About: Update: With the great support and love, I have teamed up with my dog & cat loving husband to provide better and more efficient services for all the pet parents! It all started with two senior cats 10 years ago who both lived up to 19yros under my care. In their final years, I provided them the calmness and comfort they wanted, and I have been doing so since then. My View: At parties or gatherings, I prefer to go to the animals as I always have a better connection with them. My philosophy of interacting and taking care of cats and dogs, is always, to let them be comfortable, relaxed happy as they want, and respect their choices. I see them as families and friends, and try to understand their behaviour and needs from their perspective. My Methods: With 2 dogs and 4 cats at home, I use positive reinforcement, redirecting, and a lot of decompressing method during stressful situations. There is no bad dog or cat to me. I educate myself about animal behaviour constantly, as they deserve the best care and life, and it’s up to us to provide it to them. I like going on walks with my dogs, chasing and playing with them in my fenced yard, doing scent games and hide and seek games at home, and home agility sports. I like throwing springs and playing strings with my cats and always love a good cuddle. Even if there is no toy, I can always think of creative things to have fun with dogs and cats. If they like to chill and cuddle, so do I :) I am well aware of the daily routine and life cycle of cats and dogs. I am a calm, mature, and responsible woman. When I walk dogs, my focus is solely on the them. I am aware of the environment, and avoid stressful and over-stimulated situations in advance, and allow them to sniff. I am very experienced with reactive dogs, as I have 2 of my own. I can walk maximum 2 dogs at a time, as long as 1 behaves well on leash. My dogs are heavy (80+74lb) and I can control them at my best if situation gets rough. I can also walk very fast if needed. My Fees: They are set so that your dog/cat will 100% receive - full attention (I am not working another job while taking care of your pet) - high quality interaction (play, petting, massage, walk, comfort, respect, etc) - freeze dried meaty treats (unless it is provided) - text and photo updates (sometimes videos too -unless you do not want to be bothered while you are away) - Perfection in following the instruction you provide For House Sitting/Overnight sitting: The rate listed on ROVER is overnight stay, from evening to the next morning. (5pm-8am ish) If you need extended stay beyond just overnight, we can certainly discuss the options. I have high standard in myself while providing care. You can trust me in being with your pets and I guarantee comfort, interaction, love to your furry families. My Crew: I have 6 animals and it is a big crew :) They all listen to me very well. My dogs are very playful and social. My cats are very communicative and responsive. I have successfully trained my cats a few tricks. I team up with my husband Mike and we are available at anytime! We are not busy in my personal life. Just the usual taking care of my house, my yard, and my furry crew :) I will listen to your need at your home, and follow all the instructions you provide about your pets. My eyes are on the animals the entire time and I am very aware of the surrounding environment.

About: I recently had to say good-bye to my 16.5 yo soulmate Jagger. Jagger had many health issues from his puppy years to his senior years which I financed (with ZERO hesitation 🥰) & managed daily. I feel that I learned so much from his various healthcare issues that can carry over into caring for your loving soulmate. I am experienced in anything from eye/eardrops, administering oral medications, and even insulin injections. I also successfully crate trained Jagger as a puppy and feel that this kept him to be a calm, independent, and happy dog well into his senior years. I have no children so I have lots of time and space to devote to your beloved pets. I am looking forward to opening my home to them and sharing my love with your dogs (or cats) who may be in need of a safe space while you are away. There are also many lovely parks, beaches, lakes and trail adventures for your dog to experience in my neighborhood and I look forward to sharing all of them with your pets! I work from home so have the freedom to have playtime , walks, and potty breaks many times throughout the day and night with absolute patience and love I am able to accommodate any size dog or cat Inside my home. With lots of large windows for them to look outside and watch the world go by. I also have lots of beds, treats and toys on hand to help make your pet’s stay comfortable!

“James is amazing for providing updates and making full use of the Rover app while utilizing all of it’s features like the Rover card for example. My dog Snoop really enjoyed his time with James and Juna! He offers group pack walks which is very appealing. Overall a great experience, I highly recommend his services and we will definitely be back! :)”

About: We are dog people! IYKYK right? We've had dogs for a long time, from childhood besties to adult faithful companions. We raised a beagle from 12 weeks to 12 years old. We've adopted dogs midlife and have cared for multiple senior dogs. We've run the gamut of situations and are well equipped to make your dogs feel at home. Every dog we've had has been a big part of our family. Our hearts are open. In the Spring of 2025 we had to say goodbye to our beloved chocolate lab, Sandy. Now our pet free home is open to care for your dogs. Amy works from home full time (Dave is home 2 days/week) so we have lots of flexibility to dote on your dog. We love taking neighborhood walks in the mornings/evenings. We have a lovely fenced in backyard with lots of room for your dog to roam freely and your dog will love the trails that run near our house for walks.

About: I live with a playful one-year-old husky who keeps me on my toes every day! I’m comfortable looking after puppies and other dogs, and I’m especially attuned to the needs of young, active pets who love attention, exercise, and companionship. While I don’t have experience with senior dogs just yet, I bring patience, care, and a genuine love for animals to every furry friend I meet. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday routine. I walk dogs twice a day—usually in the morning or afternoon, and again after work—so they get plenty of fresh air and exercise. I also spend quality time playing and bonding with them in the early evenings, from around 5 to 9 pm. With a fenced backyard, there’s a safe and spacious spot for dogs to run, play, and just be dogs. Since I already care for my own playful pup, tending to other pets fits seamlessly into my daily rhythm. I can take care of dogs in my house. I can give them oral medicines on their time. I live in safe and sound neighborhood. I have enough space in house to play for dogs. I know how to train dogs on basic life skills.

There is lots of opportunity for play as well I have a large fenced yard that offers lots of play with my big girl Betty. I can offer walks and I can crate or gate your fur baby if necessary

“Our puppy, Maud, loves coming to Carissa's! (We know this because of how hard her tail wags when we arrive each time!) She gets plenty of exercise and fun with Carissa's dog, Hershey, and we feel confident knowing Carissa will make sure she's safe, happy and having a well-balanced day :)”
