About: I have had my own dog, Bear, for 10 years. He’s a highly excitable beagle-dachshund mix! As a university student, I’m always looking to give back to my community in the summers. I’d love to help out my fellow pet-lovers by ensuring their dog gets their needs exceeded while feeling comfortable and loved. With a flexible schedule and calm demeanour, I can help unload the stresses of life by giving your dog the care they deserve🐾 From July-August I have a highly flexible schedule. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily life as a student since my summer-job has come to a close and school does not begin until September. I can help at those difficult times when both work and your dog need attention at once. I will always take the time to learn the precautions you have set up for your dog, whether that be fencing, gates, crates, or a designated play area. You can trust me to respect any special requests as I understand the needs dogs sometimes require. My own dog is on daily medication and requires mobility assistance for stairs.

About: I have experience with dog sitting a dog with anxiety and able to give medications.Also have experience feeding dogs raw food. Plus I have two Huskies of my own that I raise from puppies. I have experience with taking dogs for walks and to the dog park where they can be themselves. I'm currently looking after one dog occasionally when the person goes away. So I have alot of time in my day to look after other animals. I own two Huskies but my partner can look after them when I'm away. I always put the dog safety first and make sure they are not getting in anything they shouldn't. On a walk and I see another dog coming I will pull over to one side and let the dogs pass. If you have a dog with anxiety, I will listen to there body language. When they say it's enough it's enough. I will leave or turn around and go home. If they need to decompress I will give them time to do that.

About: I have had a special place in my heart for animals of all kind my whole life. I have a dog and three cats of my own and I have dogsat for friends and family on many occasions for prolonged periods. By day, I am a Pharmacy Technician, which means I’m patient, empathetic, and have medical experience (I’m very comfortable administering medication and injections). I work full time but I have the time to give your pet quality time and attention, walks, bathroom breaks, and whatever other special care they might need. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and kitties of all attitudes. For winter walks, I follow a safety-first policy. If sidewalks are icy, there is freezing rain/sleet, or conditions are unsafe for walking, I may need to cancel or reschedule. About: Hey, I’m Kaya! I’m an English teacher and part-time organic landscaping/gardener. I’m lucky to have a flexible schedule that lets me care for your pets, too. I teach online from home Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and I’m on-site Tuesday and Thursday — just a quick 3-minute drive away. My classes are short (2.5 hours, twice a day), so your pet gets lots of attention: a solid morning walk, a midday visit (with playtime or an ocean loop), and a longer walk in the afternoon. My partner, Patrick, and I live in a cozy bungalow on a quiet street, just steps from the ocean, with easy access to wooded trails. We have an unfenced yard with a safe leash setup for quick breaks during the day, and we love getting out for fresh-air adventures together. We’re also happy to offer evening walks or jogs after 5pm—perfect for active fuzzbuds who need an extra outing. If you’re planning a trip, we’d love to be your pet’s home away from home. You can expect lots of care, cuddles, and calm, attentive energy, so you can travel worry-free. I can be available during the work week (with drop-off before 8:30am). I teach online classes during the day, but can always offer an early morning/lunch break walk, afternoon yard breaks, and a longer 4:30 trail walk. I care for pets in a calm, safe, and welcoming home environment. Feel free to drop your pet off for an overnight stay, or book them in for longer while you travel worry-free!! I can also do house checks or evening walks!

About: From a young age I’ve always had a passion for animals and providing proper care. From dogs to hamsters and others in between. At my family home I’ve taken care of upwards of 9 pets. I’ve also babysat overnight my boyfriends two shih tzus. I’ve been a sitter on Rover in Wolfville for a year now, but I moved back to my hometown. I am currently working full time at Jollytails! I am free for dog walks in the evening & can do over night stays on the weekends. My shifts are quite long (10 hours) so it makes overnights more difficult during the week as I wouldn’t want to leave your fur baby for that long! I’m willing to come to your home to do overnight stays and I have a car as well to take your dog(s) for drives to parks/lakes.
