About: I have had dogs all my life. My last two dogs were rescues that moved three countries with me and were my world. I cared for them from puppies through their golden years. Experienced at dog walking and giving medication and a safe place for your pet to sleep. Have taken care of others dogs in my home while their owners are away as dogs deserve a vacation too, filled with walks in the park to play with other dogs, tail wags, and snuggles at home. About: We've recently had to say goodbye to our adored 16 year old Miniature Dachshund and our family of four is seeking to share our home and love with other dogs. I am available to care for your dog during the day as I am not working and our two older children are in school. I am often not away from the house for more than 1 -2 hours at a time and I love spending time outdoors. No dog scares me and there isn’t a breed I haven’t worked with. I also have experience with cats, dogs, hamsters , fish, bunnies , chickens, ducks. I sadly do not do houses with reptiles. I am a part time nurse and full time animal lover. I’m good with bathing , walking , nail grooming , play time and anything else your pet may need. I have my own pets , a German sheppard , husky , a cat, and 3 bunnies ! I would love to meet your furry friends! I’m currently working full time as a nurse but my schedule has some flexibility as I get some weekdays off, and most evenings and weekends are available! I am able to follow direction and instructions based on your pets needs. You tell me what you need and it will be done. I am very experienced with escape artists and able to control those animals that like to test the limits !
About: I've had loads of pet experience over the years, from early childhood to present day. I grew up in a rural setting where there were always animals around...farm animals such as chickens, pigs and turkeys. As for house pets, I've had MANY...several dogs over the years, too many cats to count, rabbits and hamsters. In my younger years I had a Poodle, a Samoyed, a Beagle and Cocker Spaniel. As for cats, well...let's just say our family was crazy for cats...I remember at one point in my youth, I had 10 at once! Later in life my husband and I had two Maincoons (Missy and Buster) who were literally the loves of our lives. We still miss them terribly and always think about them. In my 20s I worked at a pet store, where I also took care of the animals there (cats, dogs, hamsters, birds and fish). In my 30s I worked as a dog walker, which was very rewarding and so, so much fun. I would walk and care for three to six on any given day. I would pick them all up at each of their homes, each taking their preferred seat in my Jeep (the smallest one always insisting she sit in the front seat) and head out on our adventures for the day! These days I have several dogs in my orbit that belong to family members and friends. We have one in particular that we care for in our home periodically for our friends...Gordon the golden doodle, a.k.a. our nephew. All that being said I feel that I have a lot of experience and love to offer your fur babies, along with an endless supply of hugs, snuggles and kisses! Halifax is my permanent home but commute out of province for work. I am home for roughly half of the month, days vary but on average I'm home anywhere from 13-18 days a month and usually anywhere from 6-13 days at a time. I do get my schedule one month in advance on the 25th of each month, at which point I would update my calendar. I currently care for a friends dog periodically when they are away for a few days or sometimes longer. He has the run of the house, not crated and sleeps with us...not spoiled at all. We of course take him on walks and have play time...all the time.

About: I’ve held a great amount of respect and love for dogs since a young age, and couldn’t wait to get my own as a young adult. My dogs have taught me a lot, we’ve gone through extensive training and I have years of experience with stubborn pets! There is truly no better feeling than fostering a bond with a selective dog. I have two dogs of my own and we prefer to spend as much time as possible outside! Whether that is on or off leash walks, backyard play or toy enrichment we can accommodate it all :) My home set up allows separation if pups need space, but my doodle Tucker is very friendly and loves to provide companionship. “Ryan was fantastic with our two big rescue dogs while we were on vacation for two weeks. They are usually very nervous around men and it normally takes them quite a few visits to warm up to someone new. They will usually bark at strangers, but Ryan won them over right away. They were happy and relaxed the whole time and very well taken care of. He was quick to respond whenever we wanted check-ins or updates, but he never overdid the messaging, which was perfect. They have even seen him once more since the initial boarding and the dogs were beyond excited to see him again. Total tail wags, pawing for attention, and going in for kisses.
