“This was our first time leaving our pup and when we found Claire we were so grateful. She was absolutely delightful and so professional We felt totally comfortable with her. Nutmeg warmed up quickly to her and enjoyed their walks together. Loved getting the feedback info and pics each time. Can’t say enough how glad we were to have found Claire.”

About: Being around dogs comes naturally to me as my family always kept family dogs as well as fostered. I am familiar and comfortable with a variety of large breed dogs, including those I've lived with: Aussie, German/Husky mixes, Komondor, Great Pyrs and female am staffs. I am currently raising and training my own puppy, Pretzel. We have attended several professional training courses together and his training is going very well. At these sessions I was also introduced to first aid measures for dogs, which I hope to never need but I am glad to know. I have a home in Sackville with a very large, fenced yard and am looking for clients in my area. I also like to make healthy dog food toppers and treats in my spare time! I have taken some time off from my full-time job to enjoy my new home and spend more time with Pretzel. I ran a restaurant for five years alongside my mum, and am now savouring some me-time. My schedule is very flexible. I will follow all instructions given for drop-in visits and walks. I would like to get to know your dog and become familiar with his/her environment, and ensure that your animal feels comfortable with me

About: I have grown up with puppies and dogs in my family and my own household. I have been around small and large dogs. Having a 66lb dog myself, it has allowed me to learn the ways of training a larger dog but I have also taken care of puppies and cats. I also have a 11 year old black cat named Arthur who happens to be diabetic. (Please note: dogs and cats are separated in the home for doggy daycare) I am available mornings, afternoons or evenings for your fur babies. Please let me know your preference for times and preference for duration of visits. I have a fully fenced yard, A/C, and heat in the home, if needed, and my own dog who likes to play with other dogs. I am also familiar with the vets and animal hospital in the area. We can work together to develop a schedule for your dog or cat.

About: I love to work with dogs and have many years experience doing training. I am a force free handler and believe in reward based methods. I can continue any training for walks and household manners to help with consistency. My pup Otis is reactive and very insecure, I have a lot of patience and knowledge when it comes to walking reactive dogs, helping them build confidence and giving them lots of time to sniff, which helps them relax when they are feeling anxious. I have had 5 cats over the past 22 years, two with diabetes that required insulin and blood sugar monitoring. Cats are my jam and I know all the right scratch spots. Things I can help your dog with Crate training Muzzle training Simple tricks Place Self control Desensitization When I walk dogs I focus mostly on the sniff aspect, it is the most enriching part of the walk and burns a lot more energy then walking, we will find all the best sniff spots and explore with our noses. I have a good understanding of dog behavior, I do my best to read their body language to understand their comfort level. If you have a reactive dog, I can help! Please note - I do not offer over night stays, if you need full day of care please select house sitting. Feel free to use this promo code to save $20 on your first booking DANNYB41392 Payment information: Rover fees are 20% I receive 80% of booking cost + 100% of any tips. Please reach out if you have any questions :) I am working part time and my schedule changes weekly 1-2 shifts during week days. I will require at least 3 hours notice for cancellations. My house has a lot of structure, and low stress vibe. Balanced energy and clear expectations help a dog to be at peace and help with anxiety and insecurities. Depending on the animals needs I try to find enriching activities that will offer the highest reward, my pup loves to sniff so we do scent work and food scattering in the back yard.

About: I've had pets my whole life. In addition to taking care of my own pets and family and friends pets, I have many years of volunteer experience. I have experience giving medications as well. I have a genuine love for dogs and cats and they tend to know that and reciprocate. Now retired, I have lots of time for cuddles and walks. I love getting out for walks every day and I am very flexible with my schedule. I will treat your pet as if he is my own! I have a fenced yard that is very secure. Built for my past dog who was an escape artist. I can crate if required, but I prefer to cuddle with your dog or cat on the couch if that's ok. I currently have no other pets of my own. My home is quite spacious with lots of windows, perfect height to allow for nose prints looking out.
