About: My sister said that if she reincarnates she wants to come back as an animal in my care. I thanked her, promising she would be my favorite. I am comfortable and capable with large barnyard animals to the smallest of household pets. I have been an animal lover and caregiver for my entire life. Now that I am retired, I am thrilled to devote my time to being with animals. I enjoy caring for them in their own home. And I have a secure fenced backyard for doggy guests. I am able to stay with them for added security and attention. I've been a hobby farm owner, worked on a farm, have had the joy of loving many animals. Walks and chores and quiet times are aspects I really enjoy. I feel I have a connection with animals and have a calm spirit that soothes them when needed. I am retired. So my weekdays and weekends are available. I can housesit or just visit depending on the location. I have a completely and securely fenced backyard. So I can offer doggy guests safety and worry-free play time. Lots of shade or sunny spots, a small wading pool for water lovers and even a good spot to dig in the dirt. About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember, I grew up with dogs and cats always in the house. They became my best friends and as I got older I realized that nothing would make me happier then getting to work with animals everyday. I started my own dog walking and sitting business when I was 18. I ran this for several years, earning the trust of countless people to enter their homes and care for their animals. I have a dog and three cats of my own and I have dogsat for friends and family on many occasions for prolonged periods. By day, I am a Pharmacy Technician, which means I’m patient, empathetic, and have medical experience (I’m very comfortable administering medication and injections). I work full time but I have the time to give your pet quality time and attention, walks, bathroom breaks, and whatever other special care they might need. For winter walks, I follow a safety-first policy. If sidewalks are icy, there is freezing rain/sleet, or conditions are unsafe for walking, I may need to cancel or reschedule. About: I've been loving on and taking care of pets since I was a little kid. I'm that person who gets along with pets more than people and go straight to them at a party 🙃 I love to take dogs out on lots of walks, cuddle cats while I'm crocheting, and make sure that they are well taken care of. Unfortunately due to my job, I am unable to have one myself, but would love nothing more then to spend a day with your furry friend. I have cared for Dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, you name it! I take the time to get to know your fur babies to provide care as close to what you would provide to them as I can. I work downtown so I am able to drop in on my lunch to check in or walk. About: As an animal lover with experience working in veterinary clinics, humane societies and a wildlife rehabilitation center, I’m an experienced sitter for any pet! I recently graduated from the Masters of Wildlife Biology at the University of Guelph and am now back living in Nova Scotia full time. Throughout my degree, I worked at the Guelph Humane Society as an animal care attendant, and worked at a wildlife rehabilitation center for the last 5 summers, as a wildlife care technician. I personally have a love for small critters - especially rabbits, rats and reptiles, and am more than happy to discuss drop-in for any “exotic” pet!
