If I could give 10 stars and 2 thumbs up I would”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from playful pup to senior dog with multiple needs. We have boarded dogs for weekends or monthly trips. I send along dog photos of the places we go and people we meet. We have two teenage boys at home that love having a companion. We had a mixed breed dog for 15 years, while I miss her terribly I think having some dogs in our lives would be amazing! I am always up for a walk, play or cuddle. I have experience with bathing, taken obedience classes and dispensing medication. I work mostly from home and have a quiet fall and winter schedule so would be around for the duration of the visit. Your pup will be part of the family! If they like car rides we are the people for that or snuggles on the couch with a good book. Your dog would be well cared for! Yours would be the only dog at our house and have our undivided attention . We have a large yard for quick trips outside on leash and close to parks and trails for longer walks. Depending on the activity level they can even sun bathe on the back deck!
“Claire is great with our older rescue dog. They’ve become fast friends and he loves spending time at her place while we’re away. She’s super responsive and attentive to his needs. Definitely a go-to pet sitter and pal for us, will definitely be hitting her up again!”

“Rain was lovely to deal with and took wonderful care of Ellie! Rain accommodated Ellie however she could, checked in with me and sent lots of pictures! Ellie was happy when I picked her up and I could tell she enjoyed her stay! We will definitely be going back!”

About: I've been walking dogs and sitting for cats for years now, so I've seen it all: the zoomies, the guilt-trip stares, the dramatic sighs when dinner is two minutes late. Dogs get walks matched to their vibe (chill stroll or full sprint, your call). Cats get the respect they clearly believe they're owed, plus their exact routine so nobody starts plotting revenge. Meds, anxiety, quirky habits — I've handled it all and I'm not easily rattled. Basically: your pet gets a sitter who actually knows what they're doing, and probably likes your animal more than most humans. Let's meet! I currently work 730-5pm schedule,Monday through Thursday. I can be free most evening and weekends to help you with your fur baby. I do drive and can take them to parks and swim spots. I offer in the clients home sitting for dogs but can take the kitties to my house :) but I can walk with pups anytime.
“Gail and Felicity took excellent care of Stevie once again. He seems so happy and content with them! I also totally trust them to look after his eye issues - and that's a huge relief for me!”

“We’re so happy! First time using the Rover app and struck gold. Giulia is a wealth of dog knowledge. We were very impressed with all the ways she goes over and above to ensure your pet is properly cared for. We never worried thanks to her detailed updates. We will use her services again. Our big pup was very loved!”

“My dog Rupert had a wonderful time staying with Renita, I couldn’t recommend her more! She asked very thoughtful questions about his needs and preferences which demonstrated great knowledge and comfort working with dogs of all kinds! But most of all I could tell that Rupert was very well loved. This was in the way she spoke about and interacted with him — he was instantly comfortable in her care. I loved that Renita provided photo updates throughout the day so that we could stay in contact and I never felt that far away. Will rebook in a heartbeat 💗🐶”

“My two energetic goldens had a great time! They got lots of walks, fetch and cuddles. They clearly felt at home. I got plenty of photo and video updates and great communication. Highly recommend!”

About: Walking dogs was my main part-time job all through elementary and highschool. Now I have a dog of my own so it has once again become part of my daily routine. Sunny and I are always looking for new friends so would be excited to meet your pup! I am a young professional working remotely in the environmental field. I have quite a bit of flexibility in my schedule to work in some pet care! I am an active person keen to get outside with your pet! I am responsive to pets needs whether that means a trip to the bathroom or a game of tug-of-war.
About: I’m a 37-year-old work from home professional who genuinely loves dogs and currently has a quiet, pet-free home. After losing my own last year due to old age, I’m not quite ready to have another dog of my own, but I’d love the opportunity to care for yours. Because I don’t have other pets and only accept one household at a time, your dog will receive my full attention in a calm environment. I have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, including administering oral medications. My own dog lived with genetic IVDD, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and gentle handling can be. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind through regular updates and photos. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and am home throughout the day. This allows me to give your dog plenty of attention and stick to their normal routine. Your dog will be staying in my quiet, 1,400 sq. ft. apartment in Bedford. The building is small, well maintained, and located in a safe neighbourhood right next to a park, making it easy for regular walks and outdoor breaks. I’m on the second floor and right beside the stairwell, so we can head outside quickly without using elevators. I only care for one family’s pets at a time, so your dog will have a calm, comfortable environment during their stay.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire childhood and also currently have 1 very friendly beagle in my apartment! I primarily work from home so am very available to look after a dog :) I generally work from home and will be available to walk and take care of your dog. I will walk your dog with my beagle, Maggie. My dogs are very good with other dogs and very friendly. I will take your dog out frequently and make sure they enjoy the time away from you as much as possible.

“Sarah was great with Beckham, was patient with him and put up with his quirks as a senior dog learning to adjust to his senior-ness. She also provided updates of him during his stay. Thanks for taking such good care of him, Sarah!”
About: We have a 13 lbs Shih Tzu who gets along great with most dogs. He is well loved and we would treat your dog the same. I work 8-3 but am off during the summer/ weekdays and holidays. Your dog would have lots of outdoor time and would be well cared for. My dog isn’t crated most days but is able to be. I would prefer to crate both dogs until the 2 became use to each other.

Remi Mae had the best time with Jessica and her dog Lemon! She was amazing at giving daily updates with pictures and videos. Remi was pooped after her weekend full of fun and play! She was super easy to communicate with and treated Remi like her own! I will be taking Remi back to Jessica!! I cannot recommend enough :)

This was our first time using Rover and I have to say like any care situation I was nervous leaving my two dogs (11years and 18 months) with a “stranger”. They too were nervous and wanted to leave with us at drop off. Well I had no need to worry— not only did Gina’s kindness and loving manner towards both pups put me at immediate ease—she was amazing at keeping us updated on how they settled in and playing with her own dogs. We were away for three days for our son’s wedding and her updates and photos really eased my mind and gave me quite the chuckle seeing my older dog cuddled snoozing with her dog. She was AMAZING and we would not only highly recommend we hope to book again in the fall for another weekend.

David and Emma were fantastic with our dog, Stanley. He has quite a few quirky routines and specific needs, and they took excellent care of him and followed everything perfectly. They truly went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to have them look after Stanley again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.

We had a wonderful experience with Amanda. My dog has a tendency to do marking inside the house, and she handled the situation with so much patience, understanding, and care. She made sure he was always safe, comfortable, and truly happy during his stay. What I really appreciated was how knowledgeable she is, she even gave me helpful advice on how to better manage this behavior in the future. She and her partner are a very kind and experienced couple, and it truly shows in how they care for dogs. I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone who wants to leave their dog and not have to worry at all while they are away. When I picked my dog up, he was actually missing her, which says everything about how well he was treated.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
