“We used Courtney for the first time to look after our dog and cat while we were away for four days. She did a fantastic job and kept us updated with pictures. Everyone was happy, well fed, well taken care of, and she left the house tidy. I would definitely recommend Courtney. We will ask for her help again in the future. Thank you very much, Courtney.”

“Yellow got spayed Wednesday and is recovering which means being kept calm and supervised to make sure she doesn’t lick her incision site. We trusted Ross with this job and he was great as always. Yellow adores him!”

“Cleah is wonderful. Great communication, conscientious, caring - everything you want in a pet sitter! She sat our two dogs, including one that is a bit of a problem child - quirky, both physically and mentally - and Cleah was able to keep her happy and healthy for the two weeks we were away. And I was quite sure our other one was going to try to leave in her suitcase!! House looked fine when we got back too, so it was very easy to just walk in, unpack and relax after a long trip! Thanks Cleah!!”

“Lori was fantastic! After meeting her, I was assured that she does this purely out of her love for dogs, not just the extra cash! She sent great updates regularly and pics and I felt at ease while travelling knowing my most precious boy was being well tended to.”

“Sydney and her partner were amazing with Sophie, I can’t recommend them enough. Very reliable and went above and beyond expectations. Thanks so much!”

“Having Kate stay at our house allowed us to enjoy our vacation, knowing our pets were in their own home where they are comfortable and happy. Our dog especially is quite spoiled so a kennel just did not feel like an option, and would have put an undercurrent of stress on the whole trip. With Kate being there she was able to maintain her routine of walks, see her dog friends in the neighbourhood and hang out with our cats, as they are quite bonded. Kate updated us regularly with messages, photos and videos so we could see how our pets were doing, which we very much appreciated. One of our cats is usually exceptionally shy and does not like strangers at all, so to see photos and videos of her coming for attention was very reassuring. We will definitely have Kate back again.”

“Rhiannon was great! She clearly really cares about the pups she is sitting which made me feel so assured leaving my young puppy with her. She sent me pics and asked really great questions in order to give my puppy the love and attention she needed.”

“Loren was amazing while taking care of my VERY particular pup. Great communication and left my house clean. I will definitely use Loren's services again and recommend Loren.”

“Samantha was great! Quick to respond and sent updates and pics of my fur baby. My house was left exactly how I left it. Would definitely book with samantha again”

“Taylor is an exceptional caregiver and I would highly recommend her services. Taylor is reliable and great at communicating I’m so thankful she takes such great care of my doggo!”

“Marisa was wonderful as she exceeded our expectations. We were sent regular photos and updates on what Dechen was up to and she looked very happy. When we arrived home everything was neat and clean. We were very happy with the service that Marisa provided and will reach out to her again the next time we go away.”

“Chhabi is amazing! Our 2 year old duck toller had an absolute blast with her this past weekend! Chhabi was also super great at checking in with us with any questions and sending us updates and pictures over the 3 days our pup was with her :)”

“Ellen took wonderful care of my entire zoo while I was away! She sent picture and video updates and kept me in the loop the whole time. Everyone was happy and healthy when I came back home. I highly recommend Ellen and would definitely have her back again :)”

About: I’ve had pets as long as I can remember, my parents had 2 cats when I was born and we slowly accumulated pets over the years haha. Unfortunately, my brother ended up being deathly allergic to cats so we had to pivot a little bit and ended up with a guinea pig, a rabbit and a snake haha. We unfortunately, never ended up having a dog, but I went out of my way my entire life to engage with dogs and had been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. From a young age I was volunteering at SPCA’s and walking dogs through them, or going with friends as well as pursuing an education in animal behaviour and volunteering with myriads of types of animals over the past 15 years. I’ve also in the past 2 years started dog sitting pretty frequently while friends are on vacation, even long term stays up to a month (walking, feeding, playing, enrichment, basic training, bathing & administering medications). I also had 2 cats of my own for 7 years when I moved out of house and I absolutely loved spending time with them and getting to know their unique personalities. I was committed to enriching their lives as much as possible and would relish the chance to check in on or house sit for your cats as well as dogs :) Service Radius: I have my service radius set to a pretty small space because I am still in the processing of securing reliable transport (i.e. a car) so rely primarily on public transport. Feel absolutely free to message me if you’re outside of it but still within the HRM and I will have a look to see if I will have to time to accommodate the extra travel time to and from your location. I’m currently working about 2 shifts a week at my yoga studio as I’ve been struggling to find a perfect fit for me where I can utilize all my skills and therefore have an incredibly flexible schedule. My yoga studio is additionally dog friendly so there is the potential to have your pet join me so that they don’t have to be left alone! I’m an active person so we would go for tons of outings if that’s what your critter needs, but I am also happy to just chill at home and hang with them if that’s what they need. Safety and Trust: I take extra care to ensure my client’s boundaries are respected while in their home — this means careful attention to where pets and myself are allowed in your home, using all safety precautions, and respecting your privacy. I don’t have a problem with cameras being in your home, that being said, I do ask that you make me aware of them.

Will absolutely book Jaelyse again!”

About: I'm Sydney (the one with the long hair), I work as a team with my partner Mike to take care of your pets. Throughout our lives, we've cared for cats and dogs belonging to family members, roommates, and friends. We've gotten to know so many animals, each with their own unique personalities, and we'd love to meet yours too :) We're comfortable with cleaning your pet's space, feeding them, administering medication, and anything else that they need to keep them happy and healthy. We have open availability at the moment, and can easily accommodate brief check-ins with your pet or longer stays of multiple days without issue. Propose a time and date to us and let's discuss! We want your pet to have the best time possible during your absence, whether this involves relaxing with them or keeping them entertained. We like to learn a pet's temperament, likes, dislikes, and boundaries, then work from there — every pet is different and has different needs, which is important to take into account so that they receive everything they need while you're away! It's important to note that we don't have pets of our own, so if we are boarding your pet you'll need to drop off anything your pet needs at our apartment first (food, litter box, toys, etc.)

About: Hi! I'm Dakota. Born in Moncton, NB, grew up In Sackville. I am a red seal chef, trained in P.E.I at Holland college. I now live downtown Halifax working for the Nova Scotia school lunch program. I've owned pets my whole life, as well as taking care of familly pets. I've also worked for UPS and having to de-escalate agitated dogs was a daily occurrence. I am available mon-friday anytime after 3pm. And all day on weekends. Ive just moved to Halifax and most of the time have a wide open schedule. Not doing this for money but for the love of the game. No dogs allowed in my appartment building sadly. My 2 cats litter boxes are cleaned twice a day. Fed every morning and evening like clockwork. They have a water dish in almost every room of the house. I realize how habitual animals can be and will follow any intructions to the letter.

“Candice took great care of my scaredy cat, Cobweb. When we met she was attentive to how to approach him, and she was communicative and sent videos of them playing and doing tricks! We are already booked again for another time that I’m away!”
