Safety, trust & environment

My house has a lot of structure, and low stress vibe. Balanced energy and clear expectations help a dog to be at peace and help with anxiety and insecurities. Depending on the animals needs I try to find enriching activities that will offer the highest reward, my pup loves to sniff so we do scent work and food scattering in the back yard.

Information Danny B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, sensitivities or reactivity so I can make sure they will feel safe and secure for the duration of their stay.

A typical day

I love getting to know different pups and learning what their interests are. We have lots of great places to walk in my neighborhood, wide open spaces we can explore on a long leash and I know all the great sniff spots. I have lots of enriching activities and exercises we can do once I know what they will be the most excited about.

Fearful & Reactive Dog Walker

Pet care experience

Not every dog loves the world around them—and that’s okay. I have a special interest in working with reactive, anxious, and fearful dogs. My own dog, Otis, has taught me just how much patience, understanding, and thoughtful handling can help dogs feel safer on walks. I understand how stressful it can be to trust someone else with a dog who needs extra support, and my goal is to provide calm, safe, low-stress walks where your dog can feel comfortable and successful. I am comfortable walking dogs who bark, lunge, need extra space, or find the outside world overwhelming. Every dog is an individual, so I tailor each walk to their needs—whether that means choosing quieter routes, giving plenty of distance from triggers, taking sniff breaks, or simply moving at a pace that keeps them regulated. My focus is on positive, calm handling, reading canine body language, and setting dogs up for success. If you're looking for someone who understands reactive dogs and can keep walks safe and low-stress, I’m happy to help. If you’re hoping to work toward calmer walks over time, we can talk about your goals and whether that’s something I can support.

Danny was an amazing pet sitter! She was friendly, professional, and always on time. She followed all of our instructions carefully and took excellent care of our senior cat, Sagan. She made sure his food and supplements were prepared properly, even left him some catnip, and spent time playing with him to keep him happy and engaged. She also kept everything clean by regularly cleaning the litter boxes and tidying up after him. We highly recommend Danny to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and attentive pet sitter. We would definitely book her again!

Danny was able to accommodate our short notice request and has no trouble with our pets. The cats seem to like her when she visits. Thanks Danny.B

Danny was great and very acknowlegable with the cats and very competent with our diabetic cat. She had no problems with giving insulin and needles and the cats seem to enjoy her time there. Danny was also very good with time and was there within the time frame given even woth her busy schedule. I would be glad to recommend her to anyone that needs a sitter especially with cats with extra needs. Thanks Danny B. very much for your time and effort.

I've been learning from dog behaviourists over the last 10 years about what dogs need to live their best lives and Danny is the BEST person I know at putting this into practice. Don't take my word for it, when she sought help from a well reputed dog behaviourist for her reactive dog, they said Danny was the goal for most clients! Danny's whole being is about caring for animals and their lives (seriously, check out her animal art at www.dannybstudios.rocks). And she is always my first choice when it comes to animal and pet care. Not to mention how great she is at communication and making things work for humans too. I can't say it enough, she really is awesome!!
