About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life of all sizes from a pug to currently having a German Sheppard. Currently employed at doggy daycare in Halifax. About: Despite what newbs say, caring for cats is very different than dogs (don't fight me, I will die on this hill!). I understand their needs to interact is on their terms and it's all about boundaries! I also believe in daily cat enrichment and scooping their tootsie rolls out of the little box everyday. From housesitting so your cat doesn't feel lonely but doesn't want attention to working with a cat on my lap, I'm your person. I am also happy to send update photos of their life while you're gone! I have experience giving cat meds (pills, medicated ear gel) and senior cats.

About: We've recently had to say goodbye to our adored 16 year old Miniature Dachshund and our family of four is seeking to share our home and love with other dogs. I am available to care for your dog during the day as I am not working and our two older children are in school. I am often not away from the house for more than 1 -2 hours at a time and I love spending time outdoors. We live in a pet friendly neighbourhood with sidewalks and easy access to both paved and wooded paths near the lake for lots of walks. While our backyards is not fully fenced, we do have a walkout deck and private grassy and wooded area for play and supervised breaks. We are from a long distance away and were worried about who we could trust with Eva. After careful consideration, we decided to ask Megan as she would take Eva in her home, she has a beautiful dog of her own, and she has a good area to take the dogs outdoors. As someone who is home all day, I am able to prioritize with the needs of your pets whether it be old age related health needs or young age related potty needs etc. I have a large partially fenced yard on a green belt. I have a dog line set up for brief outside uses but usually take dogs out in groups several times a day besides walks. For kitties, it is a three level home where cats are free to find their own spot/space. I feed all animals 1 to three times a day on a schedule for the most part. Dogs are allowed on some furniture with permission.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life of all sizes from a pug to currently having a German Sheppard. Currently employed at doggy daycare in Halifax. I am currently doing my masters and working part time but am someone who loves pets and spending my time walking on a daily basis As someone who has grown up with dogs and pets my entire life I am very comfortable with providing care for pets! I also currently work at a doggy daycare which has provided me with great experience!

“Ruck was an amazing sitter for my dog Bailey while I was travelling for a week. His dog Blue and Bailey were great buddies and he was beyond accomodating with my last minute request for a sitter after my plans fell through with another sitter. He sent updates throughout my trip and when I got back late from the airport to a dead car battery he was able to bring Bailey home to me that night! I would highly recommend him to anyone and I hope to be able to leave Bailey in his capable hands the next time I’m travelling 🙂”
