About: I've grown up caring for dogs, both adults and seniors! I enjoy walking them, taking them to the dog park, and have experience giving baths and medications. I've also volunteered with a dog rescue organization at adoption events (with puppies and adult dogs) and transporting dogs to vet appointments! I'm a graduate student so I will have some free time in the evenings and weekends to care for your pet! I can also plan to take some time during the morning and/or afternoon to walk or watch your pet given a couple of days notice. I will be able to care for your pet in your home. I can give any food and/or medications if needed, let them outside and/or take them for a walk, and play and cuddle of course! I would like to tailor my care for you and your pets' needs, so I'd be happy to help in any way I can!

About: I have experience in training dogs as well as pet-sitting. Feel free to let me know anything adjustments or accommodations you pet needs that would make them more comfortable and happy! I am currently working part-time at a research lab with Dalhousie and spend a lot of extra time in Downtown Halifax, and I would love to be able to fill that extra time hanging out with animals! I have my own dog that can join your pet on a walk or for play-time if that is something you would like. I also know plenty of pet-friendly cafes and areas that would be fun for any pet to visit!

About: I’ve always grown up with labs and many cats. I’ve trained our family puppies, administered oral/topical medications for sick and recovering pets, and have helped raise kittens from birth (with their mama around). I’ve cared for dogs from family members, friends, and coworkers. I’m comfortable with sleepovers or just to keep fluffy buddies company when home alone. I have a chronic illness that keeps me from working full time so most of my time is spent at home or out for leisurely exercise. I’m very flexible and adjustable to fit you and your pets schedule. I always consider my health when accepting jobs so I can assure that your buddies will get the quality care they need. I’m a cuddly person and love to make pets feel happy and relaxed. I’ll make sure any training, eating, and potty breaks are aligned with their normal schedules. Daily journals will be kept so that you know exactly how your pets day went. If caring for ill/disabled pets, I can also record medication times and detailed food/bathroom reports. Most assuredly, I will always promote play and fun!

Hopefully, I'll become a default for you as well! Whether it is a dog, cat, or hedgehog, I am always happy to look after a little family member. I grew up in a family full of animal lovers, and that is a trait I have as well! Over the past few years, I've been responsible for weekly care for a dog from 8 weeks old (he's 3 now!). I have a variety of experience looking after dogs big and small, young and old. In my spare time, I volunteer with Elder dog walking many different dogs for seniors in the HRM. These dogs have a variety of needs and interests, but I always try to make their day the best! I've cared for cats of all ages (and personalities). I'm a graduate student with the option of remote work. As a result, my schedule is flexible. I have a few consistent commitments throughout the week, but am happy to work with you to figure something out :) When looking after your dog, I want to be sure I know everything there is to know. What toys are their favourite, do they take medication, and how much food do they get? For walks, it is important to me that they have the appropriate gear to keep them safe (like a harness and a light if it is night). I'll treat your baby like my own, and I promise I'll keep them safe! I have a flexible schedule as a grad student working in research roles. Taking dogs for walks is a great add-on to my day as fits wonderfully with my active lifestyle. I will not offer services in my own home. In your home, I will discuss the location of all necessary items, if areas are off limits, and who to contact for an emergency. I will be sure to understand your dogs' needs and your rules.
