About: I have always loved animals since I was a child! I worked as a volunteer dog care attendant with the SPCA for 9 years, and am certified in pet first aid. I also have a background in dog training and have dabbled in various dog sports over the years. Currently I share my home with my pit bull Atlas who LOVES all other dog friends, and my senior cat Kallie. I work from home so I'm able to be with your pet 24/7 during their stay with me! This way they don't need to be alone while you're away. I have a fully fenced yard and a very social pitbull who loves to make new friends and play. I can also offer daily walks while your pup is in my care if desired!

About: We've recently had to say goodbye to our adored 16 year old Miniature Dachshund and our family of four is seeking to share our home and love with other dogs. I am available to care for your dog during the day as I am not working and our two older children are in school. I am often not away from the house for more than 1 -2 hours at a time and I love spending time outdoors. We live in a pet friendly neighbourhood with sidewalks and easy access to both paved and wooded paths near the lake for lots of walks. While our backyards is not fully fenced, we do have a walkout deck and private grassy and wooded area for play and supervised breaks. We have experience with dogs of all ages, including puppies and senior dogs. I would be excited to learn more about your pet and can tailor my care for their unique needs. I am available 24/7 to care for your pet. I can provide undivided attention to your pup during the day and we can offer lots of attention and play given all family members are dog lovers. Typically, someone is always home and if not, we're only away for 1-2 hours at a time. Your pet will have access to our entire house; however, we also have secure gates available should you wish to resist to the main level. We also have a pet stroller should your dog have any mobility issues.

About: Hi! My name is Divya. I grew up in Halifax and now live in downtown Dartmouth. I work from home and have an unfenced green space where dogs often play in front of my house. Growing up, I had a German shepherd mix named Lola. She was a little sister to me, and I took care of her into her old age. I understand the patience and care elder dogs need. I have boarded my friends pets for up to two weeks and always send pictures and daily updates. I also take care of my parents dog, Shanti. She is a golden retriever mix. When she was a puppy I ensured she was safe while in heat prior to being spayed. Dogs have always been a part of my life and I hope I can make your canine friend feel safe and taken care of with daily adventures and lots of praise! My job offers the flexibility to work from home. I can easily take your canine friend for morning, lunchtime, and afternoon walks, and an adventure in the early evening. I live alone in a two bedroom, 1 bathroom flat. There is an unfenced field in front of my house where other dogs often run and play. I also can take your canine friends for walks in the Dartmouth Commons, Shubie Park, and to nearby lakes if your doggy is okay with car rides!

About: I have been fostering and taking care of dogs for over ten years and have lots of experience with puppies through to seniors. I am in a pet friendly apartment with a lot of beautiful spaces for outdoor time and lots of parks nearby for us to walk to. My space is clean and uncluttered so nothing for pups to get into, and I love a good snuggle on the couch or at night with the pups. I recently lost my senior border collie. I have experience crate training puppies and have also done puppy training and obedience classes. I work from home so I’m available for lots of pee breaks and play sessions.
