“I'm currently away from home for a couple of months, leaving my spouse and our 6 month old Dachsund puppy, Noodle, so you can imagine my anxiety! Anyone who knows Dachshunds knows they're wild, energetic and stubborn, but Lucy handled him expertly, even bringing her own harness when we mentioned we were having trouble finding one that fit him! She was attacked with kisses (they have 0 awareness of personal space) and I was AMAZED at the speed she got that harness on, seeing as it's usually a two person job on the best of days. Lucy sent pictures and was so great with Noodle, he slept all afternoon afterwards, and I can tell you, the peace of mind is everything to me. Thank you Lucy!”

About: My friends, family and neighbours have trusted me with sitting, feeding, walking and caring for animals throughout my whole life. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. I am currently working a part time job so I have lots of time to spend with your animals!! However I prefer to board on weekends. About: Hi! I'm Dakota. Born in Moncton, NB, grew up In Sackville. I am a red seal chef, trained in P.E.I at the Culinary Institute of Canada. I now live downtown Halifax working at the Wooden Monkey. I've owned pets my whole life, as well as taking care of familly pets. I've also worked for UPS and having to de-escalate agitated dogs was a daily occurrence. I work typically from 10am to 8pm, schedule changes quite a bit. Not doing this for money but for the love of the game. No dogs allowed in my appartment building sadly. My 2 cats litter boxes are cleaned twice a day. Fed every morning and evening like clockwork. They have a water dish in almost every room of the house. I realize how habitual animals can be and will follow any intructions to the letter.

We have almost 20 years of combined experience caring for pets, including cats, dogs, and small animals.
