You won't find a more dedicated animal lover to look after your non-human kin! Ilana is a fantastic sitter - she has meticulously looked after our cats, chickens (and a Betta fish!) for us since 2022. Can't recommend highly enough :-) Thank you Ilana! <3

About: Hey I’m Courtney. I’m a mama to a Boston terrier. I always had a dog growing up and I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I could remember. (Both small and large / seniors, puppies) I currently work part time so I have lots of availability. I can pet sit at your house or mine , drop in for feedings or take them for walks. I know how hard it is to leave your baby with someone new but I will take care of them as my own and keep you updated along the way. The safety of your dog is my Number one priority.

About: I have cared for, and trained, dogs from 5 weeks old to seniors . I have provided medication when needed to not only my own dogs but others when required. I will walk/ exercise your pets as if they are my own or as you request me to do. I will love your dog as if it were my own. I work for HRCE so I’m off all summer and available to take care of your pet anytime between 7am and 9pm if it’s a check in or walk. I will treat your pet and your home as if it were my own. I will play with and feed your pet according to the schedule set by you (the owner), give love and attention, if they are a cuddly pet. I have a small, very friendly, dog (22lbs) that I would bring with me to your home as he can’t be left without me.

About: I’m a cat-only Rover sitter offering both boarding and drop-in visits in Bedford. I’ve been a cat owner for over 3 years, and I truly understand that cats need patience, consistency, and a calm environment to feel safe. I respect each cat’s personality and boundaries — whether they’re affectionate, independent, or shy. I don’t force interaction, and I follow your cat’s usual routine as closely as possible so they can stay comfortable while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I plan my schedule around feedings, litter box cleaning, and check-ins, and I’m home regularly to provide consistent care, monitoring, and calm companionship. I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible. In my home, I provide a quiet, clean, cat-only environment with regular feeding, litter box cleaning, and gentle companionship based on each cat’s comfort level. In my client’s home, I focus on feeding, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box, checking on behavior and appetite, and sharing photo updates. I always respect a cat’s boundaries and prioritize safety, cleanliness, and consistency.

Would give her 6 stars if we could. Cleah was an absolutely wonderful sitter for our cat while we were gone for two weeks (and during Tropical Storm Fiona!). She took pains to sit and play with Orson, kept us updated on him with pictures and notes after every visit and went above-and-beyond, post-storm, to ensure that he remained well cared for. Assuming she wants to, we'll want her back for future cat-sitting. Thanks Cleah!

Kelsey did a great job feeding and walking our dog while we were away. It was a bit complex because our dog was in our RV in an RV park, but she figured it all out. She was on time, sent photos, and everything was tidy when we returned. I'd definitely recommend her.

About: I work from home Tuesdays and Thursdays, which means your fuzzbud gets plenty of attention, companionship, and flexibility on those days - with walks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of fresh air! My partner, Patrick, and I live in a cozy bungalow on a quiet street, just steps from the ocean and close to wooded trails. We have an unfenced yard with a secure leash setup for quick breaks, and we love getting outside for walks and little adventures. If you’re travelling, we’d love to be your pet’s home away from home. You can expect lots of care, affection, patience, and calm, attentive energy - so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry friend is in good hands. ❤️ I can be available during the work week (with drop-off before 8:30am). I teach online classes during the day, but can always offer an early morning/lunch break walk, afternoon yard breaks, and a longer 4:30 trail walk. I care for pets in a calm, safe, and welcoming home environment. Feel free to drop your pet off for an overnight stay, or book them in for longer while you travel worry-free!! I can also do house checks or evening walks!

My goal is to fill my week with as many dog visits I can until I decide what my next full time position will be I treat all dogs I meet like they are members of my family. I respect all the owners rules and training. I don’t require the dogs to love me from the first visit but I’m sure that they will

About: Hello! I’m an experienced house sitter and dog walker looking to expand my services within the HRM. I have experience walking dogs of all ages and breeds. I enjoy hiking and would be willing to take a furry friend on long or short adventures! I’m happy to pet sit in your home as needed, or stop in while you’re away to check in, walk and care for your pets. I also have experience with administering regular medications to cats and dogs. So you can feel comfortable knowing your pets needs are in good hands! I work full time as a dental receptionist Monday to Thursday. However, my only real restriction is that I work 12 hours on Mondays. My walking / check in availability is: Monday: 6am-7am and 8pm-9pm Tuesday: 5pm-9pm Wednesday: 3pm-9pm Thursday 2pm-10pm Friday Saturday and Sunday: 8am-10pm House sitting availability can be very flexible. I’m looking forward to meeting with you 😇 I work Monday to Thursday with consistent hours making it easy to schedule pet care opportunities. I have a car and would love to bring your doggos hiking over the summer with me! I have 2 cats at home, so I’m only able pet sit outside of my own space, but I am more than happy to accommodate by staying with your pet or dropping in daily.

Liz and Mike dropped in on our kitty Dorito while we went on vacation for a week in Cuba. I contacted them on short notice and they came to my house right away for a visit. We got a great vibe from them within minutes. While we were away, communication was difficult because the app didn’t work in Cuba but Liz did her best to send updates. Dorito was very well cared for and the house was exactly as we had left it. This was my first time using Rover and now we are so grateful we found someone we can trust with our fur baby and our home ! We will definitely be using Liz and Mike for our next getaway.

About: I've had family dogs my whole life, but have had my own dogs for around 8 years now! I love all animals, and I would love to make a pet and their parents day a little easier while they're out for fun or at work! I have also worked for the SPCA, and have dealt with many pet personalities. I work 9-5, so I can care for your pet/pets after work, or before work if it's early! I am also available anytime on the weekends. I have a yard at my home and a couch for your pet to relax on, unless they'd prefer a bed! I have one small dog and two cats at home that can keep your furry family member company along with myself. For walking dogs, I may need a leash provided because mine is suitable for smaller breeds. I can also care for your pets in your home if that's preferred.

Giulia took wonderful care of our 12-year-old senior lab, Gibson, while we were out of town. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly very comfortable caring for an older dog. Knowing Gibson was in such good hands was a huge stress relief and allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup. We would absolutely recommend Giulia and would not hesitate to use her services again.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
