About: I have had dogs for over 30 years, also foster dogs on occasion for a dog rescue group. I strive to ensure my home is as comfortable for the dogs as possible. I am semi retired and work from home. I am home the majority of the day, I try to ensure if I’m going out that it is only once a day. I treat all pets as tho they are my own. I do like to meet the dogs and their owner beforehand to get as much information as possible in advance of their stay.

“Absolutely amazing sitter. Our girl was so calm and happy when we picked her up. She was so relaxed she ate all of her dinner, which was shocking to me. 10/10 would highly recommend and will be using their services again. Thanks for everything Kristin, Ryan and family!”

About: Hello! I’m Alexandra. I am a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets. I bring a calm, reliable approach to pet sitting, along with a background in both medical and behavioral care that allows me to support pets with a wide range of needs. Over the years, I’ve raised, minded, trained, and cared for everything from bouncy puppies, cantankerous cats, to fragile senior pets. I am skilled in administering subcutaneous fluids, injections, and oral medications, and I’ve supported paralyzed animals with their daily hygiene and comfort. I have also provided end-of-life care with gentleness and compassion, ensuring that pets feel safe and loved at every stage of life. As a rescue advocate, I have worked with a variety of animals experiencing anxiety, reactivity, and high energy. I always focus on patience, structure, and positive engagement. I strive to pay close attention to body language and subtle signals, which helps me to connect with pets who may be shy, nervous, or misunderstood. Aside from medical or behavioral needs, I believe in the little things like walks at the right pace, enrichment that keeps pets interested and engaged, and those quiet moments of affection that help them feel secure. Every animal has their own personality, and I love tailoring my care so they can truly thrive. My time is flexible at the moment and I am willing work around your specific schedules and needs. I look forward to building strong bonds and long term relationships with you and your pets! Day Care Services: Walks, hikes, dog park trips, and vet visits — always tailored to each dog’s needs and energy level. I can be with your dog one-on-one or provide company and play time by bringing along my dog Molly. Molly is gentle and patient with puppies and has a consistent temperment. She is more likely to meander companiably or parallel play than she is to tussle so is the perfect companion for your senior pup or your more reactive dog that needs positive experiences with other dogs. In-Home Care (Dogs): Offered only once I’ve built a relationship and know the dog is safe with my cats and rabbits. In-Home Care (Small Pets): Rabbits or other small animals welcome for day care/overnights if penned. Outdoor Safety: Backyard is enclosed but not fully secure at the back — all outdoor time is supervised. Front yard is unfenced, so dogs are always leashed.
“Tamara is quick to respond, friendly, sent photos of my pup and gave me some time to surprise my husband with a helicopter ride on our honeymoon trip without having to worry about Marshall.”

About: G'day everyone, Tina and I moved from Australia to Canada in 2022 with our senior dog Sandy who sadly passed away one month short of her 17th ( Oct 2025) birthday. We have always had a dog(s) in our lives though for a number of reasons have decided that Sandy will be the last dog we own. However we love having dogs around and thought dog sitting allows us the flexibility to travel and when home to have a dog(s) to play with, hang out with and enjoy the variety of personalities they display. We are non smokers and have a very large fully fenced yard for your pet(s) to explore - the beach (pixie) is a short drive down the road if they are swimmers and there are some nice dog parks that we used to take Sandy to close by. Tina and I work part time so it is rare that no one would be home when your pet(s) stay with us. With us they will enjoy cuddles, tummy rubs and lazing on the grass in the sun or lounging on the sofa looking at the lake. Semi retired couple who work part time (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) so more often then not your pet will not be home alone and and on the days that we are at work - due to our schedules it is only a few hours that they are by themselves. We are both non smokers. Our house is in two parts. We spend most of our time upstairs which is where your pet would also be which gives direct access to the front yard and then down the side to the back yard. The yard is large and fully fenced.
“We booked Tera last minute when visiting kelowna. We wanted to do a couple tours and Tera helped us out. She was super responsive and was great with our dogs and treated them as her own. Could not ask for more. Thanks again!”

About: I have trained two lovely puppies to be well behaved, patient and listen off leash. I have grown up with over 30 dogs over the years with a variety of breeds and sizes from toy poodles to Mastiffs. My partner and I have a 7 month puppy (very large mastiff/st. Bernard puppy) so he has been not working and instead spending time training and taking our dogs on adventures! I work part-time and I am in school, but I have all my evenings free for night walks and training. Between the two of us, we go on many walks and adventures with the dogs and would love to do the same with more pups! A lot of snuggles and pets! We play with lots of toys and have lots of spaces for the pets to relax and be left alone if needed!
