Safety, trust & environment
I live in a third floor apartment of a subdivided house and have a closed off balcony with a grass patch for any emergency bathroom breaks or lounging for pets. I don't have my own yard but very close to a park with a fenced in dog area and plenty of paths and green areas for walks. I have a very friendly 3 year old cat Poppy who loves dogs and no children.
Information Lucy F. would like to know about your pet
Let me know your pet's typical routine, when and what they like to eat, any dietary restrictions and other health needs. Whats's their energy level, are they shy or anxious? Favourite toys/how they like to play or if they prefer space, how often and what intensity of walks do they need, if they are particularly reactive and have any triggers, do they play well with other dogs, if they are alright off-leash, or if they try and run away/slip out the door frequently.
A typical day
I like to make sure any animals I'm looking after recieve enough enrichment/stimulation as needed, including walks through nearby parks and pathways, with plenty of playtime with toys and puzzles for more energetic pets. For more anxious pets I make sure they have a predictable safe space and quiet, but regardless I'm always around to make sure your pet is safe and happy. All pets are welcome on the couch and bed and as many cuddles as they want.

Grad Student and Pet-Lover!
Pet care experience
I've lived with dogs and cats my entire life and have been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends since grade school. I have looked after puppies and kittens as well as senior pets, and have experience administering pet's medication (orally, eye drops, etc.). I've cared for both high and low energy pets, social butterflies and anxious and shy pets, and as such understand that every animal has unique needs.i look forward to working with you to figure out what that looks like for your pet and making sure they get the best care possible.

Reviews

My cat can take a while to warm up to people, but with Lucy she was so comfortable and coming out for cuddles and play in no time!! Lucys communication was clear and I received lots of photos and updates. Will definitely rebook when I’m out of town again!

Lucy was so great with our cat. Brushes, playing and making sure water was topped up, litter clean and treats given. Thanks so much for taking care of Big George while we were away.
Lucy F. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.

Lucy was the best! Charlotte was well-taken care of and I appreciated the easy communication and regular updates. I’d absolutely book Lucy again!
