Reliable pet care!
Hi, we’re Hayley and Lucy! We recently moved to Halifax and are offering pet care in HRM. We are proud pet parents to our two cats, Waluigi and Tiggy. We have almost 20 years of combined experience caring for pets, including cats, dogs, and small animals. Between us, we have extensive experience with feeding, administering medications, cleaning litter boxes and cages, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. We’ve lived with cats, rabbits, hamsters, and birds, giving us hands-on experience with a wide range of pet needs, routines, and personalities. Originally from Ontario, we understand what it’s like to not always have a large support system nearby when you need a helping hand. We hope to make life easier for pet parents by providing reliable and compassionate pet care support, whether that means checking in on your pets while you’re away, caring for your pets during vacations, or helping with dog walks while you’re at work!

We’re comfortable adapting to the pets needs and making them feel the most safe and comfortable by treating their space with respect and following their lead. We’re used to meeting and building rapport with new animals regularly and like to adjust our care based on owner/caretaker comments and instructions and the pets energy levels and demeanour.

The most phenomenal sitters! My boys and I lucked out with Hayley and lucy. I couldn’t have asked for more attentive and thoughtful care for my kitties. From photos to detailed reports, I couldn’t rest assured they were doing well.
This was my second time booking with Hayley and Lucy, and once again it was a great experience! They took wonderful care of my babies, followed all of my care instructions, and provided lots of pictures and detailed updates throughout the stay. Knowing they were so well cared for gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Hayley and Lucy to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet sitters, and I will definitely book with them again!

Hayley and Lucy were absolutely fabulous! Took such good care of my cat while I was away and administered his medication with some cuddles and toys! I felt very comfortable having them check on him and they were extremely communicative and friendly. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you!!!!

Schedule
Between the two of us we have lots of flexibility to accommodate different routines. We have a car and can come to you on weekdays and weekends. Open availability on Fridays and weekends and available for walks and check-ins through Monday-Thursday in the mornings and evenings.
