, because to me, that’s exactly what they are. 🐾 Caring for others has always been at the heart of my life. I work casually as a care aid in healthcare, and caring for animals has been a constant alongside that for over 20 years. From cats and dogs to horses, I’ve loved being the person people can rely on when they need someone trustworthy and compassionate. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to give pets the time and attention they deserve. Whether it’s keeping up with a playful pup, providing comfort to a senior cat, or just making sure your pets feel safe and loved, I treat every animal as if they were my own. When I care for pets in someone else’s home, I understand I’m being trusted with two of your most important things — your animals and your space. I take that responsibility seriously by keeping routines consistent, paying attention to details, and making sure pets and homes stay safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.
About: having grown up with cats and dogs, no home feels complete without a pet. i truly understand that animals become a part of the family and with a flexible “work-from-anywhere-with-wifi” career i can provide your pet with the love, care, and attention they deserve and need. both mobile and childfree, i can travel throughout the okanagan valley (or the Pacific Northwest for the right match). I am experienced from playful puppies to sugar-faced seniors and from kittens to cranky cats. no furry friend is too big or small! i work a flexible job, fully remotely so I can keep your pet company while working M-F. I am a Peachland loca: mobile, fit, young-ish, and childfree with most evenings and weekends open to dedicate to your pet(s) and their needs. as a long time dog owner i believe in positive reinforcement training and will encourage good behaviour by rewarding with pre-approved treats. I observe dog body language to only touch or cuddle as much, or as little, as your pet may want. I completely understand being away from you family can be unsettling so your pets comfort is my ultimate priority :)
“Nicole was awesome! She was super responsive and easy to communicated with. My cat has advanced kidney disease and it was a huge relief to have someone so knowledgeable check in on him. High recommend.”

“Shelley is a literal earth angel who truly loves animals deeply. Every check in update was detailed and also made me giggle as she really got to know my cats personalities haha this was my first role using Rover and I’m so glad I found Shelley on here! Hired her for while we were gone during our wedding weekend and felt completely at ease with trusting her to tend to the house hold ! (And medicating one kitty with no fus) will book again for future travels !!”

About: I am very active outdoors- walking, running, hiking. My family home had two dogs, one day I plan to take on the responsibility of my own pup, and in the meantime I cherish any opportunity to care for them:) I currently work part time and do personal projects. You can expect your pup to have morning, afternoon and evening walks during the weekday, and join me for adventures on the weekend. Some common ones being walks and hikes on nearby trails. Scratches and cuddles, food and fresh water as per their schedule, playing with them. Kindness and affection are absolutes. Any other elements like toys or favorite spots to ensure they feel safe.
“Bianca was so great with our pup and really took the time to ask us questions about what we wanted for when she dog sits. Our pup warmed up to her so quickly! We feel comfortable leaving our pup in her hands, she seemed genuinely interested in the well-being of our pup and knowledgeable about pets in general too.”

About: I have been taking care of animals for over 20 years. I started out at a young age taking care of neighbours and friends animals. I spent some time volunteering for various animal societies. I regularly support the BC SPCA. I am responsible and professional. I have open availability and I am typically available everyday. I love to get out on dog walks and hikes on my property, I live on 70 acres and being outdoor with animals is a given! There is a large grassed area here, rocky areas and a creek. I have animal crates if your dog is kennel trained.
