About: I've had cats most of my life, until a few years ago. We had two Maincoons that were loved more than anything in the world. They were brother and sister, each had their own uniquely wonderful personality but both were extremely loving and when we lost them (first the boy, then his sister some years later), it was devastating. Because we were so attached it was so very painful when we lost them, that I haven't been able to get another cat since. We have a neighborhood cat that comes around for treats and chin rubs, so that's nice. When I was young, my parents indulged me...We lived in the country and I remember at one point having 10 cats at once...Yikes! But pretty sure my parents enjoyed them just as much as I did. Anyway, I thought this type of service would be a good fit because I have a lot of love an affection to give any kitty out there.

About: Being around dogs comes naturally to me as my family always kept family dogs as well as fostered. (Both small and large / seniors, puppies) I currently work part time so I have lots of availability. I can pet sit at your house or mine , drop in for feedings or take them for walks. About: I've had loads of pet experience over the years, from early childhood to present day. I grew up in a rural setting where there were always animals around...farm animals such as chickens, pigs and turkeys. As for house pets, I've had MANY...several dogs over the years, too many cats to count, rabbits and hamsters. In my younger years I had a Poodle, a Samoyed, a Beagle and Cocker Spaniel. As for cats, well...let's just say our family was crazy for cats...I remember at one point in my youth, I had 10 at once! Later in life my husband and I had two Maincoons (Missy and Buster) who were literally the loves of our lives. We still miss them terribly and always think about them. In my 20s I worked at a pet store, where I also took care of the animals there (cats, dogs, hamsters, birds and fish). In my 30s I worked as a dog walker, which was very rewarding and so, so much fun. I would walk and care for three to six on any given day. I would pick them all up at each of their homes, each taking their preferred seat in my Jeep (the smallest one always insisting she sit in the front seat) and head out on our adventures for the day! These days I have several dogs in my orbit that belong to family members and friends. We have one in particular that we care for in our home periodically for our friends...Gordon the golden doodle, a.k.a. our nephew. All that being said I feel that I have a lot of experience and love to offer your fur babies, along with an endless supply of hugs, snuggles and kisses! Halifax is my permanent home but commute out of province for work. I am home for roughly half of the month, days vary but on average I'm home anywhere from 13-18 days a month and usually anywhere from 6-13 days at a time. I do get my schedule one month in advance on the 25th of each month, at which point I would update my calendar. I currently care for a friends dog periodically when they are away for a few days or sometimes longer. He has the run of the house, not crated and sleeps with us...not spoiled at all. We of course take him on walks and have play time...all the time.
About: I've been loving on and taking care of pets since I was a little kid. I'm that person who gets along with pets more than people and go straight to them at a party 🙃 I love to take dogs out on lots of walks, cuddle cats while I'm crocheting, and make sure that they are well taken care of. I'm currently between jobs and looking to pick up some work ASAP. I have lots of timt to spoil ypur pets. Open for weekends and holidays as well. I am a great guest and responsible house keeper. I love to go on lots of walks and provide lot of attention to your pets.

As any pet owner knows, it can be hard to put your trust in someone else to care for your beloved pet but Kim and Henson were the perfect companions to Elliot for our week and a half away. You can tell by Kim’s language and the questions she asks that she is a very experience pet parent who is extremely thoughtful about the wellbeing of your creature.
