With a biology background and hands-on experience in animal care, I bring a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to pet care. I grew up around animals and have cared for dogs and cats (and plenty of other animals along the way!) across a wide range of ages, breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. I’m comfortable supporting pets with strong routines or behavioural quirks and have experience with basic training cues and leash handling through fostering dogs. I take reliability seriously and communicate clearly throughout each booking so owners feel informed and at ease while their pet is in my care! I’m currently in graduate school, and I’m available some weekdays and most weekends for walks, drop-ins, or house sittings (I can typically accommodate different routines & scheduling needs). I love incorporating pets into my daily routine with outdoor walks, hikes, and playtime, making sure they get lots of attention and exercise. I tailor care to each pet’s needs and routine to keep them comfortable, settled, and happy. I provide dependable, attentive care in your home and focus on keeping each pet comfortable and well cared for. I pay close attention to behaviour, energy level, and day-to-day needs. I communicate clearly throughout the visit with photo updates.

About: I have had my own dog, Bear, for 10 years. He’s a highly excitable beagle-dachshund mix! As a university student, I’m always looking to give back to my community in the summers. I’d love to help out my fellow pet-lovers by ensuring their dog gets their needs exceeded while feeling comfortable and loved. With a flexible schedule and calm demeanour, I can help unload the stresses of life by giving your dog the care they deserve🐾 From July-August I have a highly flexible schedule. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily life as a student since my summer-job has come to a close and school does not begin until September. I can help at those difficult times when both work and your dog need attention at once. I will always take the time to learn the precautions you have set up for your dog, whether that be fencing, gates, crates, or a designated play area. You can trust me to respect any special requests as I understand the needs dogs sometimes require. My own dog is on daily medication and requires mobility assistance for stairs.

About: My friends, family and neighbours have trusted me with sitting, feeding, walking and caring for animals throughout my whole life. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. I am currently working a part time job so I have lots of time to spend with your animals!! However I prefer to board on weekends. I do have green space around my home (unfenced) as well as a park very close by so your pups can experience lots of time outside!

I work from home, so your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day—no long hours alone. I’m experienced with daily routines, walks, playtime, and making sure each dog feels comfortable and cared for. I’m happy to care for puppies (with all the patience and consistency they need!) as well as senior dogs who may need a gentler, more relaxed approach. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers to cuddle and relax, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I work from home most days, which allows me to give pets lots of attention and keep a consistent routine. I’m home Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and weekends, so your pet will have plenty of company throughout the day. On Wednesdays, I’m in the office, but I’m located very close to home and can easily come back for check-ins, walks, and care as needed. Overall, I have a flexible schedule and can adapt to your pet’s routine to make sure they’re comfortable, well cared for, and never left alone for long. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet-friendly apartment on the main floor, which means quick and easy access to the outdoors for bathroom breaks and walks—no long waits or elevators needed. We’re also located near great off-leash parks and walking areas, perfect for getting in lots of exercise and fresh air (always based on your comfort level and your dog’s needs). Inside, my home is clean, calm, and set up to be a safe, cozy environment where your dog can relax and feel at home. I’m attentive, responsible, and always mindful of each dog’s routine, safety, and well-being.

About: Hi, I’m Laura! I’m a bilingual (Fr/Eng with basics in Spanish) professional in healthcare and a lifelong lover of all animals. I have loads of experience taking care of and fostering dogs and cats, and recently joined Rover because I simply can’t get enough of being around them. I’ve shared my life with many animals including, a Cocker Spaniel, a Pomchi, an Arabian Greyhound, and now a friendly tabby cat. I understand that every animal has their own unique personality and needs. :) Whether it’s a long stroll, playtime, or a cozy nap, your pup/cat will get the same care, attention, and love that I give my own pets. I have a cat now and HE is new to Rover so every animal we board is a new experience for us together. For boarding, I ask that clients bring a Feliway diffuser/plug which you can buy at Pet Valu (approximately $45 + tax). It’s a magical tool that helps keeps cats be comfortable when welcoming and introducing new pets into the home, creating a more relaxed environment for everyone. A photo of the diffuser can be found in my photo album. Let me know if you have any questions ! I’m self-employed, which gives me flexible hours to care for pets. I usually need a few days notice for weekday visits, but I’m often available mornings, lunch hours, and evenings. This flexibility lets me give your cat or dog consistent attention, walks, and cuddles around your schedule. I treat your home and pets with the utmost respect and responsibility. I follow your instructions carefully, supervise pets at all times, and ensure they are safe, comfortable, and happy.

About: I have over 10 years of experience working with dogs of diverse breeds, ages, behaviours, and care needs. In addition to growing up with family dogs my entire life, I have 6 years of volunteer experience with dog rescue associations. Through this work, I have fostered over 10 dogs in my own home, with stays ranging from just a few days to my longest foster stay of 7 months. Alongside fostering, I have also volunteered walking, socializing, and caring for countless other rescue dogs. I also hold a certificate from the Association for Animal Welfare Development, earned through completing coursework focused on introducing dogs to new environments, people, and other dogs in safe and positive ways. Through my volunteer experience, I have communicated with dog behaviourists, veterinarians, and adopters to help support the best possible outcomes for each dog. Over the years, I have cared for dogs with a wide range of behavioural and medical needs. I have experience administering medication, supporting nervous or high-energy dogs, creating safe introductions, and adapting routines to fit each dog’s individual personality and needs. I am confident handling unexpected situations and always prioritize creating a calm, safe, and positive environment for pets. In addition to my extensive volunteer experience, I have also cared for dogs as an official sitter and have experience following detailed care instructions while caring for dogs both in their own homes and in mine. About: I have taken care of my own family pets since I was 6 years old. I have been a dog sitter for my neighbours pets in the past. As well I used to work at a vet clinic in highschool back in Ontario. I currently work full time. I am free morning/ afternoon/ evening on the weekends. Sometimes available during the early mornings and evenings throughout the week. I provide safe, reliable, and attentive care in each pet's own home environment. I carefully follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding, water, exercise, medications, and any special needs. During walks, I use secure leash-handling practices, avoid unsafe situations, and pay close attention to each dog's comfort and behavior. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, receive plenty of attention and playtime, and are comfortable before I leave. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: I welcome all dogs into my home,. Small, large, energetic and subdued. Growing up with all different varieties of dogs has given me a confidence when dealing with all sorts of behaviors. I can relate to them, and be sure I'm giving them the care they need, where it be a run in the woods, our a casual walk around the neighborhood. I also volunteer at the SPCA as a dog companion, which has given me the opportunity to learn from my peers in all sorts of animal behavior. You can count on me to give your dog the attention they deserve. I also have an 8 year old Siberian Husky, who loves other dogs if they would like a playmate. If your dog is more into relaxing alone, that's also no problem. I currently work from home, so you can rest assured your pet will have companionship, 24/7. I like to fit in at least three walks a day, depending on your dog's needs. I have a fenced yard, where your dog can move freely and get familiar with their new surroundings. I also make a point to always dedicate a safe, private space in my home for my dog guests, where they can relax, and feel safe.

About: I've been loving on and taking care of pets since I was a little kid. I'm that person who gets along with pets more than people and go straight to them at a party 🙃 I love to take dogs out on lots of walks, cuddle cats while I'm crocheting, and make sure that they are well taken care of. I'm currently between jobs and looking to pick up some work ASAP. I have lots of timt to spoil ypur pets. Open for weekends and holidays as well. I am a great guest and responsible house keeper. About: I grew up on a farm basically so I am used to being around all kinds of animals of all sizes! I have experience pet sitting dogs with anxiety/separation issues, dogs with mobility issues, dogs that need medication & I don’t scare easily.
