A typical day
Activities will depend on your pet's preferences and energy level. If they're social, I know several dog parks around the city. If not, a nice walk around the neighborhood or a walking trail is a go-to. With cats I can play with their toys with them for exercise, and offer some treats or catnip.

Pet care experience
I have dog shelter experience from 2018 (for 1 year) and I've been volunteering at the SPCA in Dartmouth since January 2024. I'm trained to understand dogs behaviours and needs. I grew up with small breed dogs, but I have the time, patience, and energy to work with any breed. I have dog-sat for neighbours and family members over the years, and I regularly walk my neighbour's pitbull. I'm able to brush, trim nails, and administer medication by request.

Keisha does a great job with my shy cat, Walter. He seems to really have taking a liking to her as he doesn’t hide when she comes to check in! Great communication keeps my mind at ease while I’m away. Highly recommend!
Keisha is fantastic! She checked in on my very shy and sometimes saucy 3 year old Himalayan cat, Walter. She managed to make him feel comfortable enough to come out to greet her on his own, which is not something he does often. I highly recommend Keisha. She’s great!
Keisha was awesome with our bonded pair of skittish kitties. I had her come in once a day for four days. Loved getting the report card every day with pictures and knowing how much of their food they ate, how much they interacted, etc. This was my first time using Rover, and she made me feel fully comfortable with using the platform and leaving my little guys in her capable hands. Thanks, Keisha!
Keisha was amazing! Great communication, left the place perfectly near and tidy, and was great with Zoey and seemed very understanding of cat behaviour. Will definitely go to her again next time we need a sitter :)
