We were so comfortable having Rachel stay and look after our 3 1/2 old puppy. She has such a warm personality and obviously loves animals. We knew Ruby was in good hands the moment we talked to her. It was so nice knowing that we could enjoy our weekend away and not have to worry. The house was immaculate when we got back. Thank you Rachel!

About: I am a life-long animal lover who grew up with dogs. Now, I work full-time in healthcare so I can’t have a pet of my own. My schedule is highly flexible and variable though, letting me offer services when others can’t. I’m also very comfortable with complex care needs. I like keeping busy and am happy to spend as much time as needed on exercise, enrichment/training and grooming, so long as your pets are agreeable. I require on site parking for house sitting please. I work full-time in healthcare so I can’t have a pet of my own. My schedule is highly variable from week to week and month to month, letting me offer services when others can’t. I’m often available on a last minute basis as well, just ask!! I like to keep busy so your pet won’t get too much time to be sad about your absence. I look forward to a brief phone chat or a few emails back and forth to get to know what your pet’s routine and habits are to minimize the disruption of having their favourite person away and a weird stranger in their home.

About: More Than Just a Pet Sitter – I’m Your Pet’s Second Best Friend! 🐾 With experience in puppy training, senior pet care, and personalized attention, I go beyond basic pet sitting to ensure your furry family member feels loved, safe, and engaged. Whether it’s reinforcing good manners, administering medication, or giving extra cuddles to older pets, I tailor my care to meet their unique needs. Because every pet deserves expert care with a personal touch I work as a marine geophysicist and hydrographic surveyor - fancy way of saying I map the oceans. My work often takes me to various parts of the world so I work on a Month On - Month Off rotation schedule. When I am home, I am home full time and always looking for things to do. If that kind of schedule works well for you I can't wait to chat! Provide walks, playtime, and any special needs. Maintain Routine. I would prefer they stay in their familiar environment, reducing stress. Daily updates to the owner.

Hannah was wonderful in guiding us through our first Rover experience. We were nervous leaving our two dogs with someone other than family or close friends for the first time and Hannah reassured us every step of the way. She took the best care of our girls and updated us everyday with pictures. It is very apparent Hannah cares for the animals she looks after. She was professional and respectful of our home. We would not hesitate to book Hannah for our future dog sitting needs.

About: Hello and welcome to my page! Please let me know if you have any questions and I will happily answer them! 😊😊 ABOUT ME 🙋‍♂️ Hi! I’m Ben, and I am a dog dad / animal lover to two babies - Jackson and little Quincy! 💜🐾 MY PETS 🐾 Jackson is a Parsons Jack Russell Terrier - he is a very affectionate dog. Loves to chase balls and even loves hunting bubbles - so funny to watch. Jackson was rescued by me 5 years ago. Quincy is a little love bug. He is a Chiweenie - a chihuahua / weener mix. Very cute, very gentle and loving. He is very quiet and spends most of his day searching for his next cuddle lol 🥰. Quincy was rescued by me 3 years ago. Wee Jojo is a mix Toy Yorkshire / Long haired Chihuahua. Wee Jojo is a tiny little bundle of love 🥰, she is very quiet, gentle and affectionate. Wee Jojo was rescued by me one year ago from Texas. Jackson, Quincy and Wee Jojo get along with all dogs, big and small. They are very sweet dogs and just live for cuddles, walks, fetch and treats 😬 My dogs are my life. My dogs keep me going, and I just love them so much. I will care for your puppy like I care for my own - I am available 7 days a week as I work from home and will give your baby the attention and love that I give my own dogs. SUPERVISION and SAFETY: 🐾 my garden is fully fenced in and the fences are secure. I have baby gates installed on all doors going outside and on my porch entrance for added safety. 🐾 your dogs and my dogs will be separated when it’s feeding time this is to ensure safety - especially for dogs that have allergies. 🐾 dogs in my care are always kept on leash when we are out walking. WALKING 🚶 During your stay I will take your dog for a walk on a nearby trail which runs right by a lake. The walk usually takes 1-2 hours. Throughout the day the dogs will be able to play in my fenced garden and after work I go on an evening walk. TOYS 🧸 I have a toy box full of toys. You can bring your own toys or your pup can play with mine. BOWLS 🥣 For client convenience I have spare bowls which I use for client pups. You don’t need to bring bowls but if you want to I can use yours - no problem at all. BEDDING 🛌 I have 6 dog beds throughout my house. Your pup can sleep on them, I also have a sofa and blankets which your dog is free to sleep / rest on. But if you want to bring your own bedding you are more than welcome to do so 😊 WATER 💧 I have flowing water fountains in the living room, upstairs and in the basement. The filters are cleaned and replaced frequently ✅. There is also a water bowl in the garden incase your pup gets thirsty when outside. HEATING / COOLING ☀️🌧️⚡️❄️ 🐾 to ensure a clean living environment I have a dehumidifier. 🐾 I have the heating on throughout the day and night during winter months RESCUE DOGS ❤️ I have extensive experience with rescue dogs and (currently 3 rescues) managing anxiety / separation anxiety. I have been around rescue dogs all of my life, throughout my childhood my mum used to rescue and foster dogs, she nurtured and I helped her care for the rescues and we gave them a beautiful life on our farm. My mum is truly a dog expert and I got all of my knowledge from her. I am also very experienced in dealing with separation anxiety / other types of anxiety through experience and also through reading / researching and learning about different methods on YouTube 📚. COMMUNICATION 💬 For me communication is key. I understand what it feels like to leave my pups when I go on vacation or see family - it’s so hard to leave them. So during every visit I guarantee that there will be seamless communication. I usually communicate with owners 4 times daily (morning, afternoon, evening and before bed) with fun / cute photo -AND video updates with a brief summary of how your baby is doing! MY HOUSE 🏠 I live at 56 Spar Crescent in Dartmouth, there is plenty of parking space for drop offs and pick ups. My house has three floors and dogs are welcome in all parts of my house, there is ample space for dogs both inside and out. And I have a lot of cozy spaces for dogs to sleep and rest, and even have a human dog bed! It’s super comfy and cozy 🥰. I also have a fenced back yard / garden for dogs to play in. There is also lots of parks, forests and lakes nearby to explore on walks. MEET and GREETs 📅 I prefer to do a meet and greet with every new client. We can do this at my house in my garden and we can get to know each other and your pup can play and run around my (fenced) garden with my dogs. DAILY ROUTINE 📆 I work from home 5 days a week. My routine is to wake up early at 6 am and go for a walk with my dogs to the nearby lake, the walk there and back usually takes about two hours. As I work from home during the day I take the dogs to the dog park attached to my building for frequent pee breaks throughout the day. In the evening after work we usually go for a smaller walk to the waterfront and back. My house is very safe and the safety and well being of your dog (and my dogs) is my number one priority. As I work from home, I am always home, your dog will not be left alone at any time. My house is fenced in and your dogs wellbeing is my number one priority.

About: I have owned my own dogs that I have groomed myself and taken care of for years. When fostering dogs, we are required to maintain their grooming and other health needs. My schedule is extremely flexible, as I work shift work as a youth care worker. I have a lot of time during the daytime to check in on, walk, and feed your dogs as needs require. I have a fenced in backyard with no other pets. We have 2 couches that we all the dogs to sit on, as well as my bed. Can crate your dogs if needed. Always walk dogs on leash.
