“Tiernan took very good care of our 19 1/2 yr old cat Marley. It wasn’t an easy job that just involved filling up a cat dish and scooping the litter box. She was mixing wet food, setting up cat watching bird videos and making a warm comfy beds with a hot water bottle. At a very Sr age, Marley needs a lot of encouragement to eat, love and attention and Tiernan did a fantastic job! She also had to come early morning and later in the evening and she was here faithfully. She went above and beyond to make sure our fur baby was full, happy and content. We received thorough updates on how he was doing and pictures with every visit she made. We couldn’t be happier with the job she did for us. Plus she is a complete sweetheart! About: We have owned many dogs and are very experienced and caring dog owners. We love dogs and will take very good care of your fur baby while they are under our care in our home. There are lots of trails to walk your dog just steps outside our door. I am retired and my husband works from home so we are able to watch your dog most days and nights and for extended periods of time. We have large front and back yards, as well as many walking trails just outside our door with plenty of room for your dog to run and get their exercise. We don’t currently have our own pet, but love dogs and will take very good care of your pet while we dog-sit. We live in a small gated community at the end of a cul-de-sac with very little traffic. We often watch and board our friends’ Labrador while his owners travel.

About: I've been helping friends and family take care of their dogs when they are on vacation, with sometimes special instructions for their medication and the many times they need to walk or play. I bathe their pets and make sure I use the correct and appropriate food as per their owner's instructions. I absolutely love animals and cherish the way they provide pleasure in our lives. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. On a usual day, I am able to walk the dog in the morning afternoon and the evening after work. I do love a casual walk at a beach or a park, even without the dog. It would fit into my schedule perfectly! Within my home, I have 2 cats who are very well behaved and don't mind other dogs. If the owner wishes, I can keep their pups away from the cats and near me in my home office and kitchen. About: Other than owning dogs since early childhood I have worked as a kennel attendant, taking care of 200 dogs and worked as a dog sledding guide looking after 50 Alaskan huskies. I have my own dog currently, a year old Australian shepherd, so am no stranger to high energy breeds. I am new to Kelowna and work part time with looking to fill the gaps with as many dog/ cat friends as possible. I have my own dog who requires frequent walks and would be open to having her join on dog walks/ play dates if the owner is interested. I love personal time with dogs and love providing enrichment and mentally stimulating play with breed specifics in mind. I’ve raised 4 puppies myself so have a very keen eye on keeping them out of trouble.
About: Anxiety, reactive, skittish, senior dogs, dogs that need space, dogs that can't be off leash, high energy and low energy, dogs that don't enjoy other dogs, watching closely there reaction to each situation and managing as needed. I work from home and am available to walk care for, or board for your dog over night, weekends or extended visits weekends or weekdays. I have a large fenced backyard on 1/3 acre in West Kelowna, as well as a dog proof home that can house your animal as part of the family.

About: Lifelong animal lover and friend, I’ve been caring for friends’ and family pets for as long as I can remember. Now instilling the same love and respect for animals in my two boys. We are a loving family who will treat your pets like royalty. In saying that, I will be the primary caretaker for your animals, but my children live in the home and will be interacting with your pet(s) at times. Please keep this in mind if your pets don’t like children as there may be a better fit for you 🙂 I am a Registered Nurse working part-time on a rotating schedule with tons of availability and flexibility. Your pet will never be alone for more than 2 hours at my home. I have a fenced yard backing onto a beautiful golf course and have the ability to crate your dog if required. Your dog will spend as much time in or outside as you like.

About: I am a favourite pet sitter for friends and family because I treat them like my own since I no longer have my own dog. I like to follow their schedules and ensure there are a lot of walks, play and attention. Boarding available for weekends, I work full time during the week but can do 3-4 day weekends with walks in the mornings, evenings and a mid-day pee break. Your pet would be the only pet in the home. I live downtown in a secure, pet friendly building that has a private dog run. Walkable to Knox Mountain and the dog park.

Peanut runs right into her house without looking back and gets sad for a day or two when we come home hahaha!
