They sent us updates everyday, went above and beyond to provide extra comfort for him to feel ant ease and took him on tons of outdoor activities to keep our Border Collie entertained. We were able to enjoy our vacation to the fullest, knowing that our Willow was happier than ever with his host family. Thank you!!”

“Mark & Evangeline were awesome with Zimba. They took very good care of him for the 2 weeks that we were away, and made him a part of their family. They sent us daily updates with pictures and short videos. They gave Zimba his medication in a timely manner, and followed his regular routine. When we picked him up we noticed that he was happy and well taken care of. Mark & Evangeline are the best sitters we have had so far and I would highly recommend them. I will definitely keep Zimba with them in the future. Thank you Mark & Evangeline! 🥰”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We couldn’t be happier with Justin and the amazing care he gave our Tucker! 🐾❤️ Tucker stayed with him for 5 days and 4 nights while we were away in Quebec, and Justin went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and well cared for. He kept us updated every day with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Tucker had so much fun playing fetch, going on walks, and visiting the dog park. And of course, he had the best time with Justin’s Golden Retriever, Zoey! They became such good friends. 🥹 It honestly felt like Tucker was staying with his second family. Justin was so caring, attentive, and loving toward him, and we could tell Tucker had an amazing time. Thank you so much, Justin, for taking such wonderful care of our boy! We truly appreciate you and Zoey. Tucker definitely has a second family now, and we wouldn’t hesitate to have him stay with you again. Highly recommend! ❤️🐶”

“Nataliya was an amazing find - I feel so lucky to have found her! She loved my pup Rusty like he was her own. She made him comfortable even though this was his first time away from us and we were gone for 4 weeks. Two walks a day and so much pampering I think he had a great time. She kept me updated with daily photos so I never worried. Her property is perfect for dogs. Highly recommend and will be using her again in the future.”

About: We've recently had to say goodbye to our adored 16 year old Miniature Dachshund and our family of four is seeking to share our home and love with other dogs. I am available to care for your dog during the day as I am not working and our two older children are in school. I am often not away from the house for more than 1 -2 hours at a time and I love spending time outdoors. We live in a pet friendly neighbourhood with sidewalks and easy access to both paved and wooded paths near the lake for lots of walks. While our backyards is not fully fenced, we do have a walkout deck and private grassy and wooded area for play and supervised breaks. We have experience with dogs of all ages, including puppies and senior dogs. I would be excited to learn more about your pet and can tailor my care for their unique needs. I am available 24/7 to care for your pet. I can provide undivided attention to your pup during the day and we can offer lots of attention and play given all family members are dog lovers. Typically, someone is always home and if not, we're only away for 1-2 hours at a time. Your pet will have access to our entire house; however, we also have secure gates available should you wish to resist to the main level. We also have a pet stroller should your dog have any mobility issues.
“Greer was very sweet and took great care of Fluff. She provided us with many updates. I don't think Fluffy even knew we were gone. He made himself right at home lol. I would definitely book with Greer again. She was amazing and we were very grateful to have Fluff in such considerate hands.”

About: I’ve loved animals from a young age and have hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, including a puppy, several cats, and even fish both as a child and as an adult. This has helped me understand the different needs and behaviors of animals—from energetic dogs to independent cats and the consistency required for maintaining a healthy aquarium. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m patient with puppies and can help reinforce basic routines, and I’m equally comfortable with cats, respecting their space while still giving them attention and care. My experience with fish has also made me detail-oriented when it comes to feeding schedules, cleanliness, and maintaining a stable environment—skills that carry over into all types of pet care. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to following each pet’s routine closely. I also keep owners updated so they have peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands. I treat every pet like family and focus on creating a stress-free, happy environment for them. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make it a priority in my schedule. I plan my day to ensure I have dedicated time for feeding, walks, playtime, and general care, so pets receive consistent attention and are never rushed. I’m comfortable incorporating morning and evening routines, as well as check-ins during the day if needed. Whether it’s taking dogs out for walks, spending time playing, or ensuring cats and other pets are fed and comfortable, I make sure their routine is followed closely. I treat pet care as an important and enjoyable part of my routine, not just an extra task. I provide a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment in my home where pets can feel comfortable and well cared for. I make sure they have a dedicated space to rest, access to fresh water, and a consistent routine for feeding, playtime, and relaxation. I take time to understand each pet’s habits and preferences so I can follow their normal routine as closely as possible. For dogs, this includes regular walks, playtime, and attention. For cats, I ensure a quiet, comfortable space while also giving them interaction on their terms. I’m also experienced in caring for fish, maintaining feeding schedules and a clean, stable environment. Pets are always supervised, and I focus on creating a stress-free atmosphere where they feel safe and at ease. I keep the home clean and organized and provide updates to owners so they know their pets are happy and in good hands. Overall, I treat every pet like family and make sure they receive consistent care, attention, and comfort throughout their stay.
About: I have always loved animals since I was a child! I worked as a volunteer dog care attendant with the SPCA for 9 years, and am certified in pet first aid. I also have a background in dog training and have dabbled in various dog sports over the years. Currently I share my home with my pit bull Atlas who LOVES all other dog friends, and my senior cat Kallie. I work from home so I'm able to be with your pet 24/7 during their stay with me! This way they don't need to be alone while you're away. I have a fully fenced yard and a very social pitbull who loves to make new friends and play. I can also offer daily walks while your pup is in my care if desired!

I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and am around throughout the day to give dogs plenty of attention and care. I’m able to provide regular walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of company, making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I live in a dog-friendly apartment close to several great parks and walking spots. With a little dog of my own, I know all the best places nearby for walks, playtime, and getting some fresh air. About: LGBTQ+ Safe 🥰 I've taken care of dogs and cats my whole life, I had been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 8 years before retiring in 2026 but had branched into my real interest, behaviour in 2022 by starting my own company and focusing on helping owners with their reactive and fearful dogs. I have worked in general practices and emergency medicine so your pet couldn't be in safer hands while with me. My big interests for breeds are German Shepherd Dogs, Dobermans, Malinois, Border Collies, essentially any working or high drive dogs. I've raised Bulldogs, Am Staff's, Rotties and German Shepherds through my life but working on the veterinary side I've worked with everything big and small. I love giant breeds, I've handled everything up to 180 lbs at this point. Though my current dog is a hound mix so I have begun to fall in love with those types of personalities and I do desire a Wire Fox Terrier later in life. I love advocating not only for fearful/anxious dogs but also small breeds who's behaviours are often ignored. My current dog is a rehome to me after biting the baby sitter in his initial home a few weeks after coming to Canada. Since being with me he has a fantastic support system from our primary care vet, our veterinary behaviour consultant, other local dog trainers, and a rehab/fitness specialist to not only manage his chronic pain but his medical management. He is currently on medications but has thrived in training since being with me, he has not been a bite risk while in my care. He loves humans more than anything, wanting to give you kisses and crawl into your skin if you allow him. He loves his dog friends as well, we spend lots of time hiking off leash with other dogs and training with them. Because of this he is also my demo dog for showing other dogs how to be comfortable and confident in the world while also showing things are possible to stressed owners that were where Memphis was in January 2025. My company is Canine Stability and I offer Dog Training, Dangerous Dog Assessments, Behavioural Rehabilitation for dogs with bite histories and severe anxiety and more. I love to focus on reactive and fearful dogs but please check out my Instagram to learn more! Currently my full-time job is my own business so am home during the day while having training sessions in the evenings and weekends. This is why I am now offering boarding for the work day. I am very vigilant about closed doors and gates. My backyard is fully fenced in but dogs are still not left unattended outside or when together. I believe in keeping arousal/stimulation fairly low, we are allowed to play but nothing crazy to avoid miscommunications between dogs and injuries. This doesn't mean they don't get to have structured play, access to a dig pit or other fun games and enrichment during their stay. Being calm and quiet helps with them being more calm and relaxed with the interactions given I am a new face usually. I am always hyper aware on walks or when out of the house with pets, I don't allow strangers to approach or unknown off leash dogs out of utmost precaution. I don't like or go to dog parks for the same reason, just to he on the safe side with unknown dogs/people. I prefer 2 attachments to dogs coming to my home. So I do prefer a collar and harness to be on the dog at time of drop off. Harnesses come off when inside but collars do not as they still stay under my direct supervision.
“Jessica was great with Roxie. She got exercise and I felt comfortable leaving her there due to Jessica’s knowledge of dog behaviour. We will definitely use her again.”

“We could not have been happier with our experience with Daryl! Willie was happy as he could be and I know he received tons of snuggles and had the best day with Daryl. Thank you so much for making our boy feel comfy and safe!”

“Sarah was excellent with our two pups. We were coming in from out of town for the day so couldn’t arrange a meet and greet in advance. Sarah asked all the right questions and our dogs were well cared for all day, and she even graciously accommodated a last minute request to extend their stay. An excellent dog sitter for anyone in Halifax. Thank you so much, Sarah!”

“We were very nervous about leaving our 11 week old puppy for the 1st time with a sitter. I am so happy that we found Sara, she was great with our pup, and we left there feeling very secure with our choice. She sent us an update picture and little note that Maddie had done her business had a drink and was having a great time finding sticks in her garden. Maddie was a happy puppy when we picked her up. I would not hesitate to book with Sara again.”

About: I have been fostering and taking care of dogs for over ten years and have lots of experience with puppies through to seniors. I am in a pet friendly apartment with a lot of beautiful spaces for outdoor time and lots of parks nearby for us to walk to. My space is clean and uncluttered so nothing for pups to get into, and I love a good snuggle on the couch or at night with the pups. I recently lost my senior border collie. I have experience crate training puppies and have also done puppy training and obedience classes. I work from home so I’m available for lots of pee breaks and play sessions. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! I work remotely with a flexible schedule so can easily accommodate your pups needs. I am an early riser and love getting outside early in the mornings! I care for your dogs in the same way I do mine - lots of attention, lots of love and activity. I have crate trained puppies and am used to lots of different types of dogs.

About: Hi! I’m Danielle! 🐾 I’m a caring, responsible, and dependable person who has always loved animals. I’m a mom, and my home is a warm, busy, family-oriented environment. I’m hoping to offer pet sitting as a way to earn some extra income while doing something I genuinely enjoy. I have experience caring for animals and understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires a lot of trust. I’ll treat your pets with the same patience, kindness, and attention that I would want someone to give my own. Because I have a young child at home, I do need pets staying in my home to be comfortable and safe around children. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s personality, routines, energy level, and any quirks or special needs ahead of time to make sure we’re a good fit. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medications if needed, and lots of love and attention. I know how reassuring it is to receive updates while you’re away, so I’m always happy to send photos and let you know how your pet is doing. I’d love to meet you and your furry family members and see if I can be the right person to care for them! 🐶🐱❤️ Danielle Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m a mom and spend a lot of time at home, so I’m able to provide pets with regular attention, companionship, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I’m looking to take on a manageable number of pets so that each animal gets individual attention rather than feeling like they’re simply being left in a busy group. I’m happy to work with each pet’s normal feeding, walking, and bathroom schedule and keep their routine as consistent as possible while their owners are away. In my home, pets would be treated as part of the family and would have plenty of supervision, affection, playtime, and opportunities to go outside. Because I have a child, I only accept pets who are comfortable and safe around children. For client visits or care in the owner’s home, I’m respectful of the pet’s familiar environment and routines. I follow the instructions provided by the owner for feeding, walks, medication, bathroom breaks, and any other specific needs. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so owners know how their pets are doing.

As a stay at home parent, I have a flexible schedule and am home most of the day. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and companionship. I can easily maintain your dog's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and at home during their stay. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and one friendly, well-socialized dog who enjoys meeting new friends. I always introduce the dogs gradually and supervise interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable. If your dog needs their own space, I'm happy to accommodate this as well, including crating if requested. I'll follow your feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special instructions. I will send you updates if requested so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in caring hands.
“Trish did an absolutely wonderful job looking after my senior dog. She was great at sending me daily pictures and updates. She was able to give all the medications with out issues and my dog got along with hers so well. I would 10 out of 10 recommend her for sitting and would use her again.”

About: I have spent my entire life caring for dogs and cats and have developed a strong understanding of their behavior, body language, and individual needs. My experience ranges from day‑to‑day care to basic training, socialization, and creating safe, positive environments for pets of all temperaments. I am also the owner of a one‑year‑old Doodle named Lexie, whom I personally trained. She is a friendly, well‑socialized dog who loves meeting new companions and will be a wonderful playmate for your pet. Together, we strive to make every animal feel comfortable, engaged, and cared for. I currently work M-F during the day but I can offer my services in the evenings and weekends. I'm very flexible and can work with you as long as my work schedule doesn't interfere. I provide a safe, calm, and caring environment for every pet in my home or my client’s home. I believe in treating all animals with kindness, patience, and respect, and I make their comfort and well‑being my top priority. My home features a fully fenced, grassy yard where pets can safely explore, play, and enjoy outdoor time. Whether your pet prefers energetic play or quiet sniffing breaks, I ensure they are supervised at all times. I also have experience with positive‑reinforcement training, including helping dogs learn not to pull on walks. I truly enjoy walking dogs and would be happy to provide your pet with safe, structured, and enjoyable outings tailored to their pace and personality. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and routine will always come first while they are in my care.
“"I had a wonderful experience leaving my dachshund with her! Shea is so patient and truly knows how to take care of dogs. Her own dog got along great with mine, which made me feel so at ease. She was always friendly and kept me updated with photos and messages while I was away. I could tell my pup was well cared for and happy the entire time. Highly recommend!"”

“Gigi was super sweet and took amazing care of Pepita! She sent pictures and updates every day, and took her on some fun adventures. I’m super grateful to her for taking such good care of my puppy. I will definitely rebook with her in the future! 💙☺️”

“Sonya is amazing in every way. She was very easy to communicate with and so accommodating! She sent us daily updates and pictures and even offered to meet us and our dog before the drop-off. We came home to a very happy pup. I think he had a better vacation than we did. Don't hesitate to book Sonya. I would give her 10 stars if I could.”

“Adrienne took great care of our young lab. She took him for runs in the park and the beach where he could blow off some of his energy. Adrienne also kept me updated with pictures and videos. Thank you Adrienne for taking care of Jax during our stay in Sydney.”

“Emily was so reassuring. This was our first time leaving our dogs with anyone but family. She sent photos on a regular basis and made sure we had no worries. Our senior doodles made themselves right at home and were very comfy cuddling with the family. We will most definitely have Emily take care of them again, without hesitation!”

“Renita and her husband were so wonderful to my pup, Wrigley. I loved having updates with pictures and videos throughout the day, as he hasn’t been without us much and we were worried how he would be. It was reassuring to see how comfortable he was and they made him feel right at home. I also love that they only take on one dog at a time, so I know he’s getting their full attention. I would absolutly book with them again!”

“Greer was amazing with our dog and us. Received multiple updates and pictures during our pets 2 night stay. She was very responsive and accommodating on short notice! Highly recommend!”
