About: I’ve had dogs all my life, cats, I love reptiles and anything breathing and living. Some would say I’m an animal whisperer. But I’m also a baby whisperer. Your pet will be very safe with me. I work Monday- Thursday with Friday-Sunday off. I’m off quite early (around 130pm) on Tuesdays and don’t work until 12pm on Wednesdays. Dropping in or taking your pet out to pee or for walks is easily doable. My availability can vary depending on your needs, so feel free to contact me for details. For overnight stays, my personal pet will be kept at my home away from your animal so there is no interference I’m very very careful when it comes to animals as I’ve had plenty of my own. Rest assured you’d be in extremely trusting hands. I’d care for your baby just as my own.

About: We had a beautiful Golden Retriever 2013-2025 who went everywhere with me and was never left alone. I loved being with him, caring for him and other friends pets, walking, brushing, veterinary drop offs and collections as well as caring for elderly dogs too. I love all dogs. Will be with the dogs all day in my home and we have beautiful trails right at our doorstep for quick walks or longer hikes. Happy to be slower if dogs are older or small or longer if they have lots of energy. I work from home so pets would never be left alone, I have set up my work to fit in with caring for our own pet as a priority. Have looked after our own dog and walked 4-5 times daily with shorter potty breaks and longer excercise trips for 12 years. I have no fenced yard but have a provincial park and walking trails directly at my door so walking is never a problem. My own golden retriever will go outside for a variety of mini walks and a longer walk daily or we can take the car to other parks if requested.

About: I absolutely love dogs, just seeing one instantly makes my day. I’m originally from India and currently away from home, studying at ubco. I’ve attended multiple ubco BARK sessions just to be around dogs because caring for them helps fill that space in my heart, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether it is hiking, walking, playtime, or just quiet company. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I enjoy planning my day around walks, feeding, and playtime. Since I’m away from my own dog, caring for other dogs is something I truly look forward to, and I make sure each pet gets attention, exercise, and love every day. I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding them on schedule, making sure they always have fresh water, taking them for walks and bathroom breaks, and giving them plenty of playtime and affection. I also keep their space clean and safe, and I pay close attention to their behavior so I can notice if anything seems off. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own. 🐶💛

About: I am a university student at UBCO living at home with my family and 2 dogs. This gives me the unique flexibility to stay overnight and care for pets on short notice. I have had dogs my whole life, and currently have a senior rescue, and a puppy at home. This gives me the experience I need to care for all kinds of dogs, well trained, not yet trained, puppies, seniors, rescues, purebreds etc. I have been dog and cat sitting for family friends several times a year for over 3 years since high school. I am a very responsible person, extremely reliable, and communicate well. I love the outdoors and going for walks, as well as lazy days at home. I have a very flexible school and work schedule. I am a student at UBCO and have several 3-4 hour gaps in my day which I can come home and spend time with the pets. I am done my classes around dinner time, and can come straight home for the evening. On the weekends, I am a server at a restaurant in town and generally only work 4-6 hour shifts. This means I am around for the majority of the day. I have been dog walking for many years as I have had dogs my whole life. With clients, I try and keep the pet’s routine as similar as possible to their owner’s. I like to be around as much as possible and keep the pets as comfortable as they can be while their owner is away.
“Toni is very responsive and was able to help me with very short notice. She took my dog on great walks and made it very comfortable and convenient. Thank you for your support and 10/10 recommend!”

“We booked Tyra to pop in once a day to check on our cats. She was reliable, stopping in each day around the same time. She also sent us pictures of her time with our one cat who loves attention, which assured us her attendance and gave us the opportunity to see our sweet fur babies who we were missing. Also, Tyra was sweet and personable when we met her. We hope to book her again :)”

About: I grew up with a hyper active jack Russell that I cared for primarily and when he got sick I had to clean up for him a lot. So I’m great with old dogs, have helped many friends care for their puppies and in high school stayed at parents friends houses watching their large dogs. I’m not terribly afraid of any dog unless they give good reason. I love working out so taking dogs for walks is a treat for me too. Where I live I don’t have room for dogs so would love to love on dogs caring for them when their parents need it. I have most evenings on week days free, Sunday days and love to learn, if your training your dog I would love to aid in that.
“Kendallyn and Wade were fantastic sitters for our cat! I booked with them last minute and they were super responsive and able to come for a meet and greet with little notice! They were very engaged, flexible and respectful with our space and our kitty! I would recommend them and look forward to booking with them again next time!”

Jena is a great sitter. She always spends quality time with our dog and cat, makes sure they are well looked after and I really appreciate the updates and care. It's so nice knowing that you don't have to worry when you are away, highly recommend Jena for your pets.

Cassie was absolutely wonderful. I was getting married at 50th Parallel and needed somebody to take my two dogs out for a bathroom break and some company. She met with us the day before and I felt completely at ease knowing the dogs would be in great hands. She sent several pictures and everything went as smooth as could be. Would definitely recommend her and would book again.
