I currently work full time Monday-Friday and have evenings and weekends free. Happy to care for your fur family and your home. I'm a home owner myself and understand that your home including those in it need care and attention. Please note that being home all day during the work week is not possible. Thank you for your interest. Thank you to my clients for your kindness and understanding; for transparency, my work schedule can sometimes mean that my start time requires me to stay at the office longer than expected. I do try to alert my clients if I am off-schedule... please know it is never intentional. During the 2026 Spring/Summer, my schedule is much busier than usual due to family illness and travel back and forth to Newfoundland. I do keep my calendar up to date including flagging myself as unavailable when I am needed home. Thank you for understanding.

A typical day

Depending on their feeding schedule, I would prepare their food and Meds (if any) and spend a little fun time before heading to work (Weekdays). Weekends - In the afternoon, perhaps another walk or outdoor activity is on the agenda to keep them active and happy. If the pets are more chill and enjoy naps, who am I to argue?!? I pay close attention to each pet's preferences, ensuring that the activities align with their individual personalities and needs. Evenings are dedicated to winding down, with some quiet time, a cozy spot for rest, and, of course, lots of affection and cuddles. I strive to maintain a sense of familiarity by incorporating any routines or rituals they are accustomed to, making their time away from their family as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Ultimately, my goal is to create a positive experience, tailored to the unique preferences of each furry friend in my care.

With over a decade of cherished canine companionship, I bring a wealth of firsthand experience as a devoted dog owner. My journey includes successfully navigating the rewarding challenge of caring for a reactive dog, honing my skills in patience and understanding. Proficient in administering oral medications, I'm well-versed in following precise pet care instructions. Having recently lost my beloved furry friend, I am eager to extend my compassion and support to fellow pet enthusiasts. Your pet's well-being is not just a responsibility, but a heartfelt committment. My husband was a huge lover of animals and in his and our girl Gertie's memory I donate 5% of these earnings to an animal charity. If you have a specific animal cause, please let me know before the booking concludes, otherwise I donate to the local SPCA.

Lori looked after our dog, Snuggles, while we were away and the experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment they met, it was clear how much Lori genuinely loves and cares for animals as Snuggles bonded with her immediately! Throughout our trip, Lori kept us updated with photos and messages which gave us such peace of mind knowing Snuggles was happy, relaxed, spoiled and so well cared for. When we returned home, not only was Snuggles happy and clearly loved but our house was absolutely spotless. We are so grateful for the care and kindness Lori provided.
