About: Hi! My name is Divya. I grew up in Halifax and now live in downtown Dartmouth. I work from home and have an unfenced green space where dogs often play in front of my house. Growing up, I had a German shepherd mix named Lola. She was a little sister to me, and I took care of her into her old age. I understand the patience and care elder dogs need. I have boarded my friends pets for up to two weeks and always send pictures and daily updates. I also take care of my parents dog, Shanti. She is a golden retriever mix. When she was a puppy I ensured she was safe while in heat prior to being spayed. Dogs have always been a part of my life and I hope I can make your canine friend feel safe and taken care of with daily adventures and lots of praise! My job offers the flexibility to work from home. I can easily take your canine friend for morning, lunchtime, and afternoon walks, and an adventure in the early evening. I live alone in a two bedroom, 1 bathroom flat. There is an unfenced field in front of my house where other dogs often run and play. I also can take your canine friends for walks in the Dartmouth Commons, Shubie Park, and to nearby lakes if your doggy is okay with car rides!

His dog Blue and Bailey were great buddies and he was beyond accomodating with my last minute request for a sitter after my plans fell through with another sitter. He sent updates throughout my trip and when I got back late from the airport to a dead car battery he was able to bring Bailey home to me that night! About: I grew up on a farm so I have been taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes since I was small. We have always had dogs and cats around the house and the farm and we learned the importance for caring for and loving animals. I have always been the go-to pet sitter for my friends and neighbours. Kate was amazing with our dog, Ladybug! She was super responsive and accommodated all of our requests and walked Ladybug multiple times a day. We will not hesitate to send Ladybug to Kate whenever we need to travel in the future.
Gigi was amazing with our dog, Arizona! She followed all of our instructions so carefully and was great about administering our dogs’ anxiety medication/keeping us updated about how she was doing during her stay. We had such a wonderful experience leaving our dog with Lou. Our dog can be a bit anxious, and she seemed to feel comfortable right away. Felicity (& Gail) were incredible with my rather nervous girl. My dog is very selective, and within mere minutes of meeting Felicity (who was going to be the main caregiver) in their home, Lizzie was sprawled out on the floor and happy to let herself be touched. They stayed in contact, kept me updated, and after 8 days, I picked up a very happy & tired doggo. Would recommend, and will absolutely return to them for future needs.
We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our senior cat, Zoey! They were so caring, attentive, and responsive throughout her stay.
