About: When your fuzzbud comes to stay with my partner Patrick and I, they enjoy fresh ocean air, playtime, warmth and companionship. I work from home Tues/Thurs, and am just a short 3 min drive away M/W/F. On those days, Pat comes home for a lunch time walk between 11am-12pm. We live in a cozy bungalow on a quiet street, just steps from the ocean and close to wooded trails. We have an unfenced forested area in the back with a secure long leash setup for quick breaks, and we love getting outside for walks and little adventures. If you’re travelling, we’d love to be your pet’s home away from home. You can expect lots of care, affection, patience, and calm, attentive energy - so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry friend is in good hands. ❤️ I can be available during the work week (with drop-off before 8:30am). I teach online classes at home during the day Tues/Thursday, but can always offer an early morning/lunch break walk, afternoon yard breaks, and a longer 4:30 trail walk. About: I know the essentials of dog care. I’ve lived in a home with a dog for a little over 12 years as an adult. I had the privilege of having my first pup Cooper, raising and training him. From this experience I learned some essential on senior dog care. He requires specialist veterinary care. The two pups I’ve had are high energy breeds, a husky shepherd mix and now a black Labrador. The saying indeed does ring true “a tired dog is a happy dog” I am currently available during the days and early evenings. I have a vehicle but live outside of HRM. It’s best for both people to have advanced notice to insure I can accommodate the request. I care for every pet with patience, kindness, and attention to their needs.
