“Isabella showed up on time to spend time with my pup and took great care of him while she was there. She was communicative through out the process. I loves the pictures she provided of her visit.”

“Michaela took great care of our older cat when we were out of town for the weekend. Was very communicative and our kitty was very happy and relaxed when we got home.”

“Tori is amazing! I’ve booked with her a couple times, and my kitties are always content and relaxed when I get home. I really appreciate how she even rinses their meat dishes and puts them in the dishwasher so the home stays fresh. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have always had pets until this last year (cats and dogs). I now walk my daughters' dogs for them daily early morning, and I really enjoy having that daily connection with my furry friends! Being semi-retired I am available for consistent and reliable care. I am working from home in the mornings, and then always take my walks in the afternoons, so that is the best time for me to come to your home to walk or visit your pet. I am available for visits in West Kelowna. I can visit in your home and/or yard and also take your pet for a walk in your area.
About: I am new to Rover but not to pet care! My goal is to provide exceptional care and security to the homes and pets in my area. If you are looking for a house-sitter/walker with class, high energy, honesty, and maximum responsibility, please consider me for the position! Building trust with both homeowners and their pets is my focus because I understand the uncertainties of leaving your companions and property in the hands of a stranger. It is my goal to maximize my care services and experience with every job and learn new ways to provide even better service. Your feedback is always welcome. I aim to leave your home cleaner than I found it. Here’s a bit about me: I am a business owner and work as a professional artist, author, and graphic designer. I lead an active lifestyle and especially enjoy caring for high-energy dogs. Being an avid hiker and runner, if your dog has a favorite trail or routine, I’d be happy to maintain it. I also have a reliable vehicle suitable for transporting dogs if you so wish, but I also respect if the owner doesn’t want their dog going too far from home. Just let me know whatever you are comfortable with! My background with animals is extensive. I grew up on a farm and worked on ranches in the Cariboo and Fraser Valley Regions. I have a huge passion for animals and have trained large dogs and horses. I previously worked as a dog and cat groomer. These experiences gave me a strong understanding of animal behavior across many breeds and personalities. I’ve been told before that I am an animal whisperer, and I believe that is because I pay close attention to their behavior and individual needs. Whether your pet is energetic, elderly, anxious, or highly trained, I approach each animal with careful understanding. I do watercolor pet portraits (as shown in the photos) and am happy to take on a commission of your pet if you’d like one! Please Note: After due consideration, I have decided I cannot accept housesits with indoor cameras anymore. It is difficult having no privacy or very little, whether it’s for personal/business calls I’m making or just day to day living. I’m sorry if this doesn’t work for you. Also note that if you have told me there are no cameras in the home, and I discover a hidden camera while I am housesitting, I will immediately end the housesit for breach of trust. Thank you for understanding. Friday evening to Saturday evening I am off work and don’t respond to Rover requests, but I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for considering my services! Schedule: Because I am self-employed, I am the perfect sitter for your pet. They will have company all day and get out for their exercise consistently! What Do I Need From You the Pet Owner? It’s important for me to know the rules of your home so that you can feel secure knowing your pet will be cared for in the way they are used to! My favourite home owners are the ones who give me a list of the do's and don’ts so I can provide the best care for their pets and home. I don’t expect a stocked fridge, but it is a nice bonus when homeowners care too! I’m always being asked what I like to have, so here’s my favourites: Juice, eggs, yogurt, nuts, and cheese. I have low blood pressure, so you can’t go wrong with salty things! Although I absolutely adore animals, I do have a restriction when it comes to animals sleeping with me on the bed. I understand that is what many owners do with their pets, and I’m sorry that I can’t accommodate this. If your pet eats pork, please know that for religious reasons I am not able to handle any pork products. Thank you so much for your understanding.
“We would 100% ask Elisabeth to watch our two cats again. Both girls took to her quickly (which never happens!), and Elisabeth sent photos and updates during our trip. She made the process easy, is a strong communicator, and put us at ease. Highly recommend! :)”

“Viktoriia is an awesome dog walker. She responds quickly to our requests. She is friendly, committed, timely and most importantly our dog really looks forward to her arrival and walks. Thanks Viktoriia.”

About: I’m an experienced and reliable pet sitter who’s especially comfortable with high-energy dogs. I have a husky myself, so I understand how important exercise and enrichment are. I’ve done extensive training with my own dog, including basic obedience, and professional ECollar training. What sets me apart is my experience with nervous or reactive dogs. I’m patient, attentive to body language, and use calm, consistent handling to help dogs feel safe and settled. Whether your dog needs lots of activity or a slower, more reassuring approach, I adapt to their individual needs. I’m also committed to keeping routines consistent, from walks and feeding schedules to reinforcing any training you’re working on. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority. I also have experience safely removing ticks and administering medications when needed. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m currently working part-time and am a university student, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. I’m available on weekends and can adjust my day to accommodate walks, drop-ins, or extended care. I make it a priority to build my schedule around your pets. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. In your home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s routine. I pay close attention to behavior and body language, especially with nervous or reactive pets, and always use calm, consistent handling. I’m mindful of safety on walks and in the home, including secure leashing, avoiding unsafe situations, and keeping a clean, hazard-free environment. I also follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding, medication, and any training cues you’re working on. If I’m caring for pets in my home, I ensure they have a safe, clean, and comfortable space, with plenty of supervision, exercise, and enrichment based on their needs. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away
“Hope was excellent with my puppy. She is 20 weeks old and is teething. She is quite mouthy right now and Hope was calm and patient with her. I will be asking Hope to return on those days when I have to be out of the house for extended periods.”

“Toni is amazing! She did drop off visits for my french bulldog for about 2 weeks. He’s a bougie little guy who gets his lunch meal prepped (due to pancreatitis) and heated up. She came by for about an hour everyday and fed him/ took him out. She also took the time to do drop by introduction before taking care of him. After the first visit he was waiting by the door looking for her the entire night when I get home. If I afford to hire her full time I would. Highly recommend trying her out if you need someone to care for your pets!”

About: Animals have always been a part of my life. I started caring for pets when I was 12, and what began as helping neighbors quickly grew into over 20 years of experience with cats, dogs, and even horses. From playful puppies to senior pets, I’ve seen it all and I know how to meet each animal where they’re at. I believe pets deserve more than just “care” — they deserve comfort, companionship, and someone who truly understands them. Whether that means long walks, gentle grooming, or just extra snuggles, I make sure every pet feels loved and safe while their people are away. You can relax knowing your pets will be treated like family, because to me, that’s exactly what they are. 🐾 Caring for others has always been at the heart of my life. I work casually as a care aid in healthcare, and caring for animals has been a constant alongside that for over 20 years. From cats and dogs to horses, I’ve loved being the person people can rely on when they need someone trustworthy and compassionate. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to give pets the time and attention they deserve. Whether it’s keeping up with a playful pup, providing comfort to a senior cat, or just making sure your pets feel safe and loved, I treat every animal as if they were my own. When I care for pets in someone else’s home, I understand I’m being trusted with two of your most important things — your animals and your space. I take that responsibility seriously by keeping routines consistent, paying attention to details, and making sure pets and homes stay safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.
