I've been walking dogs since I could stand on my own two feet. Starting with caring for my family’s dogs at home, to becoming the go-to pet sitter for my extended family and friends, booking clients on Rover, and lastly owning my own dog. With adopting my own dog, I’ve worked on my training skills for teaching tricks and learned a lot more about behaviour and body language. I have lots of experience caring for senior dogs. This includes helping around them with mobility issues or partial blindness, and administering regular medication. I also play ultimate frisbee so you don’t have to worry about my throwing skills when playing fetch with your pet :)

My base goal for pet care is to ensure that whatever habits the owner has informed me is regular for their pet is being met. This includes eating, drinking, peeing, pooping, and energy levels. I also like to ensure that everything returns as it was before I arrived. Meaning taking care of hanging up leashes, putting away walking accessories, and diligently locking up.

For a few months, Jillian walked my dog, Ellie, while I was at work during the day. She is a genuinely kind and caring person who my dog fell in love with. She is an amazing communicator (really put me at ease) and made coordinating everything so easy. We were so lucky and grateful to have you as our walker!
Jillian is amazing! She takes great care of my dog, Ella who is high anxiety. She has a calming presence and is very attentive to Ella’s needs, and also is excellent with keeping me updated with each visit. I highly recommend Jillian to anyone looking :)
Jillian was so helpful in being able to accommodate a walk at the last minute. She was able to navigate walking both of my leash-reactive dogs. This isn’t our first time hiring Jillian and it won’t be our last :)

Jillian was very flexible with the timing of an evening drop-in visit and I felt very comfortable having her in my house. She followed all instructions to the letter, and I came home to some happy, tired dogs!

Schedule
I have a dog of my own who I walk daily. Her walk times are very flexible but I do have to work this into my availability. This has not affected a client booking before.
