About: We've recently had to say goodbye to our adored 16 year old Miniature Dachshund and our family of four is seeking to share our home and love with other dogs. I am available to care for your dog during the day as I am not working and our two older children are in school. I am often not away from the house for more than 1 -2 hours at a time and I love spending time outdoors. We live in a pet friendly neighbourhood with sidewalks and easy access to both paved and wooded paths near the lake for lots of walks. While our backyards is not fully fenced, we do have a walkout deck and private grassy and wooded area for play and supervised breaks. I'm a confident, patient and attentive caregiver who understands that each dog has unique needs. I prioritize safety, consistency, and making each dog feel comfortable and at home. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or maintaining their regular routine, I'll care for your dog as if they were my own. As a stay at home parent, I have a flexible schedule and am home most of the day. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and companionship. I can easily maintain your dog's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and at home during their stay. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and one friendly, well-socialized dog who enjoys meeting new friends. I always introduce the dogs gradually and supervise interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable. If your dog needs their own space, I'm happy to accommodate this as well, including crating if requested. I'll follow your feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special instructions. I will send you updates if requested so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in caring hands.

About: I have always loved animals since I was a child! I worked as a volunteer dog care attendant with the SPCA for 9 years, and am certified in pet first aid. I also have a background in dog training and have dabbled in various dog sports over the years. Currently I share my home with my pit bull Atlas who LOVES all other dog friends, and my senior cat Kallie. I work from home so I'm able to be with your pet 24/7 during their stay with me! This way they don't need to be alone while you're away. I have a fully fenced yard and a very social pitbull who loves to make new friends and play. I can also offer daily walks while your pup is in my care if desired!
