About: My experience in veterinary medicine, animal care, and behavior has given me a strong understanding of cats' unique needs, personalities, and medical requirements. I am comfortable caring for cats of all ages, from energetic kittens to senior cats requiring extra attention and medication. I also have experience recognizing subtle feline body language and stress signals, helping me provide care that is both compassionate and respectful of each cat's comfort level. As a Fear Free Certified professional, I prioritize creating a calm, low-stress environment and am experienced working with shy, anxious, reactive, or otherwise sensitive cats. Whether your cat is social and outgoing or prefers their own space, I adapt my approach to ensure they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I recently transitioned to a casual position at Lady Hammond Animal Hospital after working there full-time for nearly two years. This change has given me the flexibility and free time to dedicate to caring for your beloved pets and providing them with the attention they deserve. My passion for animal care began long before my veterinary experience, with previous work in dog daycare and grooming environments. What I enjoy most is building relationships with animals and helping them feel happy, fulfilled, and comfortable while their families are away. I have always loved spending time outdoors and staying active. After the loss of my own dog last October, I found myself missing the companionship and joy that comes from sharing walks and adventures with a furry friend. Now that I have the time and availability, I've made it my mission to help provide that experience for pets whose owners may need an extra hand with exercise, enrichment, and companionship. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, or simply having a caring and knowledgeable companion nearby, I'm happy to tailor my care to their individual needs. With a flexible schedule and a genuine love for animals, I'm always ready for the next adventure. I have extensive experience handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, allowing me to tailor each walk to your dog's individual needs—whether they prefer an energetic adventure, a leisurely stroll, or something in between. My goal is to ensure every outing is safe, enriching, and enjoyable. I drive a spacious SUV with plenty of room to safely transport pets to appropriate exercise and enrichment locations, as well as provide reliable transportation to and from veterinary appointments if needed. I am comfortable caring for pets with a wide range of personalities and needs, from independent animals who require quiet time and space to decompress, to affectionate "Velcro pets" who thrive on constant companionship and attention. My background in animal behavior helps me recognize body language and stress signals, allowing me to adapt my care and provide accommodations that support each pet's comfort and well-being. I am also experienced with a variety of feeding routines and dietary requirements, including veterinary prescription diets, medication administration, food allergies and sensitivities, and raw feeding protocols. I understand the importance of maintaining your pet's established routine and will ensure they receive consistent, attentive care while you're away.

About: I have several years of experience caring for both cats and dogs of family, friends and neighbours, as well as two cats of my own. I’ve cared for pets through long-term stays as well as check-ins while owners are at work. One unique thing about me is that I am in pharmacy school, meaning I have knowledge and comfortability surrounding medications. I would love to get to know your pets! Please reach out if you have any questions. I currently work from home, with availability throughout the day and most evenings. Working remotely means my schedule is quite flexible allowing me to offer frequent potty breaks, playtime, or simply companionship throughout the day. About: Hello, thank you for taking a look at my profile! If you are looking for someone who is responsible, knowledgeable, honest, compassionate and Pet First Aid certified to look after your pets, please continue reading and send me a message. I can’t wait for us to get to know each other better! My name is Chloe, and I would love to be your dogs next best friend! I have three dogs of my own, a 5 year old Border Collie (Brady), a 4 year old Border Collie (Poppy) and a 4 year old Australian Cattle Dog (Quinn), and I frequently walk/board over 50 dogs (not at the same time lol). I am always looking for more clients, the more doggy friends the better :) I used to work at two popular doggy daycares in Dartmouth, NS. At the daycares I would have many dogs of all different sizes and personalities in my care. Sometimes the numbers of pups in my care could even reach 100 on a single day! The dogs currently in my care range from tiny Boston Terriers, to Greyhounds and 100 lbs Bernadoodles! So it’s safe to say I’ve got tons of experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds and reactivity levels. I am currently not offering boarding at my home, but I can come and stay at your home and provide the best in-home boarding services around! At home is where your pets are most comfortable and I want to help them have a fun filled stress free time while you are away. I love being active and can adapt to any pups lifestyle. Do they need a longer hike at a nearby trail? A short stroll around the neighbourhood? Want to play fetch in their backyard or a nearby fenced in field? Go for a run at the beach? You can count on me to give your pup the best time. I offer more than what is listed here on Rover, so if you’d like to know more please don’t hesitate to send me a message! Thank you, I can’t wait to hear from you! 🐾 Everything I do everyday is focused on my pet care business. I am 100% committed to giving your pet(s) the best care and attention possible. When I stay at someone’s home to take care of their pets, I adapt to that pups lifestyle to give them the best personalized in-home boarding experience. Whether it is a senior dog who only needs 1 or 2 short walks and then wants to cuddle all day, or an energetic younger dog who needs multiple hours of exercise every day. I love to hike on trails that aren’t well known so we don’t run into other people and dogs, I love to go to the beach! I even take the dogs I’m with to run errands with me if that’s something they enjoy. Because I do this full time, your dog will rarely have to be left home alone. (As long as they are good with other dogs) Otherwise the longest they would be alone is 7 hours, but I can provide drop in visits / walks for them to break up that time.
