“I’ve known Jenn for a long time, and seen the way she’s cared for her dogs as if they were babies, so it was a no brainer on who to ask when I needed someone to stay with my Loki monster (my 100lb doodle) for a week. In the time we were gone, she sent me lots of updates, without me having to ask for them, and treated my pup as if he were her own. Lots of cuddles and attention were given, and it was clear Loki had added a best friend when we returned. If you want your fur babies well taken care of, I can’t recommend Jenn enough.”

About: I’ve had pets all my life including cats and dogs, and I’ve pet sit birds and bunnies too. I love animals and I have experience with small dogs, medium dogs and large breed dogs including reactive dogs. Whether they want to sit on the sofa and chill or go for outdoor adventures, I’m down for whatever I’m lucky enough to work from home 3x a week, so I’m available to house sit (as long as I have wifi to work), walk dogs during the afternoon/evenings and check in occasionally on your pets. I no longer offer boarding services as I live in a cat only apartment building but I am happy to pet sit in your home; I find dogs feel more happy and comfortable in their home, anyway!

About: After 7 wonderful years, we unfortunately needed to let our puppy go over the rainbow bridge recently. I would love the opportunity for you to help me heal by helping you out! I had a rescued amstaff mix who was the apple of our eye. I am are familiar with dogs who need extra care. I am a pro at giving dogs medicine and eardrops. During the work week we are available evenings for walks or drop ins. Weekends are a little more flexible, we are available 24/7 for all dog needs. I have a huge yard and am close to walking trails. I have a bigger SUV therefore am able to drive around HRM. I have a crate and feeding bowls here so owners would not need to bring anything.

“I have had Chris take care of both of my dogs many times over the years and the dogs and I just love him! The dogs are always excited to see him and beg for his attention, which Chris is always eager to give them. I know that he is good to them, because of how they react when he shows up. Chris is also very active and loves to take the dogs out to trails for walks. Even in bad weather, he doesn't let the rain or snow stop him. Chris is very patient, responsible and caring and I highly recommend him as a caregiver for your dog!”

“My Aussie Arlo has been obsessed with Kaleigh from the moment he met her. She obviously understands herding breeds really well, she talks to Arlo gently but firmly, and respects my personal boundaries on things like not letting him off the leash because he can't be trusted to recall. Some things I noticed about her that set her apart (as a herding dog owner): - She lets Arlo sniff. He always comes back exhausted from walks with her because she lets him mentally engage and understands you can't tire him out with walking alone. - She can tell from a distance when a dog isn't going to get along with Arlo and engages him off to the side really well. - She handles him exactly the way he likes. She's really good at reading what he's asking for. She's also good at asking him for what she needs, like space when she gets in the house. I'm a bit neurotic about my dog, since he's my first and I waited so long for him. As a dog owner, working with Kaleigh is such a relief because I know she's going to provide Arlo with a highly engaging adventure and she genuinely enjoys the time she spends with him. 10/10 recommend her.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember, wether it’s staying over at others places to keep their dog feeling safe in the comforts of their own home or simply stopping in for a walk, some belly skitches and bathroom breaks I’ve seen and done it all. Looking forward to meeting your furry family members. I currently work from home as my wife and I run our own flower business so my schedule is flexible for many of your pets needs !! We have two dogs at present time one an elderly cocker spaniel who enjoys short walks and long naps. Our big guy loves to walk and run out at ball diamonds and is a big sook. Depending on your dogs needs I am Fully capable of making sure they get the care and treatment they need while I watch / drop in with them.
