Dog Lovers @ Heart
We've recently had to say goodbye to our adored 16 year old Miniature Dachshund and our family of four is seeking to share our home and love with other dogs. I am available to care for your dog during the day as I am not working and our two older children are in school. I am often not away from the house for more than 1 -2 hours at a time and I love spending time outdoors. We live in a pet friendly neighbourhood with sidewalks and easy access to both paved and wooded paths near the lake for lots of walks. While our backyards is not fully fenced, we do have a walkout deck and private grassy and wooded area for play and supervised breaks. We have experience with dogs of all ages, including puppies and senior dogs. I would be excited to learn more about your pet and can tailor my care for their unique needs.

I can not recommend Shawna and her family enough! They are great communicators, very attentive and give so much love to my little pup! Zettie is always excited to see them, and I am at ease knowing she’s in such great hands 🥹
Shawna & Chris were amazing!! They took great care of our 2 pups and the updates they sent every day were awesome and just what we needed while we were away from our fur babies. We would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future.
Shawna and Chris were our very first sitters with Rover and the experience has been anything but pleasant. They actually made sure we are always well informed and respected our very specific needs for our 2 month old pup. They also prepped treats for Chikoo and made sure he got the care he needed. If anything I can say, they really go above and beyond to make you feel secure about your furbaby while you are away. 10/10 service

Shawna and Chris (and family!) are exceptional dog sitters. They took time to understand Rusty and his unique traits! We love that they treated Rusty as one of the family, having fun, going on long walks and even snuggling up together. They were so wonderful that now Rusty misses them!
Shawna and Chris accommodated our last minute need for dog care. Their entire family met us at drop off and interacted with our pup and we could tell they were very warm and caring. They kept us well updated through the night. Would recommend them highly.

Schedule
I am available 24/7 to care for your pet. I can provide undivided attention to your pup during the day and we can offer lots of attention and play given all family members are dog lovers. Typically, someone is always home and if not, we're only away for 1-2 hours at a time.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will have access to our entire house; however, we also have secure gates available should you wish to resist to the main level. We also have a pet stroller should your dog have any mobility issues.

I enjoy lots of fresh air and daily walks. I would love to care for your pet and can tailor my schedule to accommodate their needs to make sure they feel comfortable and welcome. I can guarantee they will get lots of attention and belly rubs from the family.
