I live in a house on a cull de sac with local walking trails and a short drive to Lawrence town beaches. I have Kipper the pug living with me. He has free range of the house and furniture. He is not crate trained but I do have two medium crates if they are required for visitors. Each pet has their own needs and will be accommodated as best as possible. (fur parents will be informed if the pup/kitty cannot be accommodated -usually for severe active medical issues). Kipper and myself are fully vaccinated and neither of us smoke/vape. There is a kiddy poole in hot weather, lots of towels in wet weather and lots of cuddles in cold weather….actually there is usually as much cuddles as the pup/kitty requires or demands. As per above I don’t tend to take pets during the week due to work hours but can accommodate with bathroom breaks being every 4 hours or the kitty litter box is in the basement. on the weekends i am home and can accommodate more frequent outings. New update: ai now have a shiney new fence!! yard is fully enclosed and large and small dog tested.

Information Margaret N. would like to know about your pet
I would review your dogs hx from Rover to ensure I’m up to date then note any additional details and directions from discussions. special instructions would be discussed. It’s NS the weather is wet. if your dog is dirty from our adventures, then a bath will happen. do not routinely do dog grooming beyond bathing and drying my dogs. I could do nail care on my labs but my pug needs to be outsourced from nails. If a pet is with me longer term, we would discuss a routine nail and coat care plan.
A typical day
Depending on your routine with your fur family, I will try to mirror it so as not to throw their routine off. Music is played in the house, walks are constant, cuddles and playtime with toys are done. longer walks and outdoor activities are done depending on the dog. My pug will fetch up to three times in a Row before i start actually fetching, but the last blue heeler was happily fetching for an hour and i had to stop to give my arms a break. such activities would be done at a dog park that’s fenced.

Pet care experience
Grew up around two Large Male Labs and two mini schnauzers. Took care of them from about grade three on. Currently have a delightful pug. Have cared for my family’s and extended families pets from daily requirements to post op wound cleaning, dressing changes, medication delivery and teeth brushing. Have cared for co-workers dogs. The longest care period was three weeks, over winter vacation.

Reviews

Margaret was great, she had a couple pups or her place to keep Wilson company. We know he was very well entertained and cared for. Thank you so much Margaret.

Margaret took great care of my bulldog Frank. She provided constant updates on Frank a d gave him plenty of exercise and attention. Would 1000% rebooked with her.

We travelled to NS last week and need a sitter to look after our 2 dogs "last minutes". We located Margaret and she was helpful to accomodate our need. While picking up our dogs, they are getting ready to go (we were in a rush). Thank you Margaret for helping us!

Margaret took the best care of kiwi over the weekend and sent lots of updates on how she was. Was able to deal really well with kiwi’s higher energy levels
