About: Cats have always held a special place in my heart. I recently said goodbye to my senior cat, a sweet Siamese/Himalayan mix who lived to 17. About: Despite what newbs say, caring for cats is very different than dogs (don't fight me, I will die on this hill!). I understand their needs to interact is on their terms and it's all about boundaries! I also believe in daily cat enrichment and scooping their tootsie rolls out of the little box everyday. From housesitting so your cat doesn't feel lonely but doesn't want attention to working with a cat on my lap, I'm your person. I am also happy to send update photos of their life while you're gone! About: I've owned and cared for dogs throughout my life, and am currently the proud owner of an 8-year-old beagle, Stella. She's very friendly with lots of friends and playmates, so our home is well adapted to four-legged visitors and guests :) I'm a freelance translator who works from home, with a flexible schedule and generally light workload, leaving me plenty of time to look after other dogs besides my own, including long walks and fun outings to the park. About: I’ve had three cat for more than 6years, I can take care of them very well. For dogs, I’m always the one that my friends comes to when they are away and needs a responsible dog walker. One of my friend’s dog is very energetic and a little hostile to other large dogs, so I took him out very early in the morning to dogs park and play frisbee with him. For my weekly routine, I’m currently working part-time and the schedule is not always fixed. Please contact me few days before you need the service. About: Hi! I'm Dakota. Born in Moncton, NB, grew up In Sackville. I am a red seal chef, trained in P.E.I at the Culinary Institute of Canada. I now live downtown Halifax working at the Wooden Monkey. I've owned pets my whole life, as well as taking care of familly pets. I've also worked for UPS and having to de-escalate agitated dogs was a daily occurrence. I work typically from 10am to 8pm, schedule changes quite a bit. Not doing this for money but for the love of the game. No dogs allowed in my appartment building sadly. My 2 cats litter boxes are cleaned twice a day. Fed every morning and evening like clockwork. They have a water dish in almost every room of the house. I realize how habitual animals can be and will follow any intructions to the letter.
