Not every dog loves the world around them—and that’s okay. I have a special interest in working with reactive, anxious, and fearful dogs. My own dog, Otis, has taught me just how much patience, understanding, and thoughtful handling can help dogs feel safer on walks. I am comfortable walking dogs who bark, lunge, need extra space, or find the outside world overwhelming. Every dog is an individual, so I tailor each walk to their needs—whether that means choosing quieter routes, giving plenty of distance from triggers, taking sniff breaks, or simply moving at a pace that keeps them regulated. My focus is on positive, calm handling, reading canine body language, and setting dogs up for success.
