Growing up on a farm I developed my love for animals. I’m a huge dog lover. Anytime I see a dog I always ask the owner if I can say hi. I love cuddles with daily hikes or walks, and my bed is always open for extra cuddles at night. Along with my two dogs, who love friends to come and play, I’m trustworthy, putting pets and their people at ease with reliable, conscientious care. With my husband and young adult kids living at home, there is always someone around for your furbaby to greet and play with.

I have a large fenced yard, with two dogs to run and play with. I as well have a dog door for the dogs to come and go outside to the yard as they please. My cat Bows doesn’t mind dogs and usually minds her own business. On most days my dogs go for a 5km walk or hike to get us all some excercise and fresh air. My bed is open to small dogs whom like to cuddle at night. We are an animal loving family who would love to watch others fur babies while giving them lots of love and attention.

Debbie was the perfect per sitter. She took care of Layla as if she was her own. Pictures and cuddles every visit 💕 Such an easy interaction and quick correspondence. Booked last minute and she made it work with her and her daughter. We will be booking again with Debbie very soon.

I am a new resident of the Northern Okanagan and prior to relocating when I would have a few days away from home I had family close by who would care for my cats, Norman and Lester. As typical when it is something new - I was excited that I found Debbie, but still a bit anxious at leaving the “boys” for an extended number of days. Well, I had nothing at all to worry about and I knew everything would be great when I met with the sitter and the cats came right over for hellos and pets. The daily snaps of both cats - looking at her as though they were looking at me - and being outside - which - thank you so much - was over and beyond what I had asked for and expected. I’ve been home an hour and both cats don’t care - they’ve had their attention needs taken care of by Debbie and I guess I’ll be the favourite again once the food dish is empty! Thank you so much Debbie for being so great!
Debbie and family took such good care of of my 15 year old dog. It was her first time in the care of a Rover sitter and I didn’t worry a bit. Debbie sent photos and videos of my dog and she looked extremely well cared for. My instructions were followed which included giving medication at certain times of the day, giving her 2 walks a day and ensuring she got some outside time and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Way to go Debbie and family!! Jazz had a great time! And so did I as I didn’t worry a bit. A win- win!
Debbie was great with our boy Lewi, dropped in with him, played with him and gave him a little walk. Went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend.

Schedule
I work 4 days on and 4 days off. My husband works at home some days, and I have 2 adult children who go to school and come and go throughout the day. Someone is generally home most times of the day.
