About: Our daughter would like to take the lead. She is new to pet sitting but has a way with all animals. Mom has dog and cat sitting experience from before kids and also had a dog growing up. We are mostly available for weekend jobs. With notice we can usually work a Monday or Friday in. We are open to weekday stays but we work out of the house so it’s a long day for the animals in the house. We have a fenced yard and are open to crate trained or free range animals. Your animals will become part of our family during their stay.

I have extensive knowledge of pet nutrition as well as food allergies / intolerances. I am comfortable feeding a raw diet as well as administering medications. I am currently available weekends with the exception of some evening check-ins during the week. I am available to stay in your home or host your fur babies at my home! About Our Dog 🐺 We have a German Shepherd named Nala who loves having other dogs around and is always excited to make new friends. She’s friendly, playful, and enjoys being around other dogs, cats, and kids. We both work from home - Nicole one day a week and Chris the other four days - so someone is always home with your pet. We have a very spacious, fully-fenced yard located in Rutland where your dog(s) can safely roam free and play. Our home is VERY pet-friendly, and dogs/cats are welcome to go wherever they please. We have a dog door that allows dogs to go in/out of the house, along with plenty of cozy spots to relax. We also have a large crate available if needed. We’re happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and can accommodate different preferences for walking, sleeping, feeding, and play.

About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was a baby. If I could have a farm full of dogs, I would have it! Give me dogs over people any day. But I promise to still be awesome with you to make sure you are comfortable with me caring for your pup. I’m experienced with dogs who are still figuring out the leash world, senior dogs, jumpy dogs, pretty much all dogs! If your pup sleeps on the bed with you, they can sleep on the bed with me. Dogs are allowed couch cuddles in our household, but if that’s a no-no in your home, we will enforce that rule here too. Medications needed? I got you. I work from home and choose my hours so I have total flexibility to help care for your beloved pet while you’re away! Weekends are totally free for endless animal care. Morning or evening drop ins to feed and cuddle your cats. Or feed your fish, birds, Guinea pigs, bunnies, etc. I can clean cages and litter boxes so your pet has a clean space always. I can even clean your fish tank if needed! The way I care for your pets is to ask you how you want them cared for and I will do exactly that (and maybe a bit more because I can’t help myself sometimes). I want your pets to not be stressed because you’re gone. I want them to feel comfortable and happy. Your pets are a part of your family and because of that, they hold the utmost importance to me when they are in my care.

About: Having been caring for pets since I could walk, my experience includes dog of all sizes and ages (specifically senior puppers), cats, and a special interest in aquariums. As far as my daily life goes, I am a sustainability student at UBCO with flexibility in my schedule to provide extra car and time for your fur babies. My pet sitting style is based solely on pet parent comfortability and I will cater to the needs of both you and your pet based on what your rover profile provides and written/spoken instruction.

About: Hello! My name is Ally. I’ve had dogs my whole life since I was 3 years old, and one cat. Animals are my whole heart. I volunteer with animal rescue and animal emergency response groups in Kelowna. I also worked as a vet tech for a month (I decided I would rather just care for animals rather than deal with the medical side or things) but I do have experience calming, restraining, giving medicine and whatever your pet may require. For dog walking I can walk small and large dogs, for overnight care in my home I can only do smaller dogs as my landlord has only approved small dogs. I lost my soul dog a few weeks ago due to heart disease, she was a rescue. She was a special needs senior dog who needed medications a couple times a day and help up on the furniture, I have happily built my life routine around caring for her and now that she is gone I would love to open my home and my time to helping care for other people’s dogs until I’m ready for my own again. I also am a photographer/pet photographer and often you’ll receive some cute photos of your pet from our time together. Daily text, call, FaceTime with your pet videos can be provided upon request, and for in home visits I can water plants or any other up keep while you are away tasks upon request as well. Open to boarding for long periods of time as well I am currently in between jobs so I have lots of free time, I am currently available weekdays and weekends, and once I am working again I will just be available weekends. I have a small baby gated yard at my place, I never let my dog out without me going out with her, I have lots of room in my place, if your dog or cat needs to be crated, space is not an issue.
