About: I have always had a cat in my life and am a passionate volunteer at local shelters that specialize in cat care for both kittens and palliative seniors. My two childhood cats both had kidney disease towards the end of their life, and I am familiar with the medical attention sick cats need, as well as how to administer their medication. Cats are truly my favourite thing in the world and I absolutely adore each one I meet. About: I've owned and cared for dogs throughout my life, and am currently the proud owner of an 8-year-old beagle, Stella. She's very friendly with lots of friends and playmates, so our home is well adapted to four-legged visitors and guests :) I'm a freelance translator who works from home, with a flexible schedule and generally light workload, leaving me plenty of time to look after other dogs besides my own, including long walks and fun outings to the park. I have a great set-up to board dogs in my home: I live with my dog (8-y.o.) and cat (10-y.o.) in a bright, clean suite with a nice balcony in a very pet-friendly apartment complex in the North End of Halifax. There's a semi-private courtyard out front where dogs like to congregate and socialize, I'm in a very walkable neighborhood close to downtown, the Commons and the waterfront, and I have a safe, reliable car that I use to take my dog and others on fun outings to the park (Point Pleasant Park is a favorite destination). About: I’ve had three cat for more than 6years, I can take care of them very well. For dogs, I’m always the one that my friends comes to when they are away and needs a responsible dog walker. One of my friend’s dog is very energetic and a little hostile to other large dogs, so I took him out very early in the morning to dogs park and play frisbee with him. About: We've recently had to say goodbye to our adored 16 year old Miniature Dachshund and our family of four is seeking to share our home and love with other dogs. I work typically from 10am to 8pm, schedule changes quite a bit. Not doing this for money but for the love of the game. No dogs allowed in my appartment building sadly. My 2 cats litter boxes are cleaned twice a day. Fed every morning and evening like clockwork. They have a water dish in almost every room of the house. I realize how habitual animals can be and will follow any intructions to the letter.

About: Hi, we’re Hayley and Lucy! We recently moved to Halifax and are offering pet care in HRM. We are proud pet parents to our two cats, Waluigi and Tiggy. We have almost 20 years of combined experience caring for pets, including cats, dogs, and small animals. Between us, we have extensive experience with feeding, administering medications, cleaning litter boxes and cages, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. We’ve lived with cats, rabbits, hamsters, and birds, giving us hands-on experience with a wide range of pet needs, routines, and personalities. Originally from Ontario, we understand what it’s like to not always have a large support system nearby when you need a helping hand. We hope to make life easier for pet parents by providing reliable and compassionate pet care support, whether that means checking in on your pets while you’re away, caring for your pets during vacations, or helping with dog walks while you’re at work! Between the two of us we have lots of flexibility to accommodate different routines. We have a car and can come to you on weekdays and weekends. Open availability on Fridays and weekends and available for walks and check-ins through Monday-Thursday in the mornings and evenings. We’re comfortable adapting to the pets needs and making them feel the most safe and comfortable by treating their space with respect and following their lead. We’re used to meeting and building rapport with new animals regularly and like to adjust our care based on owner/caretaker comments and instructions and the pets energy levels and demeanour.

“Mark & Evangeline were awesome with Zimba. They took very good care of him for the 2 weeks that we were away, and made him a part of their family. They sent us daily updates with pictures and short videos. They gave Zimba his medication in a timely manner, and followed his regular routine. About: I have experience for basic pet parenting. I have owned several dogs before. Now I own a 1 year + old dog (goldendoodle). I can feed, pet and play with them. Also, I did my own basic training with my puppy successfully. I can take care of your dog like it’s my own! I know how it feels when your dog is at home while you are away. I am currently working as a full time nurse and would love to spend my free times with puppies and doggies! My time is during my offs is flexible. I have a fenced yard in my place with 2 year + old golden doodle. I make sure your puppy/dog is well taken care of.
