About: I have had dogs all my life. My last two dogs were rescues that moved three countries with me and were my world. I cared for them from puppies through their golden years. Experienced at dog walking and giving medication and a safe place for your pet to sleep. Have taken care of others dogs in my home while their owners are away as dogs deserve a vacation too, filled with walks in the park to play with other dogs, tail wags, and snuggles at home. From October I shall be working a hybrid job with 3 days in the office and two at home. Depending on the care you are looking for, your dog(s) will be walked in the morning and the evening and for those days I am working at home, there will be extra playtime midday. If you are looking for a long weekend away, I am happy to discuss shifting my schedule (given enough notice) to make sure that a long weekend away works for both you and your pet(s). I provide pet sitting/boarding within my home with meals and walks provided and a safe place for your dog to lay their head. If you are local, I am also happy to provide dog walking services.

“We were visiting Nova Scotia from NE Ohio. We were staying in Amherst Shore but visiting the Halifax area and Peggy’s Cove for a day. We couldn’t leave the pup in the camper for that long but needed somewhere for him for a few hours while we went to the Maritime museum. Everything worked out perfectly from drop off to pick up. I felt very comfortable leaving him with Emily and he seemed very happy and comfortable when we picked him up. If we are ever back in the area would definitely consider leaving him with her again.”

“Megan was great! My Wife and I went to our daughter's graduation at Del and needed someone to take care of our 8 month old Siberian Husky, Eva. We are from a long distance away and were worried about who we could trust with Eva. After careful consideration, we decided to ask Megan as she would take Eva in her home, she has a beautiful dog of her own, and she has a good area to take the dogs outdoors. All day long Megan kept us very well update (with pictures) on how Eva was doing. I would definitely recommend Megan to anyone who is looking for a sitter. Also, Megan's dog is awsome! About: Hi! My name is Divya. I grew up in Halifax and now live in downtown Dartmouth. I work from home and have an unfenced green space where dogs often play in front of my house. Growing up, I had a German shepherd mix named Lola. She was a little sister to me, and I took care of her into her old age. I understand the patience and care elder dogs need. I have boarded my friends pets for up to two weeks and always send pictures and daily updates. I also take care of my parents dog, Shanti. She is a golden retriever mix. When she was a puppy I ensured she was safe while in heat prior to being spayed. Dogs have always been a part of my life and I hope I can make your canine friend feel safe and taken care of with daily adventures and lots of praise! My job offers the flexibility to work from home. I can easily take your canine friend for morning, lunchtime, and afternoon walks, and an adventure in the early evening. I live alone in a two bedroom, 1 bathroom flat. There is an unfenced field in front of my house where other dogs often run and play. I also can take your canine friends for walks in the Dartmouth Commons, Shubie Park, and to nearby lakes if your doggy is okay with car rides!

About: I can provide a loving, structured, safe environment with a focus on positive reinforcement. I have experience with almost every kind of pet, but specialize in canines and kitties. As someone who is home all day, I am able to prioritize with the needs of your pets whether it be old age related health needs or young age related potty needs etc. I have a large partially fenced yard on a green belt. I have a dog line set up for brief outside uses but usually take dogs out in groups several times a day besides walks. For kitties, it is a three level home where cats are free to find their own spot/space. I feed all animals 1 to three times a day on a schedule for the most part. Dogs are allowed on some furniture with permission.

About: We've recently had to say goodbye to our adored 16 year old Miniature Dachshund and our family of four is seeking to share our home and love with other dogs. I am available to care for your dog during the day as I am not working and our two older children are in school. I am often not away from the house for more than 1 -2 hours at a time and I love spending time outdoors. We live in a pet friendly neighbourhood with sidewalks and easy access to both paved and wooded paths near the lake for lots of walks. While our backyards is not fully fenced, we do have a walkout deck and private grassy and wooded area for play and supervised breaks. I am available 24/7 to care for your pet. I can provide undivided attention to your pup during the day and we can offer lots of attention and play given all family members are dog lovers. Typically, someone is always home and if not, we're only away for 1-2 hours at a time. Your pet will have access to our entire house; however, we also have secure gates available should you wish to resist to the main level. We also have a pet stroller should your dog have any mobility issues.

About: I have always loved animals since I was a child! I worked as a volunteer dog care attendant with the SPCA for 9 years, and am certified in pet first aid. I also have a background in dog training and have dabbled in various dog sports over the years. Currently I share my home with my pit bull Atlas who LOVES all other dog friends, and my senior cat Kallie. I work from home so I'm able to be with your pet 24/7 during their stay with me! This way they don't need to be alone while you're away. I have a fully fenced yard and a very social pitbull who loves to make new friends and play. I can also offer daily walks while your pup is in my care if desired!
