About: From my first family cat at age 3, to the German Shepherd I rescued and I trained to win two 4-H County Obediance Championships, to the two wonderful cats my kids and I adopted from the SPCA, I've spent my whole life loving and caring for cats and dogs, and I look forward to caring for and loving yours:) As a full-time high school Music and English teacher, I'm currently available late afternoons, evenings and weekends. But in the summer, I will have much more availability. My teenagers are old enough to stay home on their own, so short-term house sitting and overnight pet care are also possible for me. I'm not able to care for pets in my home, as I have two cats that may not appreciate animal vistors. However, I can visit your home, and possibly stay overnight short term.

I was pretty nervous using this app for the first time but when I met Rhonda she seemed very kind and reaponsible. She definitely did not let me down. Before I even reached my destination she had sent me pictures of my beloved cat Pi and subsequently everyday after as well. We couldn’t be happier with the care Amanda gave our two dogs, Bailey and Ruby! From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such loving and capable hands. Amanda went above and beyond to make sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which meant so much and really showed how much she genuinely cares. Brit was great! Lily warmed up to her after some initial hesitation on Lilys part..Brit had some tricks up her sleeve from her prior experience with animals and the rest of the week went well. Lots of updates and pics while we were away. Didn’t hesitate to touch base with questions. Returned home to a clean house and beds changed so was able to just relax on last day of vacation. Lily told me Brit was very snuggly and they had lots of time outdoors! Would definitely book Brit again
Lucy provided an excellent level of service and is a lovely person to have looking after the things that matter most to you. We were very nervous to leave our two rescued dogs with someone but Lucy provided a level of care and comfort to both the dogs and us that went above and beyond. She was a constant cuddle companion for the dogs and provided all the walks and daycare drop offs we asked for. The house was spotless when we came home. Lucy has a real attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism. We would have her back in a heartbeat.
Jeff looked after our two fur babies for a week at our house and was amazing. He sent updates as much as we wanted and more ❤️ our babies were very settled and happy with him and we were more than happy with everything he did for us. He even left us printed photos that he took when we arrived home. Our house was left perfectly clean and tidy and he even washed and dried the bedding. We will definitely be using Jeff again if he is available.
Brit was absolutely incredible!! From the start, she was an amazing communicator, came to meet Nala and get a sense of her need and connection before agreeing to the sitting job. She was beyond amazing with our high energy cat, making sure she was played with, got her mandatory snacks and in turn our cat loved and cuddled her back! She also did an amazing job caring for our house, leaving it nicer than how we left it. We are so grateful for how well she cared for Nala and how at ease she made us feel with multiple rounds of photos a day! Thank you so much!!
Rhiannon was fantastic at caring for our dog while our family was away for a week. Our dog is used to a full house of people and lots of action and so we were worried she'd be scared and lonely when we left for a week, but the dog clearly had a good time with Rhiannon. We really appreciated the photos and videos that Rhiannon sent. We could see our dog was happy and so we did not worry, which made our trip better. We also appreciated how professional and organized Rhiannon was. We had not used the Rover app before, and Rhiannon gave us a great experience so we will use it again (hopefully Rhiannon is available next time!) Thank you, Rhiannon!!
Benjamin was amazing with our three dogs. They are not often left alone which caused a bit of nervousness (from them and also me!) Benjamin sent pictures during the evening and was always quick and professional when responding. Our most nervous dog was sitting on the couch with him shortly after we left! We definitely recommend Benjamin any time!
