About: I have had my own dog, Bear, for 10 years. He’s a highly excitable beagle-dachshund mix! As a university student, I’m always looking to give back to my community in the summers. I’d love to help out my fellow pet-lovers by ensuring their dog gets their needs exceeded while feeling comfortable and loved. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily life as a student since my summer-job has come to a close and school does not begin until September. I can help at those difficult times when both work and your dog need attention at once. I will always take the time to learn the precautions you have set up for your dog, whether that be fencing, gates, crates, or a designated play area. You can trust me to respect any special requests as I understand the needs dogs sometimes require. My own dog is on daily medication and requires mobility assistance for stairs.

About: I have experience with dog sitting a dog with anxiety and able to give medications.Also have experience feeding dogs raw food. Plus I have two Huskies of my own that I raise from puppies. I have experience with taking dogs for walks and to the dog park where they can be themselves. I'm currently looking after one dog occasionally when the person goes away. So I have alot of time in my day to look after other animals. I own two Huskies but my partner can look after them when I'm away. I always put the dog safety first and make sure they are not getting in anything they shouldn't. On a walk and I see another dog coming I will pull over to one side and let the dogs pass. If you have a dog with anxiety, I will listen to there body language. When they say it's enough it's enough. I will leave or turn around and go home. If they need to decompress I will give them time to do that.

About: I have had newfies and cats since I was a baby and have grown up taking care of pets. Over covid I got to train my parents 6 month old Newfie puppy, and since moving to Halifax I have gotten a super chatty Siamese cat who I am not allowed to stop talking to (she wont let me)! I have gotten to look after so many cats and dogs for friends and roommates and no matter if they're a couch dog or one who likes running, I'll be happy to make sure they're having fun and well fed! I work a very flexible job at a local bike shop so I'll always be able to make sure theyre well walked, fed, and exercised! With later morning starts I always start my day with some exercise so I would love a fuzzy friend to accompany me! I am vigilent about safety and am always making sure pets cant get into food, are watched well when playing, and that the spot their playing in is safe!

Our family had a wonderful experience with June. Our dog, Koa, can be slightly reactive, and June was so patient and confident with her — she was clearly very happy and enjoyed plenty of walks and adventures while we were away. Our cat also seemed very content and comfortable spending time with her. A few. happy kitty! Coming home to a clean and well-cared-for home was such a nice bonus after our trip. June was reliable, caring, and attentive, and we felt very at ease knowing our pets and home were in good hands.
