About: I have spent my entire life caring for dogs and cats and have developed a strong understanding of their behavior, body language, and individual needs. My experience ranges from day‑to‑day care to basic training, socialization, and creating safe, positive environments for pets of all temperaments. I am also the owner of a one‑year‑old Doodle named Lexie, whom I personally trained. She is a friendly, well‑socialized dog who loves meeting new companions and will be a wonderful playmate for your pet. Together, we strive to make every animal feel comfortable, engaged, and cared for. Please note I am unable to care for pets during the day on weekdays due to my work schedule. I am only able to offer my services in the evenings during weekdays and weekends. I currently work M-F during the day but I can offer my services in the evenings and weekends. I'm very flexible and can work with you as long as my work schedule doesn't interfere. I provide a safe, calm, and caring environment for every pet in my home or my client’s home. I believe in treating all animals with kindness, patience, and respect, and I make their comfort and well‑being my top priority. My home features a fully fenced, grassy yard where pets can safely explore, play, and enjoy outdoor time. Whether your pet prefers energetic play or quiet sniffing breaks, I ensure they are supervised at all times. I also have experience with positive‑reinforcement training, including helping dogs learn not to pull on walks. I truly enjoy walking dogs and would be happy to provide your pet with safe, structured, and enjoyable outings tailored to their pace and personality. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and routine will always come first while they are in my care.

About: I have been fostering and taking care of dogs for over ten years and have lots of experience with puppies through to seniors. I am in a pet friendly apartment with a lot of beautiful spaces for outdoor time and lots of parks nearby for us to walk to. My space is clean and uncluttered so nothing for pups to get into, and I love a good snuggle on the couch or at night with the pups. I recently lost my senior border collie. I have experience crate training puppies and have also done puppy training and obedience classes. I work from home so I’m available for lots of pee breaks and play sessions. I can easily maintain your dog's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and at home during their stay. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and one friendly, well-socialized dog who enjoys meeting new friends. I always introduce the dogs gradually and supervise interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable. If your dog needs their own space, I'm happy to accommodate this as well, including crating if requested. I'll follow your feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special instructions. I will send you updates if requested so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in caring hands.

About: I have always loved animals since I was a child! I worked as a volunteer dog care attendant with the SPCA for 9 years, and am certified in pet first aid. I also have a background in dog training and have dabbled in various dog sports over the years. Currently I share my home with my pit bull Atlas who LOVES all other dog friends, and my senior cat Kallie. I work from home so I'm able to be with your pet 24/7 during their stay with me! This way they don't need to be alone while you're away. I have a fully fenced yard and a very social pitbull who loves to make new friends and play. I can also offer daily walks while your pup is in my care if desired!

About: I know the essentials of dog care. I’ve lived in a home with a dog for a little over 12 years as an adult. I had the privilege of having my first pup Cooper, raising and training him. From this experience I learned some essential on senior dog care. He requires specialist veterinary care. I have also learned a lot from a family member who works in animal medicine I’ve gone through the incredibly cute puppy phase of training both of my pups. I use positive reinforcement always. Both my dogs thrived with this training and turned out well mannered but still have fun. With any dog I’ve had or looked after, I know exercise is essential. Of course the amount is breed dependant. The two pups I’ve had are high energy breeds, a husky shepherd mix and now a black Labrador. The saying indeed does ring true “a tired dog is a happy dog” I am currently available during the days and early evenings. I have a vehicle but live outside of HRM. It’s best for both people to have advanced notice to insure I can accommodate the request. I care for every pet with patience, kindness, and attention to their needs. Just like people no two dogs are the same. I would want to speak with you to make sure I understand what your furry friend requires to make it as stress free for them. I provide a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of love, supervision, exercise, and positive attention. I make sure your dog feels secure, happy, and well cared for while they’re with me.

I live in a house with a large fully fenced in backyard off a dead end quiet street. I have a golden retriever who is very friendly and loves all dogs so it would be fun if your pet is looking for a companion to play with. If you prefer your dog to be cared for alone, that is also not a problem.
