About: I have two of my own energetic pups and I can’t wait to love yours! I bring knowledge of high energy dogs and dogs with dietary constraints! My work schedule is flexible and ever changing! I can pop in before a shift, after and some days I can even stop in multiple times! I have five years of experience with two very different pups, I can handle yours! From walks to potty breaks and everything in between, I’ve been there and done that!

About: My approach is consistent, structured, and caring. I focus on routines, tons of cuddles, clear communication, and dependable care so your pet feels safe, comfortable, and familiar with me every visit—and you feel confident booking again Working from home allows me to build pet care naturally into my daily routine rather than treating it as a fixed drop-in. I’m able to schedule midday walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins based on each pet’s needs, not a rushed timetable. For dogs, this means regular breaks during the day to burn energy, get mental stimulation, and maintain routine—helping them stay calm and relaxed until their family returns home. For cats, it provides quiet companionship and reassurance throughout the day, reducing long stretches alone and helping them feel secure and settled. Because I’m home, I’m present, attentive, and flexible. Pets receive consistent care, familiar interaction, and a calm environment—so time away from their people feels shorter and far less stressful When I’m walking your dog or dropping in at your home, my focus is always on calm, attentive, and reliable care. I take time to read your pet’s mood and energy level and adjust each visit accordingly—whether that means an active walk, gentle engagement, or quiet reassurance. On walks, I prioritize safety, engagement, and positive reinforcement. I reinforce any training and commands you’re already working on, so your dog receives consistent guidance and clear expectations. Good behaviour is rewarded, and when redirection is needed, it’s handled calmly and appropriately—so you don’t have to worry about setbacks. During drop-ins, I follow your pet’s established routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, litter or yard checks, playtime, and companionship. For cats, I move at their pace—offering interaction when welcomed and quiet presence when they prefer space. Every visit is intentional and unhurried, ensuring your pet receives consistent care, familiar routines, and the reassurance they need until you return

“Courtney wad great with our still in training pup. She gave us feedback after each watch and our pup was excited to see her when Courtney returned for each subsequent walks. We will definitely be availing of Courtney's services in the future!”

About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember, I grew up with dogs and cats always in the house. They became my best friends and as I got older I realized that nothing would make me happier then getting to work with animals everyday. I started my own dog walking and sitting business when I was 18. I ran this for several years, earning the trust of countless people to enter their homes and care for their animals. Now close to 10 years later I have decided to get back into pet care. I am so excited to meet you and your pets! I know we will get along great. I have been working as a Registered Massage Therapist for the last 3 years but recently I have been experiencing pain in my shoulder due to the nature of my work. So I am stepping away from massage to focus back in on pet care as a full time passion. So I have plenty of time through the days evenings and weekends for whatever pet care services you require. My animals have always been treated like my children and your animals would be no exception to this. I look forward to learning their unique needs and the best ways to connect with them.
About: I have 2 pets of my own! I have a 9 month old GP x Boxer (Koda) and a 1 year old cat (Morty)! They play together all the time and are very sweet once warmed up! I have always been around people who have pets, I have taken care of my aunts 3 dogs and 3cats all at once. All animals were both inside and outside animals and would assure that they came in before dark. I have also pet sat for other friends and family throughout the years as well! Making sure that their bellies are full and plenty of play time throughout the day! I work 7am-4pm Monday - Friday! My weekends are typically free, sometimes I have events for a few hours that I attend but just communicate any needs and I will do my best! I am available after 4pm. I can be flexible if need be, during lunch times or any time after 4pm! I do not have any fences on my property, if any pet would come to my house they would be taken on leashed walks or to the dog park if it is an option for the animal. I like to get them as much outside time as possible. I also supervise play time with other friends to ensure a smooth day of play!

I would love more pets to look after! (I can provide nail trims and some grooming services free of charge with booking 🩷 🐾 ) I’m usually free throughout the week and my work is client based so I don’t have a set schedule. Your pets are your family and I will do whatever I can to be there for them at all times! I have 2 senior dogs currently who require a close eye for their own safety so I am used to watching over them all the time. I can meet whatever food, medication and outing rules you have for your pets and can provide grooming for them as well

About: I am a life long animal lover who currently has a dog, Olive, and a cat, Feta (can you tell my better half is Greek?!) I am available for drop ins and walks- with or without my pup Olive. Whatever is best for your dog. I love to go hiking and can take your dog on or off leash in lots of beautiful trails around HRM. If walks in your neighborhood or dog parks are better for your dog we can do that too! I am also available to drop in on your kitties! I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies. I am currently on maternity leave and so I have lots of availability. If it’s a weekday I will bring along my 9 month old in her carrier. On evening and weekends I will come alone. I have used rover both as a dog walker and as a dog owner. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone else. I will take care of your pets as I would my own.
About: My passion is taking care of animals, loving them and making sure they are happy. I love any animal and they always have my heart. I helped my family and friends to look after their dogs and cats. They always come back to me as I’m very responsible and trustworthy in taking care of their pets. I’m working from home and flexible in work on weekdays so I can play with your cats, check on them and also give them medicine whenever they need. I have separated rooms to keep the other cat and your cats apart while they’re staying with me. I’ll be there to watch them and make sure they are happy and with everything they need.
About: Hello, thank you for taking a look at my profile! If you are looking for someone who is responsible, knowledgeable, honest, compassionate and Pet First Aid certified to look after your pets, please continue reading and send me a message. I can’t wait for us to get to know each other better! My name is Chloe, and I would love to be your dogs next best friend! I have three dogs of my own, a 5 year old Border Collie (Brady), a 4 year old Border Collie (Poppy) and a 4 year old Australian Cattle Dog (Quinn), and I frequently walk/board over 50 dogs (not at the same time lol). I am always looking for more clients, the more doggy friends the better :) I used to work at two popular doggy daycares in Dartmouth, NS. At the daycares I would have many dogs of all different sizes and personalities in my care. Sometimes the numbers of pups in my care could even reach 100 on a single day! The dogs currently in my care range from tiny Boston Terriers, to Greyhounds and 100 lbs Bernadoodles! So it’s safe to say I’ve got tons of experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds and reactivity levels. I am currently not offering boarding at my home, but I can come and stay at your home and provide the best in-home boarding services around! At home is where your pets are most comfortable and I want to help them have a fun filled stress free time while you are away. I love being active and can adapt to any pups lifestyle. Do they need a longer hike at a nearby trail? A short stroll around the neighbourhood? Want to play fetch in their backyard or a nearby fenced in field? Go for a run at the beach? You can count on me to give your pup the best time. I offer more than what is listed here on Rover, so if you’d like to know more please don’t hesitate to send me a message! Thank you, I can’t wait to hear from you! 🐾 Everything I do everyday is focused on my pet care business. I am 100% committed to giving your pet(s) the best care and attention possible. When I stay at someone’s home to take care of their pets, I adapt to that pups lifestyle to give them the best personalized in-home boarding experience. Whether it is a senior dog who only needs 1 or 2 short walks and then wants to cuddle all day, or an energetic younger dog who needs multiple hours of exercise every day. I love to hike on trails that aren’t well known so we don’t run into other people and dogs, I love to go to the beach! I even take the dogs I’m with to run errands with me if that’s something they enjoy. Because I do this full time, your dog will rarely have to be left home alone. (As long as they are good with other dogs) Otherwise the longest they would be alone is 7 hours, but I can provide drop in visits / walks for them to break up that time.
