I'd like to know the pets behaviour and how I am advised to approach him or her! I understand that each animal is different when it comes to trust and that some are hesitant to leave their owners therefore it's important to be informed on what works best!
A typical day
I love going on walking trails and walking downtown to socialize with the fur babies. A lot of attention is also important to me, dog or cat, because they are probably missing their people ❤️

Pet care experience
I graduated from Dalhousie University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science (Bioveterinary Science) and a certificate in Animal Welfare. I have been and continue to apply to the Atlantic Veterinary College with hopes of becoming a veterinarian! I currently work at Coastal Care Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital, and I previously worked at Metro Animal Emergency Clinic. I have experience working at two animal shelters (SPCA) as well as experience working at another veterinary clinic. I have been doing pet sitting through Rover for a little over two years, including drop ins, walks, as well as house sitting! I have experience with wildlife as well through Hope for Wildlife. ☺️ I currently have three cats at my apartment, 9 years old and 3 years old (two). I've had cats, dogs, and other small animals since I was born and have a huge passion and love for every single one of them! Although Rover only offers cats and dogs, I'm more than willing to discuss other exotic animals and farm animals! I have experience pet sitting rabbits and hamsters, and some exotics experience from work. I have farm experience from helping out on my partners family farm. I'm in school full time for Medical Laboratory Technology and I would love to look after your babies if it works around my school schedule! I find the most difficult part about working with animals is handing them back to their owner 🥺

Highly recommend Britney! It was a pleasure to have her stay with our animals. She took great care of our pets and our home. Britney sent pictures and updates, helped make sure things were taken care of at our house and kept everything nice and clean. The bed sheets and towels were washed, the floors vacuumed and more! We will definitely reach out to have her again and recommend her to anyone looking.
Brit was great! Lily warmed up to her after some initial hesitation on Lilys part..Brit had some tricks up her sleeve from her prior experience with animals and the rest of the week went well. Lots of updates and pics while we were away. Didn’t hesitate to touch base with questions. Returned home to a clean house and beds changed so was able to just relax on last day of vacation. Lily told me Brit was very snuggly and they had lots of time outdoors! Would definitely book Brit again
